At 8,126 meters, Nanga Parbat is the ninth highest peak in the world. With this latest accomplishment, Sheikha Asma has now successfully climbed 9 of the 14 mountains globally that exceed 8,000 meters in elevation. Qatar re-opens airspace
The General Civil Aviation Authority on Monday night announced the resumption of air traffic in the airspace of the State of Qatar and the return to the normal operations, after taking the necessary measures in coordination with the relevant authorities. The authority commended the great cooperation shown by all partners and the efforts of all state entities to ensure the safety and security of aviation in Qatari airspace. (TNN)
