Sheraton Cascais' garden is transformed into an open-air cinema
Doors open at 8pm so you can soak up the last rays of sun beneath the pines, and the Cine Society screenings – which also run in Lisbon at the Carmo Rooftop and by the river at Doca da Marinha – begin at 9pm (except for the final date, when it all kicks off an hour earlier). Tickets cost €14.50 and include cosy blankets for those cooler nights.
There's also a special film-friendly menu at the Glass restaurant: popcorn (€4), candy floss (€3.50), hot dogs (€4), mini steak sandwiches (€7), mini burgers (€7) and lupins (€4). Wash it all down with a glass of wine or sangria (€6) or warm up with a hot chocolate (€3).
And there's more where that came from – Sheraton Cascais isn't skimping on summer specials. The hotel's much-loved Pool Brunch is back: think lazy Sunday mornings that flow straight into afternoons by the pool. It's €75 per adult and €37.50 for children aged 4–12. On Saturdays, the Summer & Fitness experience kicks off with an outdoor pilates session, followed by a wholesome brunch and a stress-free swim with no time limit – all for €79. And if you're planning a day out with the kids, the Family Pool package includes pool access and lunch for two adults and two children for €190 (Monday to Friday only).

She swept her brunette hair into relaxed waves, showcasing her natural beauty and blue eyes similar to her famous father. Ella, whose mother is the late Kelly Preston, flashed a smile to the camera as she proved a pro with her poses. She has followed in her parents' footsteps, with roles in movies Old Dogs, Eye For An Eye, Get Lost and Extra. Yet she has also branched out and forged a career in the modelling and music industries. Colors of Love singer Ella posted a link to her new track to her Instagram page, where one fan gushed her vocals were "sweet, pure and like an angel." FAMILY AFFAIR Meanwhile, Scientologist Ella often posts videos and pictures of her father, 71, on social media. The model is extremely close with her dad and younger brother Ben, 14, after a series of heartbreaking loses. When she was just nine years old, her older brother, Jett, passed away after suffering a seizure. Then, in 2020, she endured another heartbreaking loss when her mother, actress Kelly Preston, died of breast cancer. John Travolta pays tribute to late wife Kelly Preston on Mother's Day 4 years after her death as fans left in tears In February, Ella posted a tribute to John as he turned 71. She uploaded a throwback snap showing her as a child sharing time with him and the words: "Happy birthday to the kindest, most loving, special person I know. I love you so much." Ella previously opened up on living with her famous father and told Hello! Magazine: "I recently binge watched all of his movies just again as well. "Which was really cool and really fun to just watch everything in a new period of time." MODEL DAUGHTER John Travolta's daughter, Ella Bleu, has just signed with Storm Models in London, the same agency that famously discovered Kate back in 1988 at the tender age of 14. Ella's new agent, Paula Karaiskos, confirmed the exciting news, expressing her enthusiasm about representing the 24-year-old in the UK. Announcing the signing on social media, Paula wrote, "She has an advertising campaign launching this spring, as well as a new film this summer. Watch this space!" Ella's career has been on the rise, and her father couldn't be prouder. Sharing a photo of her attending New York Fashion Week, John wrote, "So proud of Ella's debut at fashion week in New York City." Speaking about her journey into fashion, Ella explained, "I like it because it is very creative. When I was a child, like many others, I liked to wear makeup, dress up in different clothes... When I grew up, I stopped paying attention to it." In an interview with Spanish magazine Mujerhoy, she added, "But then I became interested in it again in a different way, more out of admiration for creativity." 7 California-born Ella has carved out careers in the music, modelling and acting industries Credit: Getty 7 Her mum is the late Kelly Preston Credit: Reuters

A family friendly heist movie about a crew of lovable rogues, it smartly used all the tricks of a good con artist movie to serve up an amusing message about not judging books by their covers. The Bad Guys 2 | Contributed Set a few years on, The Bad Guys 2 recaptures that vibe, picking up the action as Mr Wolf (Sam Rockwell), Tarantula (Awkwafina), Shark (Craig Robinson) and Snake (Marc Maron) wrestle with the down-to-earth tedium of now being the Good Guys in a world that's reluctant to give them a second chance. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Struggling to find work and bored with a life devoid of car chases and danger, they soon find themselves framed for a series of robberies and decide to use their criminal expertise to prove their innocence and catch the real crooks. Where the first film took its breezy stylistic cues from Ocean's Eleven, the new one kicks the action up a ridiculous notch or two with some old school Bond-style villainy involving rockets to space and obligatory pops at the tech oligarchy. It also makes room for some husky-voiced hilarity from the ubiquitous Natasha Lyonne, cast here as the ominously named Doom, the not-quite-what-she-seems avian romantic interest for Snake who also just happens to be part of an all-female-crew of criminals trying to lure the Bad Guys out of retirement.
