General Hospital Recap: Lulu Tells Cody She Thinks Gio Is Dante and Brook Lynn's Son

Yahoo16-05-2025
On today's General Hospital recap:
Kristina tells Dante she happened to be driving by and saw the accident. Rocco gets home and Dante wants all the information from the beach party. Rocco goes through the events. When Dante brings up Gio, Rocco tells him that he had nothing to do with it. Rocco begs Dante not to be upset with Gio, but Dante says Gio was the adult and should have called him. Rocco continues to try and defend Gio, but Dante's not hearing it, repeating Gio should have called him. He says after losing Sam, he can't think about losing his only child.
Chase finds Brook Lynn upset, and she tells him it's her son's birthday today. She admits she dreams about him all the time and would give anything to meet him. Brook Lynn says it's up to her son to want to find her and maybe it's a good thing he hasn't reached out.
Donna stops rehearsing for the Nurse's Ball, to listen to Gio practice the violin and makes small talk. Donna mentions her birthday in September and when prompted, Gio tells her that his is June 4th. To herself, Lois wishes him a happy birthday today.
Lois runs into Chase at the boathouse, and he knows she's there because it's her grandchild's birthday. Lois remembers that day, Brook Lynn giving birth and giving up the baby and how incredible she was. Chase commends Lois for helping Brook Lynn through it and being so supportive.
Lois mentions Dante and Chase says it's not his secret to tell. He says he's going to stick by Brook Lynn and the decision she made. Lois asks if she made a mistake not convincing Brook Lynn to keep the baby, but Chase says she was so young. Chase reassures Lois she did the right thing.
Sonny talks to Gio, who blames himself for what happened to Rocco. Gio says Rocco was in trouble and he missed it, but thankfully Cody realized it. Sonny says Gio did the best he could at the time, but he says he wishes he could go back and fix it. Sonny says he appreciates what Gio did for Rocco and to call him if there is a next time.
Liz wonders why Lucky is so interested in Ric's car, but he deflects. When Lucas shows up, Lucky is quick to make his exit. Lucas wonders if he interrupted anything sexy, but Liz says what little is happening is scaring her. Liz says she's always been in love with Lucky from the beginning. She wants to think they can actually make it work this time but is still worried about him leaving. Lucas thinks maybe Lucky is ready to settle down, but Liz isn't so certain.
Ric wants more money from Alexis, but she points out this is embezzlement and if they get caught, they all go to prison. She offers him an out but Ric's not taking it.
Alexis has court documents allowing her access to the storage where the car is being hidden. When she gets there, the place is empty but a note for her that reads "looking for something?" Lucky shows up, saying he tracked Ric's car here, but it looks like it's been moved. Alexis asks why he was looking for Ric's car. Lucky says he knows the brake line was cut and they both know about Kristina.
Lucky says he's known since the night of the accident and explains about following Kristina to the crash site. He says the impound lot told him the car was crushed but Ric told Liz today the insurance company had it. Lucky wants to know why Ric is lying.
Lucky says he's protected Kristina as best as he could, including lying to Liz and feels he has a right to know what's going on. Alexis says Ava and Ric have the car and have footage of Kristina with the car and are blackmailing her. She says they'll make sure Kristina is charged and convicted of attempted murder.
Cody overhears Lulu on the phone talking about adoption and questions her since he knows Tracy told her to stop. Lulu tells him to back off, but Cody says she's digging around in Brook Lynn's business and it's not cool. He wants the truth from her, so Lulu tells him Brook Lynn had Dante's baby and gave him up.
Cody thought she had terminated the pregnancy and is surprised to hear there is a child. Lulu admits she got the information from Martin's notes and Brook Lynn confirmed it. He's surprised Brook Lynn kept it a secret and Lulu says she believes Dante needs to know he has a son out there. Cody says he's been lied to his whole life and agrees with Lulu that Dante needs to be told (you just knew that if she spoke with enough people, she'd find the one who would make it ok for her to spill the beans)
Lulu gets a call back about the adoption agency and tells Cody they closed down in 1987, which means Brook Lynn didn't put the baby with them. Lulu says she believes Brook Lynn has known all along where her son is and tells Cody she believes it's Gio.

The two argue back and forth, blaming each other until Gio breaks it up. Lulu is quick to point the finger at Brook Lynn and claims it was payback. She says she'll never forgive Brook Lynn and storms off. Brook Lynn swears to Gio she never meant to hurt Rocco, but he doesn't understand why she did it. Alexis says she understands why Kristina did what she did and is trying to keep her out of prison. Kristina wonders if she went too far and if Alexis can't see past it but she says she loves her daughter. Kristina brings up her plan to have Cody seduce Ava away from Ric, and Alexis is all for it. Ric heads to the gallery to complain about missing money from the Cayman accounts and how Ava shouldn't be throwing the money around. He says they have to work together but Ava says he's been spending time with Liz and lying about it. The two argue about the money and Ric isn't happy when Cody shows up to do some handywork. While preparing to hang lights, Cody leans in for a kiss with Ava, but she pulls away. She says it can never happen again, and he apologizes for misreading the signs. Sasha searches the house for the baby then tells Michael she's missing. Olivia reassures Sasha while Ned and Micheal check the house and grounds. Chase shows up and questions everyone. Olivia finds the baby in the living room, but Sasha swears someone took Daisy out of her crib. Olivia blames sleepless nights and hormones, but Sasha disagrees. Chase says he spoke with all the staff, and no one saw anything suspicious and says there were no signs of forced entry. Olivia tells Michael that Sasha might need to see a doctor for postpartum depression. Sasha tells Michael she wants the crib moved into her room because she needs to protect the baby. Chase tells Michael that Sasha might be jumping in the shadows. Nina is concerned when Willow is late meeting her at the pool. When Willow shows up, she claims to have been distracted by Drew. My Crush, the Rocco Wine Fridge, Is $200 Off for Prime Day

is the commerce writer at Eater, and an award-winning writer with bylines in GQ, VICE, The Daily Beast, and other publications. A curious home cook with a deep love of Polish cabbage rolls, her devotion to food service journalism knows no bounds. My biggest pick-me trait, at least in the realm of clout-worthy kitchen appliances, is my unabashed love for the Rocco Super Smart Fridge. You may have seen its sleek ads splashed across Instagram, or caught wind of the company's collaboration with Las Jaras (the wine company of Joel Burt and comedian Eric Wareheim) last fall. But its luxury price tag has been angelically reduced by $200 for Prime Day, making it feel even more within my grasp — even if it might be in a Gollum-sure-loves-his-Malbec-chilled kind of way, and now every colorway, including a limited edition 'subway orange,' inspired by the soon-to-be-replaced NYC subway seats, is on sale: Behold, the luxury Rocco wine fridge All of these wine fridges are just fine, but they would hardly inspire me to pen handsome love letters and ship myself by boat à la Nosferatu the way the Rocco wine fridge does. This fridge is expensive, no doubt about it. But the price tag seems less and less outlandish the more I begin to reframe the purchase as not just a large kitchen appliance (as well as one that can free up space in my full-sized refrigerator) but an actual, 10-year-warranty-protected piece of designer furniture. I've never craved the aesthetic presence of a wine fridge in my living room before because, frankly, most of them are tolerable eyesores; they're either chrome or black plastic, and/or illuminated with some kind of tacky blue lighting that should be reserved for the overhead lights on a JetBlue plane. By contrast, the Rocco fridge cuts a sleek mid-century-modern silhouette with a UV-reeded, come-hither glass door. There's also a dedicated tray/bar cart space atop the fridge, which reminds me of the retro-futuristic Vitra wall organizers, and helps transform the piece from a garage-destined appliance to living room clout-piece. Then there are the truly nerdy specs [opens trenchcoat]; According to the Rocco website, the fridge can handle 27 bottles of Bordeaux, 88 cans, or a mixture of both. There are also dual temperature zones that you can control via a smartphone app, and which can also give you a Big Brother-style cam view of the inside of your fridge — the latter of which is not something I need, but sure is something I would use to humble a Dimes Square-based skater with a trust fund. I could go on, but I have to go count the change in my Acorns account. But if you bring home a Rocco fridge first, at least invite me over for a splash of something swanky? The Rocco Super Smart Fridge is on sale here. Check out more of Eater's Amazon Prime Day coverage here.

Loyalties are tested, secrets surface, and everyone is wondering just how far Sonny Corinthos will go. After all, Port Charles is reeling from a night of fire, death, and emotional reckoning. Here's a recap and all the spoilers for the July 2 episode. Emma enjoys time with her dog, Outback, when Gio confronts her, accusing the pup of stealing his shoes. She suggests the real issue might be Gio's unresolved feelings about his parents. Though he admits he's struggling, he's not ready to open up. Gio shocks Emma by revealing that he's dropping out of PCU and forfeiting his first-chair violin scholarship. Emma urges him to reconsider. She eventually convinces him to hold off on quitting and instead focus on a new passion—like helping her expose Dalton's illegal animal testing. At Charlie's, Joss vents to Vaughn about how Sonny's legacy of violence keeps putting her loved ones in danger. Eventually, she reveals that the real reason she joined the WSB is her plan to rise through the ranks and take Sonny down. Sidwell claims that all evidence from the fire at Charlie's points to Selina and her associates. Selina realizes she's been set up and insists Sonny would believe her. Sidwell warns that he won't give her a chance to explain and forces her to leave town until he eliminates Sonny. At the hospital, Kristina rests while Alexis urges her to stay overnight. They reflect on Marco saving her life, and Alexis admits she would've killed Sonny herself if Kristina hadn't made it. Molly and Kristina bond as Molly praises how she handled Alexis during the confrontation with Sonny. Marco is devastated over Natalia's death and confides in Lucas.
