Thirty outstanding Qatari students participated in the first summer course launched by the Al Noor Quranic Educational Centre, affiliated with the Department of Da'wa and Religious Guidance at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.
The course aims to enhance the level of the Holy Quran memorisation and develop participants' educational and academic skills during the summer vacation.
The three-week course focuses on the Holy Quran memorisation, with each student memorising two pages per day, along with daily review of previously memorised Quran.
The course is part of an integrated educational programme that encompasses Quranic concepts, practical worship, vocal skills, sports activities, and recreational and educational trips.
The programme also features courses in various fields, including cybersecurity, as well as chanting sessions and training on performing the call to prayer.

The course is part of the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs' efforts, represented by the Department of Da'wah and Religious Guidance, to utilise the summer vacation to offer quality programmes aimed at building a generation aware of its religious and moral values, and qualified to perform the duties of imams, preachers, and religious guidance in the future.
A number of participating students expressed their satisfaction with the opportunities the course provided to enhance their memorisation and review of the Holy Quran and learn new skills.
They praised the ministry's significant role in organising such quality courses during the summer vacation.
