Playing in a lottery syndicate multiplies your entries without multiplying your out-of-pocket cost. By pooling resources, you can access dozens or even hundreds of tickets per draw, compared to a single entry on your own. This dramatically boosts your chance of matching numbers against overall odds of 1 in 290.4 million for Mega Millions. And you don't need to be a U.S. resident or citizen to win: U.S. lotteries permit foreign players to win, provided tickets are purchased legally in a selling jurisdiction.
