Yet, instead of giving up on her higher education, she stuck to her goal. She said she used to wake up at 5am, head to Haneda Airport by 6, and catch the first flight By 9:30am, she'd land at Kitakyushu Airport, hop on a bus, and reach campus, ready for class. She spent the four hours daily time wisely by using it to catch up on readings and complete not just the time that's demanding. The daily round-trip cost reportedly crossed 30,000 yen (Rs 18,000 to 20,000 approximately) each day. And once she returned to Tokyo in the evenings, there were no breaks. While she lives in Tokyo, her university is in Fukuoka, about 1,000km away in southwestern Japan. In the video, Nakashima revealed that attending the university had been her dream since secondary school. Due to the distance, she flies every day to get to class. Her routine starts at 5am when she applies her make-up and then heads to Haneda Airport at 6am to catch the first flight. Nakashima arrives in Kitakyushu Airport at around 9.30am, then takes a taxi or bus to the campus in Fukuoka. The one-way journey takes more than two hours and costs more than 15,000 yen (RM466.5).
