By 9:30am, she'd land at Kitakyushu Airport, hop on a bus, and reach campus, ready for class. She spent the four hours daily time wisely by using it to catch up on readings and complete assignments.It's not just the time that's demanding. The daily round-trip cost reportedly crossed 30,000 yen (Rs 18,000 to 20,000 approximately) each day. And once she returned to Tokyo in the evenings, there were no breaks. Her nights were filled with dance rehearsals and vocal training.Nakashima said she had dreamed of attending university since secondary school and wasn't ready to let her career come in the way of that ambition.
