The shiny Mercedes-Benz coupe is the latest in a spate of vehicles to get caught by the tide on the beauty spot beach.
Several vehicles have succumbed to the sea already this year despite repeated warnings to steer clear.
The Merc was stuck and partially submerged for two days as its owners waited around for a low tide to try and retrieve it.
Only a fortnight earlier, an Audi met a similar fate at the opposite end of the beach near Porthmadog.

Whilst the strandings are a nightmare for the drivers, they at least provide some amusement and interest for beach regulars.
One revealed it is a common occurrence, saying: "I've lost count of how many
cars
have done this on Blackrock."
Someone else quipped on social media: "Oops. Try and explain that to the insurance company because it won't cover stupidity."
Another wrote: "What an absolute plonker."

The amount he eventually paid out - taking into account s fees, van depreciation and the hire of the temporary vehicle - was several thousand more than the £39,000 he paid for the vehicle just months before.
On January 31 2023, he was told in an email that the van was stuck and a new lifting platform would take 40 weeks to fit and repair, reports
In the meantime, Mark hired a van for £800 a month.
Early last year he said he was informed repairs were unlikely until May and that any losses would be recovered by whoever had overall responsibility.

Mark told the newspaper: "Every time we thought we would get close to the date when we thought we could get the van back they pushed it back."
He added: "I've had a great amount of frustration over it and a great amount of anxiety over it, we haven't been able to grow our business because we literally cannot afford to put any more money into the business."

‘We will only be there if things like today continue to happen' – George Russell knows only way he can compete in F1

Russell won from pole position at the Canadian Grand Prix to claim his first triumph of the year and just the fourth of his career. The British driver has been one of the grid's standout performers this season, and his win in Montreal takes him to 62 points behind championship leader Piastri. Runner-up Max Verstappen is 43 points off the championship pace. After the race, Verstappen's Red Bull team protested Russell's 'erratic and unsportsmanlike' driving behind the safety car, deployed following Piastri's late collision with Norris, with both drivers summoned to see the stewards. But the case was dismissed five hours after the race ended as Russell held on to his victory. 'I don't know how both Max and I are so close to those two [Norris and Piastri] in the championship because McLaren clearly have the dominant car,' said Russell. 'I cannot imagine they will keep throwing away points in the manner that they are doing, but of course, we hope that continues to be the case. 'I don't foresee us getting in the championship fight through pure pace as Lando did last year. We will only be there if things like today continue to happen.' As it stands, Russell is out of contract at the end of the season with Mercedes boss Toto Wolff having previously stated he has explored Verstappen's availability. But when asked if his performance here will help him get his next deal with Mercedes over the line, Russell, 27, continued: 'It doesn't hurt at all. 'I am not concerned about next year. I know I am going to be on the grid. I feel I am driving better than ever. I have got more in the tank and I am ready to fight for a world championship. 'I am not talking with anybody else, and any teams that have shown interest I have been quite open to them to say to them that my intention is to stay with Mercedes. 'That has always been clear. I am loyal to Mercedes. They gave me this chance to get into Formula One. And there hasn't been any hard feelings with any of the talks going round, especially around Max because why wouldn't teams be interested in Max? 'If every driver did not have a contract for next year, Max would be the number one of every single team and that is understandable. 'But here are two seats for every race team and I knew if I would continue to perform as I am doing I would not be under threat. I am in a good place and there is in no rush to do contract negotiations.'

Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri collide as George Russell triumphs at Canadian GP

Lando Norris crashed out of the Canadian Grand Prix following a sensational 200mph collision with McLaren team-mate and championship rival Oscar Piastri. As George Russell delivered a faultless drive to win from pole position ahead of Red Bull rival Max Verstappen, Norris banged into the back of Piastri as they duelled for fourth place with three laps to go. Norris attempted to pass Piastri across the start-finish line but he misjudged the move and hit his team-mate's car. GEORGE RUSSELL WINS IN CANADA! 👏🏆 A controlled victory for the Mercedes driver who withstands the pressure from Max Verstappen behind 💪#F1 #CanadianGP — Formula 1 (@F1) June 15, 2025 Norris was forced to park his damaged McLaren and immediately accepted blame for the incident. 'It is all my bad,' he said on the radio 'All my fault. Unlucky. Stupid from me.' The race ended behind the safety car with Kimi Antonelli taking third place – his first podium in Formula One – to complete a strong afternoon for Mercedes. Piastri was able to continue to cross the line in fourth and extend his championship lead from 10 points to 22. Following their collision at the last round in Spain, all eyes were on pole-sitter Russell and second-placed Verstappen at the start in Montreal. Russell's reaction time was quicker than Verstappen's, and by the time they arrived for the opening left-right chicane, he was comfortably ahead. Even Verstappen, not adverse to a bold move, was unable to do anything to challenge Russell and the Mercedes man led. Verstappen kept him honest for the opening handful of laps but by the start of the sixth lap, Russell was more than a second ahead, and crucially out of DRS range. Russell, centre right, celebrates his victory (Christinne Muschi/AP) Further back, and Piastri had lost a place to Antonelli on the first lap. Music to the ears of Norris, who made two mistakes in qualifying to start the 10th round of the campaign four places behind his title rival. Norris was on the move on lap 11 to take Fernando Alonso on the back straight for sixth before sailing clear of Lewis Hamilton four laps later. Hamilton endured another poor afternoon after he sustained damage to his Ferrari after he hit a groundhog before taking the chequered flag in sixth. Norris started on the hard tyre compound which allowed him to run longer in the race and he assumed the lead on lap 16. 'We need one of those amazing races from you,' said his engineer, Will Joseph. Norris relinquished the lead on lap 29 when he eventually stopped. His second stint on the medium tyres lasted only 16 laps and he when he rejoined the track after his second stop, Piastri was 4.2 seconds up the road. With 11 laps to go, Norris had reduced the deficit to less than a second, and after a few nibbles, he launched his McLaren underneath Piastri at the hairpin. Norris made the move stick only for Piastri to draw back alongside him as they headed to the final chicane. Piastri held the inside line ahead of Norris to take back the position. Norris sensed another opportunity on the run down to the first corner but he thudded into his team-mate to deal a blow to his championship hopes. Russell's win, his first since Las Vegas in November, takes him to within 62 points of Piastri. 'It is amazing to be back on the top step,' Russell said. 'We took the victory following an incredible pole lap (on Saturday).'
