Orlando Pirates youngsters Mbekezeli Mbokazi and Mohau Nkota are set to make their international debuts after being named in the Bafana Bafana squad for upcoming friendlies.
It's been a rollercoaster season for teenager Mbokazi, who played his first senior game for the club just this year. Nkota has also received a nod from coach Hugo Broos after impressing for Ezikamagebhula.
Also receiving their maiden call-ups were Simphiwe Selepe and Deano Van Rooyen, who also play for Orlando Pirates. In total, nine players from Pirates were selected for the friendlies.
Players from Betway Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns were not considered. Abafana beStyle are currently set to take part in the second leg of the CAF Champions League final this weekend and will be in the United States next month to play in the FIFA Club World Cup.

Percy Tau makes shock Orlando Pirates admission
Bafana winger Percy Tau is a free agent after leaving Qatar SC. New developments see him linked with Kaizer Chiefs or Orlando Pirates. 31-year-old Tau is expected to return to the PSL. Former club Sundowns are also in the frame to seal his signature. Former Sundowns, Brighton and Anderlecht winger could be in line for a return to South African football. Orlando Pirates signings: Two midfielders, full-back and attacker
Orlando Pirates supporters have said goodbye to Innocent Maela , Miguel Timm , Thabiso Monyane and Paseka Mako – but that's not all. Orlando Pirates are said to have completed four new signings, subject to official announcements after the transfer window opens on 1 July. Two central midfielders, a left-back and attacking midfielder will be wearing the famous black and white for the first time in the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season.
