Cambium Networks announces three hospitality Wi-Fi upgrades
Networking solutions company Cambium Networks has provided the ONE Network solution to properties in Italy, Tennessee, and Hawaii, aiding in Wi-Fi upgrades.
This move has improved coverage and reduced support calls, with success at DelParco Hotel in Udine, Italy; Maples Motor Inn in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; and a selection of Hawaiian resorts upgraded by Pacific DirectConnect.
Cambium Networks CEO Morgan Kurk said: 'With our hospitality solutions, boutique properties can outperform brand flags on connectivity without an army of IT staff.'
DelParco Hotel has seen an improvement in its network capabilities after replacing multiple legacy systems with Cambium's comprehensive solution stack.
The installation includes the NSE 3000 next-generation firewall, EX2028P/EX1028P switches, XV2-22H wall plate APs, and XV2-21X APs, all managed by the cnMaestro X cloud.
This upgrade has allowed guests to enjoy 4K streaming without buffering while the hotel's staff benefit from faster application performance and zero unplanned downtime.
DelParco Hotel's owner Paolo Meroi said: 'The solution installed by Giemme Soluzioni allows us to offer uncompromised connectivity that aligns with the high standards and image of our facility.'
The impact of the upgrades is quantifiable, with DelParco Hotel experiencing a 75% reduction in Wi-Fi support calls and a rise in online travel agency (OTA) survey scores for "internet quality".
Cambium partner Quickrelay played a crucial role in this by installing 40 XV2-21X Wi-Fi 6 access points, which led to a substantial decrease in guest Wi-Fi complaints and a 30-point increase in OTA scores.
In Hawaii, Pacific DirectConnect has also reaped the benefits of Cambium's technology by efficiently covering extensive resort areas with strong Wi-Fi signals using fewer outdoor APs.
The switch to just six XV2-23T units from a planned 14 has resulted in a 60% reduction in hardware.
Over 1,000 hotels in more than 70 countries are using Cambium's ONE Network architecture, which ensures that all devices are centrally managed through cnMaestro to provide a unified view for Wi-Fi, switching, and security.
In Italy, these solutions are distributed by Giemme Soluzioni, a part of Cambium's global network of authorised hospitality MSPs and resellers.
This global ecosystem is further strengthened by Cambium's partnership with digital technology company Nonius last year, focusing on hotel Wi-Fi connectivity solutions.
"Cambium Networks announces three hospitality Wi-Fi upgrades" was originally created and published by Hotel Management Network, a GlobalData owned brand.

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez arrive in Venice as wedding festivities begin
Print Close By Christina Dugan Ramirez Published June 25, 2025 Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez 's wedding festivities are officially underway. On Wednesday, the soon-to-be newlyweds were seen arriving at the Aman Hotel in Venice, Italy via water-taxi. As she stepped off, a glowing Sanchez turned to the crowd to give a quick wave. JEFF BEZOS, LAUREN SANCHEZ TO WED DURING THREE-DAY VENICE EXTRAVAGANZA THAT'S SPARKING LOCAL FURY According to multiple reports, the couple decided to change one of their wedding venues in Venice because of security concerns and possible protests. The couple had planned to hold a wedding party at the historic Scuola Grande della Misericordia in the Cannaregio section of the city, but are now said to be moving it to the harder-to-reach Arsenale, a former shipyard, which is completely surrounded by water and only reachable by boat when connecting bridges are raised, BBC News and Reuters reported. CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT NEWSLETTER A number of celebrities are invited to the wedding festivities, which remain a secret but are expected to kick off on Thursday and end Saturday in the picturesque Italian city. Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner arrived in Italy on Tuesday ahead of the festivities. The couple traveled by boat from the Marco Polo airport in Venice to the St. Regis hotel. Trump wore an off-white cropped top with a matching long skirt. The outfit featured red-orange detailing. The arrivals spark resemblance to George Clooney and wife Amal's Venice wedding in 2014. The power couple were famously photographed riding a water-taxi ahead of their nuptials, which included an impressive guest list of A-list celebrities. As guests continue to arrive for the Bezos-Sanchez wedding, more and more Venetian citizens have voiced their frustrations over the event that could possibly pose a threat to a city that is already impacted by mass tourism. However, despite the ongoing backlash , the couple's wedding planners told Fox News Digital that Bezos and Sanchez specifically instructed them to minimize the disruptions to the best of their ability out of respect to the locals. "As event organizers who have been working in Venice for over 24 years, we feel obliged to set the record straight given the misinformation, untruths and misunderstandings circulating about the Bezos wedding," the team at Lanza & Baucina Limited said in a statement. "From the outset, instructions from our client and our own guiding principles were abundantly clear: the minimizing of any disruption to the city, the respect for its residents and institutions and the overwhelming employment of locals in the crafting of the events. LIKE WHAT YOU'RE READING? CLICK HERE FOR MORE ENTERTAINMENT NEWS "Rumors of 'taking over' the city are entirely false and diametrically opposed to our goals and to reality," the statement continued. "No exaggerated quantity of water taxis or gondolas have ever been booked, the number of taxis reserved being proportionate for the number of guests. Before the recent news of protests arose, we had worked for there to be minimal negative impact or disruption to the lives of Venetians and the city's visitors. "We have always acknowledged the wider debate and critical issues surrounding the city's future, and from the outset our client has been honored to support the city and its all-important lagoon through non-profit organizations and associated projects," the statement concluded. "I don't know if I will have time [to meet Bezos and Sánchez ], or if he will, to meet and shake hands, but it's an honor that they chose Venice. Venice once again reveals itself to be a global stage." CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP Fox News Digital's Emily Trainham, Lauryn Overhultz and Brie Stimson contributed to this post. 6 Ways To Find The Best Buyer For Your Business
What if your ideal buyer is already in your network, but you don't even know it yet? What if the perfect buyer for your business is already in your network, but you don't even know it yet? And what if waiting to look for business buyers until you're 'ready to sell' means you miss your best opportunity to exit on your terms? Most business owners wait too long to find the right buyer. Or worse, they don't know what "right" even looks like. And that lack of clarity? It costs them leverage, value, and peace of mind. This article breaks down six real-world strategies for identifying the best buyers for your business—whether you plan to sell next year or three years from now. These are the same strategies my clients use who want to sell their small business from a position of strength. Let's first walk through the practical mindset shift that helps you stop waiting for a business buyer and start building a buyer list now. 1. Start Searching For A Buyer Before You're Ready To Exit The biggest myth in selling your business is that you should wait until you're ready to sell to start finding buyers. In reality, the longer your horizon to exit, the more control you have over who you sell to, how, and for how much. When you start early searching for business buyers, you're not working under pressure. You're studying your market. You're identifying who's buying businesses like yours. And you're building your buyers list. The longer you track acquirers in your space, the clearer your ideal buyer profile becomes. Is your perfect buyer a strategic acquirer, looking to add your service to their offering? Are they investors consolidating a niche? Is it a solo entrepreneur looking for a cash-flowing business? I always advise clients to build their buyer list and revisit is regularly, by researching new deals in their industry. You don't need a business broker to do this. You need curiosity, Google Alerts, and a Google Sheet. 2. Use Multiple Search Strategies To Find Potential Buyers Many owners ask 'To find a buyer for my business, should I use a broker, a listing platform, or do it myself?' The answer: Use all three. At once. Here's why: Each approach opens different doors. A broker may have a trusted buyer network and can manage the negotiation. A listing platform can offer wide exposure, especially for smaller businesses. But your own network? That's where the magic happens. Your industry contacts, peer communities, suppliers, or even competitors may have the clearest incentive to buy your business. When you diversify your approach to find potential buyers for your business, you not only increase your chances of finding the perfect one, you also create competition amongst interested buyers, which increases your leverage. 3. Vet Business Buyers Before You Waste Time Not all buyer interest is serious interest. There are tire-kickers. There are people who want to "learn more" but aren't qualified or have the money. And then there are the strategic, funded buyers who already know what they want. Your job is to know the difference early. The best buyers will have: Don't be afraid to ask questions: A real buyer won't be offended. They'll respect your professionalism. 4. Google Is Your Secret Weapon To Find Potential Buyers You don't need to be very well connected to start identifying real buyers. You just need the right search terms. Try this: Type your industry + words like 'acquisition,' 'buyout,' or 'merger' into Google News or set up alerts. Over time, you'll spot names that appear repeatedly. You'll also discover the language that acquirers use when announcing deals. This is gold. Why? Because it shows what buyers value: recurring revenue, owner-independence, customer retention, niche market share. Then, reverse-engineer that into your business. Use it to shape how you grow. Use it to shape your buyer pitch. Use it to improve your valuation. Extra Resources: If you want to take it one step further, subscribe to acquisition-focused newsletters like They Got Acquired. They cover real deals in the 6- and 7-figure range, not just unicorns in Silicon Valley. 5. Don't Overlook Your Personal Network One of the first questions I ask business owners who want to sell their business: 'Who do you already know that might be interested?' Almost always, there are names. A supplier who's hinted at expansion. A client who's bought a similar business. A friend of a friend in your industry. These leads are usually warmer, more aligned, and more serious. You don't need to cold-call your contacts. But do start planting seeds. Mention your long-term plans in casual conversations. Say you're starting to think about the next phase. Invite input. Watch who leans in. In one case, a client of mine sold her training business to a former supplier who had quietly admired her systems for years. That deal happened in under 60 days because of the trust and familiarity already in place. 6. Build a Buyer List Like It's An Asset (Because It Is) The buyer list you build today isn't just a spreadsheet. It's leverage. When brokers, investors, or partners see that you've already mapped out who might buy your business—and why—they take you more seriously. It shows you're proactive. Strategic. Prepared. And if you ever do hire a business broker, they'll ask you for that list anyway. Why? Because no one knows your market better than you. So here's how to start: Final Thoughts: You Don't Find the Best Business Buyer By Accident The best exits aren't lucky. They're built by savvy business owners well in advance of the actual sale. If you want to sell your business for what it's worth, to the right person, on the right terms, start thinking about it now. Study the market. Build your business buyer list. Ask better questions. Combine multiple strategies to find out how's buying. And most importantly, don't wait until you're ready to exit. The work you do now, pays you later. Not just in money, but in peace of mind, clarity, and freedom. And isn't that why you built this business in the first place?

Sean Barber's brand Rockets creates employment through his lifestyle empire
The Rockets founder dreamt of being a sports star as a child, but when life happened, he dusted himself off, tried again and now he runs one of SA's biggest lifestyle brands. From restaurants to barbershops and record labels, he has been instrumental in Kelvin Momo's and DBN Gogo's soaring music careers. The multiple award-winning Barber has hosted masterclasses for leading financial institutions. A rugby injury when he was 14 crushed Sean Barber's dreams of a successful sporting career, steering his life towards a different path from what he had envisioned. Reflecting on this redirection, the chartered accountant-turned-hospitality and entertainment wizard told City Press that the experience had opened his eyes to what the adults meant when they said you don't always get what you want in life. Heeding the call to open one door when another closed, the Rockets founder's interest in hospitality was sparked by the years he spent in Wimbledon Village in London in the UK. The area is known for its coffee shops, cafés and restaurants that serve its vibrant community, in addition to being famous for the iconic Wimbledon Tennis Championships, of course. Barber's Rockets empire is not just a restaurant chain but a lifestyle brand including clubs, rooftops, salons and the Dance Africa Record label. Some of the features inside the eateries even include soundproofed clubs and cinemas. In the spirit of Youth Month, Barber explained the importance of teaching young people that a dream derailed was not the end of the world. He said that the future was not determined by one dream and reminded the youth that they were allowed to change their dreams. 'It's good to have different dreams and to pursue them. But the most important thing behind any dream is to realise that, without passion, no dream makes any sense. So, the lesson is, do what you love, do what you're passionate about and then chase it down with everything you have,' he added. He walked City Press through how Rockets' success kicked off with corporate lunches before introducing the salons. This was done as part of his vision to steer people away from seeing Rockets as just a food joint but an all-encompassing lifestyle brand. He remembered a client telling him how the establishment had captured him. Supplied 'I had lunch at Rockets Express. After work, I went for a haircut at Rockets Man and then I went for dinner at Rockets Bryanston,' the client had said. Barber described his establishment as enhancing and incorporating elements of luxury and ease into what one would consider a normal day 'The move into music and to Dance Africa has been just an extension of that. It's a lifestyle brand and a big part of that is entertainment. So, everything just made sense around it and that's why we pushed,' he explained. Among the young artists whose careers Rockets has helped accelerate are Kelvin Momo and DBN Gogo. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Rockets (@ 'I was introduced to both when no one knew who they were. In 2020, Kevin was still a producer, just starting to DJ . ..we gave him a platform to be heard across all the venues and he was an incredible talent. DBN Gogo [Mandisa Radebe] as well, rather than the beginning, you know, no one would know who she was when she was getting on the decks,' he recalled. He described Rockets Media as a label to collect that content to sell to certain media houses, which sparked the idea to incorporate a recording studio as a platform to discover young talent and showcase it. 'We go right to the beginning of music creation ... creating and recording songs and then adding voiceovers into them,' he beamed. Rockets employs more than 400 young people and books an incredible 300 DJs per month. There are thousands of people whose lives we've hopefully positively impacted, whether it's been employment with us and developing their skill set in whatever job they have and enhancing them, enabling them to put Rockets on their CVs. Sean Barber Barber's entrepreneurial journey has resulted in multiple awards and being a guest speaker at the GQ and Standard Bank SA Business Masterclass. He said he wanted to continue inspiring future entrepreneurs by sharing the experiences and challenges that have turned his passion into an empire.
