Bruce Willis goes on Sunday drive with two guardians in rare public outing
Bruce Willis was accompanied by two bodyguards as he was driven around Los Angeles Saturday in a rare public outing for the stricken star.
The actor, 70, has limited his public exposure during his dementia battle, but he looked relaxed on the weekend as he was spotted in the Studio City area of the city.
The Die Hard star, sitting in the front seat of a black SUV, wore a green golf shirt with a multi-toned billed hat during the 45-minute trip.
Meanwhile, his wife, Emma Hemming Willis, 46, shared some flashback photos in her Instagram Stories of vacations past and a new video clip showing how she and her family have adapted to their new reality.
'Beach summer days were our favorite family days,' she wrote sharing a sweet snap of the couple and their daughters Mabel and Evelyn.
Sharing a clip of the girls, now 12 and 10, she explained: 'And we still enjoy these beach days in our new reframed ways, we are blessed and I'm grateful.'
Emma also shared a snap of her buried in the sand advising: 'Making time this long weekend to recharge our batteries while remembering the brave souls we honor this Memorial Day.'
'I hope you find a moment to rest, reflect and nourish your spirit.'
'Girl! Enjoy this time for you. You definitely deserve the sun and sand (even if it's over you).
'Caregivers do not take this time for themselves often enough.
'Enjoy for all of us!❤️ Especially for all you do,' wrote a fellow caregiver.
Emma has written about her experience and what she has learned about taking care of someone with dementia in a new book.
Bruce was stepped away from public life after his diagnosis of frontotemporal aphasia in 2022.
The condition progressed and the family announced he was suffering from frontotemporal dementia in 2023.
The Unexpected Journey: Finding Strength, Hope And Yourself On The Caregiving Path will be published on September 9.
Bruce's daughter Rumer, 36, whom he shares with ex-wife Demi Moore, 62, gave a brief update on her father's condition in a recent interview.
'He's great, he's really good,' she told Extra while promoting her film Trail Of Vengeance, which debuted in theaters and on digital platforms May 23.
Rumer said she would be showing the western, which included lots of action scenes, to her dad.
'When I'm on the sets, especially doing any sort of like physical stuff, I pulled the stunt guy Dale aside and I was like, "Listen, you need to show me how to make this look good because I've got a big-time legacy right here to make sure that I live up to, so none of this, like, sissy stuff,"' she explained.
The actress seemed to relish the experience. 'We had a lot of fight scenes. We would joke on set about how much I get slapped around in this movie. It's very aggressive. I felt really empowered,' she said.

Cardi B makes shocking claim about cheating ex Offset as she sparks fan concern
Cardi B revealed the shocking reason she had no choice but to file for divorce from estranged husband Offset back on July 31 following six years of marriage. The 32-year-old Grammy winner was traumatized over 'waking up each day' to a new article about the 33-year-old father-of-six's philandering ways like when he brought Atlanta-based model Melanie Jayda with him to Dubai in January. Cardi B (born Belcalis Almánzar) started seeing a therapist last year because she was suffering from 'frequent headaches' and was 'literally losing my mind.' 'I gave chances after chances after chances after chances,' the half-Dominican, half-Trinidadian star - who boasts 281.2M social media followers - confessed on X Spaces Tuesday. 'If I was still there [in that marriage], I was going to end up going to jail because I was going to end up killing him. Seriously, with my own bare hands because it was getting too much.' Cardi B and Offset (born Kiari Kendrell Cephus) had legally separated in November 2023, but the on/off nature of their romance resulted in the birth of their eight-month-old baby daughter Blossom. 'My baby came out 5lbs because I couldn't eat because I was so depressed because of the lies and the constant drama,' the Higher Love rapper cried. 'This is more than the cheating. It's just like the constant lies, the gaslighting - it was really messing up with my head.' The three-time Grammy nominee previously accused Cardi B of cheating on him 'with a baby inside' but on Tuesday she doubled down: 'I was married for seven years. I was faithful for seven years. Before that, I was engaged for three years.' Cardi B counted all of her blessings - talent, health, wealth, cars, property, and cute children - and noted that Offset was her only liability. 'We did help each other with our jobs. But it's like you're helping me, but you're destroying me at the same time,' the Kamala Harris campaigner explained. 'You gotta go. You become a liability to my work, you gotta go.' MailOnline has reached out to her reps for comment. Cardi B and Offset's divorce battle got even uglier when he filed for spousal support last week - according to TMZ. The Migos alum has also requested joint legal custody of their six-year-old daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, three-year-old son Wave Set Cephus, and eight-month-old baby daughter Blossom. The Enough Miami rapper previously separated from Offset from December 5, 2018 to January 31, 2019 amid cheating allegations. The on/off hip-hop couple's first date was the 2017 Super Bowl. Cardi B (born Belcalis Almánzar) started seeing a therapist last year because she was suffering from 'frequent headaches' and was 'literally losing my mind' (pictured Sunday) On Tuesday, Offset appeared to have deleted his Instagram and X accounts the day after Cardi B went Instagram official with her new boyfriend, New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs. The Love & Hip Hop: New York alum will be honored with the Voice of the Culture Award from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers during an invite-only ceremony next Sunday in Los Angeles, CA. Cardi B previously received ASCAP's Rhythm & Soul Songwriter of the Year Award two years in a row, eight ASCAP Pop Music Awards, and 23 ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards. The former stripper is next scheduled to perform June 27 at Under the K Bridge Park in Brooklyn, NY alongside Hercules & Love Affair, COBRAH, Sofia Kourtesis, Danny Tenaglia, and Alex Chapman. Cardi B - who gets 28.4M monthly listeners on Spotify - has vowed to release the long-delayed sophomore follow-up to her 2018 debut studio album Invasion of Privacy this year.

Neil Young invites Trump to a concert on his summer tour after previously calling the president a 'disgrace'
Canada-born rocker Neil Young has invited President Donald Trump to come attend his summer concert tour – after ripping the president online for threatening 'our way of life.' Young posted about the president on his blog while extending the possibly mock invitation to the self-described fan who he has also labeled 'out of control.' 'When I tour the USA this summer, if there is not martial law by then which would make it impossible, let's all come together and stand for American values,' the Canadian-American rocker wrote on his 'Neil Young Archives.' 'We will not be doing a political show,' Young explained. 'We will be playing the music we love for all of us to enjoy together. President Trump, you are invited. Come and hear our music just as you did for decades.' Young, whose hits have included 'Helpless,' 'Cinnamon Girl,' and 'Southern Man,' along with ' Ohio,' tore into Trump in an earlier posting on his site. That came after Trump's taunts at rocker Bruce Springsteen, one of numerous celebs and notable politicians and other figures Trump has said he would go after, after speaking of 'retribution' during the presidential campaign. 'I am not scared of [Trump]. Neither are the rest of us,' Young wrote. 'What are you worryin' about man?" Young wrote. 'Bruce and thousands of musicians think you are ruining America. You worry about that instead of the dyin' kids in Gaza. That's your problem.' He also referenced the Boss in his post dated June 2. 'Bruce Springsteen and many others will be in our country this summer, there for you, playing your favorite music, songs like 'Born in the USA'. We are proud to be who wer are, and must never let our government forget it,' he wrote. 'Thanks, Neil,' he signed off. The Canadian-American was born north of the border, didn't mention Trump's repeated statements about making Canada the 51st U.S. state in his latest post. Trump, who carefully curates the playlists for his rallies with songs ranging from 'Y.M.C.A. to Puccini's 'Nussun dorma', has called himself a fan of the down-to-earth singer. But Young sued in 2020 for playing his 'Rockin' in the Free World' at rallies he called 'divisive.' He was one of a long list of musicians who objected to their music being used. The suit was later dismissed without prejudice. '[Young's] got something very special. I've listened to his music for years…' Trump once told Rolling Stone, even calling Young's voice 'haunting.' Young's earlier May 20 post contained an image of the White House, and said Trump 'shut down FEMA' – although in fact Trump has only vowed to scrap the agency. He also advised the president to 'stop thinking about what rockers are saying.' That could be unlikely. Trump this week vowed to visit Kid Rock's new restaurant in Nashville. He also plans to attend an upcoming showing of Les Miserables at the Kennedy Center, after installing loyalist Ric Grinell and forcing out board members of the D.C. cultural institution. Trump has found time to attend multiple sporting events as president. Should he decide to take Young up on his offer, his U.S. tour takes him to Jones Beach in Trump's former New York stomping ground, along with Virginia, Rhode Island and New Hampshire – plus Toronto.

EXCLUSIVE Brooklyn Beckham is tipped to follow in Prince Harry's footsteps and 'share his truth' after 'bonding over bitter family feuds'
Brooklyn Beckham sees Prince Harry as a mentor because of the way he has stood up to the Royal Family and repeatedly publicly defended his wife Meghan Markle, it has been claimed. The two Brits living in California have reportedly found kinship over their own family feuds - with their wives the Duchess of Sussex and Nicola Peltz also bonding at a recent dinner in Montecito. 'Brooklyn is seeing Harry as something of a mentor. He really admires the way he's stood up for himself and his wife — and that's got him fired up to do the same,' a insider has reportedly claimed. There is even a hint that Brooklyn could make his grievances public, and 'share his truth', like Harry has done. Just last month the Duke of Sussex launched a series of scathing attacks on the Royal Family, claiming he has been cut off from King Charles who 'won't speak to him' because of his battle with the Home Office over taxpayer-funded security. 'Brooklyn feels very misunderstood, so following the same path as Harry and sharing his truth is incredibly appealing. He just wants to get his side of the story on the record', the National Enquirer's source has said. MailOnline has asked a spokesman for Brooklyn Beckham to comment. The family feud, nicknamed Beckxit because of its similarities to Harry and Meghan's falling out with the royals, began in the run-up to Brooklyn and Nicola's extravagant Palm Beach wedding in April 2022. But it came to a head during David's 50th birthday celebrations earlier this year when, despite travelling to London, Brooklyn and Nicola didn't attend a big family party at the Beckhams ' Cotswolds home, an idyllic trip to France or a meal at Notting Hill Michelin-starred restaurant, Core. Brooklyn, 26, also missed a 'boys fishing trip' to the Scottish Highlands with his father and his younger brothers Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20, as well as a pre-birthday bash at Miami restaurant Cipriani at the end of March. Last month it was claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were 'secretly supporting' Brooklyn and Nicola because of their 'similar family feuds'. The two women are said to have had a 'deep and meaningful' chat and share a bond after being accused by critics of being 'homewreckers' and women who 'tear apart their husbands' families'. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who enjoyed a date night at a James Taylor concert in Santa Barbara last night after going to a Beyonce gig on the weekend, had the couple over for dinner at their mansion in Montecito, California in recent weeks. Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, who live 90 minutes away in LA, have received 'unwavering support' from Harry and Meghan who reportedly feel 'empathetic' towards them amid the younger couple's tensions with David and Victoria Beckham. 'Brooklyn and Nicola had a wonderful time and found Harry and Meghan to be particularly kind, caring and generous', one source said today. The Duchess of Sussex 'has a lot of sympathy for her' because both women have been branded 'homewreckers', another source familiar with the dinner claimed. 'There was shared common ground', the insider claimed. 'Nicola and Meghan also had a bit of a "deep n' meaningful" as obviously both women have been positioned in the media as homewreckers - the women to tear apart their husbands' families. 'Harry and Meghan were very empathetic and very kind to them both. Harry was fully aware of the situation and offered Brooklyn his unwavering support as someone who has been through similar'. The Sussexes have apparently swapped mobile numbers with the couple. The Mail on Sunday revealed over the weekend that Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz have hired the Duke and Duchess of Sussex 's lawyer to help them with their 'reputation management'. Last week, the couple, who have reportedly fallen out with his parents David and Victoria, instructed Jenny Afia, the British solicitor who works for Schillings law firm. The appointment came after the Duchess of Sussex and Harry met Brooklyn and Nicola at a party in Montecito, California, three weeks ago as guests of Brian Robbins, chief executive at Paramount Pictures. Ms Afia's appointment has prompted 'much amusement', it is claimed, among the Beckhams, as Posh and Becks fell out with Harry some years ago after they were accused by the couple of leaking stories. A source familiar with the rift told the MoS: 'You couldn't really make it up, first Brooklyn and Nicola cosy up together and realise they have quite a lot in common, and then all of a sudden they have enlisted the help of the Sussexes' long-serving lawyer. 'Nicola and Brooklyn are getting fed up of stories running they don't like. Nicola likes to control everything and they have taken this rather drastic action. 'For the Beckhams the irony isn't lost. They fell out with Meghan and Harry after they accused them of leaking stories – they were furious and Brooklyn knows that. 'The two couples are very close indeed.'
