Emma Stone abandons renovation plans as she lists unfinished $26M Austin mansion
Emma Stone has officially listed her Austin mansion on the market for $26.5 million - despite the home still undergoing finishing renovations.
The Oscar winner, 36 - who recently garnered a standing ovation for her new film Eddington at the Cannes Film Festival - initially purchased the Tarrytown property in 2021, although it is not known for what price.
But for three years, the actress and her husband Dave McCary renovated the estate with the intention to move their family there but have since opted to abruptly not follow through with those plans.
Eric Moreland - one of the listing agents from Moreland Properties/Forbes Global Properties - told Realtor.com that the couple's business in New York is keeping them there, but they still hope to settle in Austin later in the future.
The 10,000-square-foot abode sits on around 1.25-acres of land - while the main home consists of a total of four bedrooms.

Also on the property is a two-bedroom guest house as well as a spacious three-car garage that has a screening room above.
The mansion - which was first constructed sometime in the 1940s - also offers a swimming pool for residents to cool down in the hot summer temperatures and a hot tub.
The backyard also has a dirt walkway surrounded by plants and trees which leads to the pool area and other parts of the home.
A covered outdoor space offers plenty of room for entertaining and also has a kitchen space.
The front embodies Georgia-style details with tall white pillars at the entrance and dark shutters around the windows.
Both the kitchen and living room are part of an open floor plan - and wooden flooring covers most of the house.
The kitchen has a large island in the middle while the cabinetry is painted a dark bluish tint.
Other portions of the house have wood-paneled walls while one area allows natural sunlight to stream inside through the roof.
Renovations are yet to be completed, such as the landscape at the front of the property - which is also not far from a boat ramp that leads to Lady Bird Lake.

One of the bathrooms has partial brickwork on the walls, as well as tiled flooring and a bathtub that is separate from the shower.
A second kitchen area is located inside the mansion and also includes a long island in the middle and windows that offer a glimpse at the outdoor space.
Stone is no stranger to entering the real estate market and listed her Malibu home in 2022 and just one month later, it sold for $4.4 million.
Last year, Emma also put her Los Angeles home on the market - which sold only two weeks later for $4.3 million.
According to Realtor.com, the Easy A actress and her husband also own an apartment in Manhattan which is estimated to be worth around $12 million.
The pair - who tied the knot back in 2020 - are also parents to a daughter named Louise, four.
Stone has been keeping busy and recently made an appearance at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival to promote her upcoming project titled Eddington.
The Western comedy also stars Pedro Pascal, Austin Butler, Joaquin Phoenix, Luke Grimes and Deirdre O'Connell.
The premise is: 'In May of 2020, a standoff between a small-town sheriff and mayor sparks a powder keg as neighbor is pitted against neighbor in Eddington, New Mexico,' per IMDB.
Ari Aster wrote and directed the film - and is known for others movies such as Hereditary and Midsommar.
During a press conference at Cannes over the past weekend, the filmmaker opened up about what led him to penning the script to Eddington.
'I wrote this film in a state of fear and anxiety about the world, and I wanted to try to pull back and show what it feels like to live in a world where nobody can agree on what is real anymore,' he said, per The Hollywood Reporter.
'The last 20 years, we've fallen into this age of hyper individualism… I wanted to make a film about what America feels like at that time, and it felt bad.
'I'm very worried. We need to re-engage with each other. That's the only hope,' Aster added.
Last week on Friday, a screening of Eddington was shown during the film festival and garnered a seven-minute standing ovation.
Phoenix was visibly brought to tears over the positive reception and in a Vanity Fair clip, Aster addressed the audience.
'Thank you for being here. I feel very privileged to be here. It's a dream come true. Thank you so much for having me. And, I don't know - sorry? I don't know.'
Shortly before on the red carpet, a humorous moment took place when Emma was posing with some of her co-stars Austin Butler and Pedro Pascal.
At one point, a bee flew directly towards Stone's face - causing the actress to give a shocked reaction and bend backwards. Pascal and Butler soon intervened to brush the bee away as they continued to take pictures.

EXCLUSIVE The truth about Todd Chrisley's youthful post-prison appearance
Todd Chrisley has shocked fans with his youthful appearance following his release from prison – and now sources have claimed to that he's already squeezed in an emergency Botox appointment. The reality star, 56, and with his wife, Julie Chrisley, 52, received presidential pardons from Donald Trump on Wednesday and less than 24 hours later, he is said to have sought out cosmetic treatment to smooth out his wrinkles. Speaking exclusively to an insider close to the family claimed that the first thing Todd did after becoming a free man was pay a trip to an anesthetist for some tweakments to his face. According to the source, Todd jokingly hid his new face with shopping bags, as well as a hat and sunglasses, to keep the results under wraps. They said: 'You better bet that Todd's first visit was to the cosmetic surgeon. He was not about to be seen for the first time looking wrinkly. 'He wore a hat and sunglasses to cover up the massive amount of Botox he got on his forehead and his eyes. 'Todd has wanted this more than anything. This is also why he had a bag over his head. It is also why Savannah was laughing and said that her father hasn't aged a day. 'They made a mandatory stop at the Botox doc prior to their Nordstrom spree. 'He needed new clothes to go along with his new face. Todd is now ready to make his grand debut.' A representative for Todd declined to comment when contacted by Speculation of Todd's tweakments comes after social media users had pointed out his youthful visage following a spate of pictures and videos of him and daughter Savannah enjoying a shopping trip. 'How in the world did he come out of prison looking much younger?' one transfixed fan asked. 'He looks great, and we are so happy for your family Savannah.' 'He looks better than I've ever seen him honestly,' said another. A third commented: 'Looking good! Prison agreed with you! Stay off the Botox!' Todd and Julie were convicted in 2022 for orchestrating a $30 million bank fraud and tax evasion scheme. Julie was sentenced to serve in Kentucky until 2028, and Todd in Florida until 2032. But on Tuesday, Trump personally called their daughter, Savannah, from the Oval Office to inform her of his bombshell decision. 'It's a great thing because your parents are going to be free and clean,' a smiling Trump said during the phone call with Savannah. On Friday, Todd was joined by his daughter for his first press conference since his release. Speaking to reporters in Nashville, Tennessee, he admitted that he does not feel remorse over his conviction. 'I would have remorse if it was something that I did,' he said. 'The corruption that went on in our case is going to continue to unfold.' He also recalled the moment he found out he had been pardoned. 'I remember walking back from the phone and just feeling numb,' he said. 'Then after about 10 minutes all I could think about was the guys that I was leaving behind.' While Todd has been described as looking younger, his wife Julie has also undergone a transformation of her own. On Thursday, she was seen sporting brown and gray locks while leaving a butcher shop in Nashville in her first few hours as a free woman. The former Chrisley Knows Best star, who was known for her coiffed blonde do, grinned in the image first obtained by Fox News Digital.

Kelly Bensimon appears to take brutal swipe at ex-fiance while gushing over new man she met on Hinge
Kelly Bensimon has opened up about the new man in her life—and appeared to throw a thinly veiled jab at her ex-fiancé, nearly a year after calling off their wedding. The former Real Housewives of New York star, 57, who was spotted packing on the PDA with Connecticut businessman Robert Flood during a recent date night in NYC, shared fresh details about the budding romance with Us Weekly. 'It's early days,' she told the outlet. But while gushing over Flood, Bensimon seemed to take subtle swipes at her ex Scott Litner, whom she abruptly split from just days before their scheduled June 2024 ceremony. 'He's a very, very nice human. Clearly, an adult. Well-educated. Well-mannered. Does very well for himself. Good father. He's a man,' she said of Flood. Bensimon revealed she met her new flame on the dating app Hinge, saying she was drawn to his 'authentic' profile photo—marking a departure from her previous stint on the celeb-heavy app Raya. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. But while gushing over her new man, Bensimon seemed to take subtle swipes at her ex Scott Litner, whom she abruptly split from just days before their scheduled June 2024 ceremony; seen in NYC in October 2023 'I've been on Raya for a long time,' she said. 'I think that one of the things that's really important when you're going on a dating app is to really present your own self… I was like, 'Oh, my God,' I found this one picture of [Flood] sitting there, white jeans on, these shoes, blue shirt on, and I was like, 'He looks like a guy I went to college with.'' Bensimon, who called of her wedding to former fiancé Scott Litner just days before their June 2024 ceremony said she's taking everything one day at a time. 'I definitely feel like it's much better this time because I am slowly easing into it,' she explained. 'I feel really healthy and I feel really good about the decisions that I'm making in my life and who knows what's going to happen in my future, but I'm just grateful for how I'm treating every day.' The real estate mogul, who shares two daughters Sea, 27, and Teddy, 24 - with ex-husband Gilles Bensimon, said Flood hasn't yet met her girls. 'When they're ready to meet him, they will definitely let me know,' she stated. The influencer said she isn't worried about her fame getting in the way of a future relationship. 'Do not ask your significant other if they cared about being in the public eye,' the model asserted, adding, 'And if you're asking them that question, they're not someone that you should be with.' Flood is apparently used to being on the edge of fame. A source told Page Six that the Managing Director of Truist Securities has previously dated podcast host Rachel Uchitel. Bensimon is comfortable with standing her own ground, claiming she called off the wedding to Litner because he refused to sign a prenup. In a statement to Page Six at the time, she expressed: 'I have decided that my two daughters are my priority and I won't be moving forward with this wedding.' Bensimon had also told People, 'Ultimately, my decision is nobody's business, but I understand that there is speculation and gossip, and I want to put an end to all of it. 'To be clear, he refused to sign a prenuptial agreement, and I refused to marry him. Full stop.' An accompanying statement also read: 'She was looking forward to an exciting new chapter in her life together with Scott when everything became clear to her late on Tuesday afternoon. '[He] refused to sign a prenuptial agreement, effectively stalling their engagement mere days before the wedding.' Bensimon further explained, 'He thought that I would enter this union without legal protections in place, that I would leave everything to faith. 'But I've worked really, really, hard as a single mother and have always made smart decisions for myself and my family, and that will continue.' The following month in July, Kelly also informed 'I'm obviously extremely disappointed, but it's not something that just happened. This is something that was building up over time and the prenup was a big deal for me. 'It's like when you're a single parent, whether you have thousands in your account or you have a 100 million in your account, women are going to need to protect themselves, and I'm just not going to take a risk.' She also talked about how her circumstance has 'opened a lot of doors' when it comes to having conversations about prenuptial agreements. 'It's about having personal respect and value, which I have. I'm raising two girls, who are really important to me. 'But the prenup is really important because it talks about more than just your own personal value,' Bensimon added. 'I guess the biggest takeaway from this is just about protecting myself and my friends and being a solid female that people can come to.' Kelly expressed, 'I've had so many people reach out to me and say, This happened to me…I just have so much empathy for them, and I try to be a solid sounding board for them...' Only two months after not going through with the wedding, the media personality had revealed to Page Six that she was stepping back into the dating scene. 'I'm not in a relationship. I am…happy to move forward with new possibilities... [I'm] having fun dating.'

Francisco Lindor (2 homers) leads Mets over Rockies
May 31 - Francisco Lindor hit two homers while David Peterson continued his strong season by tossing 5 2/3 solid innings and earning the win Friday night, when the host New York Mets beat the reeling Colorado Rockies 4-2 in the opener of a three-game series. Starling Marte also homered while the slumping Juan Soto went 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Mets, who have won six of eight. Ryan McMahon laced an RBI double and Sam Hilliard hit a pinch-hit homer in his first big league at-bat of the season for the Rockies, who lost their sixth straight to drop to 9-48 -- the worst 57-game start in modern baseball history. Lindor, who entered the game with just eight hits in his last 51 at-bats dating back to May 14, hit a leadoff homer while batting right-handed against left-hander Kyle Freeland (0-8) and provided insurance with a round-tripper from the left side against right-hander Seth Halvorsen to open the eighth. The leadoff homer was the fifth of the season for Lindor while the two-homer game was his second of the season and the 21st of his career. Lindor also singled in the third and scored on Soto's two-out double. The hit snapped an 0-for-17 skid for Soto dating back to Sunday night. Peterson (4-2) allowed one run on five hits and one walk while striking out five over 5 2/3 innings. The left-hander, who was raised in Colorado, has allowed three runs or fewer in 10 of his 11 starts this season Peterson wriggled out of a bases-loaded jam in the second by retiring Thairo Estrada on a liner to a leaping Lindor at shortstop. That began a stretch of nine consecutive batters retired by Peterson, who exited after plunking Estrada, surrendering a single to Brenton Doyle and giving up McMahon's double in a three-pitch span. Huascar Brazoban gave up one hit -- Hilliard's homer -- over 1 1/3 innings before Reed Garrett threw a perfect eighth. Edwin Diaz struck out all three batters in the ninth to earn his 12th save. Doyle had two hits for the Rockies. Freeland gave up three runs on seven hits and no walks while striking out four over six innings. --Field Level Media
