Seahawks all-time record vs AFC North: updated for 2025

USA Today03-07-2025
For the past two years, we at Seahawks Wire have been tracking the Seattle Seahawks' all-time records against every team in the NFL. It is important, we feel, to keep an updated log of Seattle's history and how they stack up with other squads in the league. We are resuming this ongoing series with updated records headed into the 2025 season.
We are nearing completion in this series. We have covered all NFC divisions - West, East, South and North - and have taken care of both the AFC South and the AFC East. Now we turn our attention towards the AFC North, a division the Seahawks were most recently paired against during the 2023 season.
Baltimore Ravens
All-time record: Baltimore leads the series 4-3
Longest win streak: the Seahawks won three-straight games from December 2007 to December 2015. These are the only three wins against the Ravens franchise.
Most recent outcome: November 5th, 2023 - this was not a 5th of November to remember for the Seahawks, as they were blown out of the water 37-3 by the Ravens in Baltimore.
Cincinnati Bengals
All-time record: Cincinnati leads the series 12-10
Longest win streak: both teams have won three-straight against each other, but Cincinnati has done it twice.. The Bengals won the first three meetings between September 1977 and December 1982, then again between November 1986 and December 1988. Meanwhile the Seahawks won their three-in-a-row between December 1989 and October 1991.
Most recent outcome: October 15th, 2023 - the Bengals outlast the Seahawks 17-13 at home. Seattle's final four drives of the game ended in: an interception, a punt, and back-to-back turnover on downs within Cincinnati's 10-yard line.
Cleveland Browns
All-time record: Seattle leads the series 14-6
Longest win streak: the Seahawks won four-straight games between October 1983 and October 1988
Most recent outcome: October 29th, 2023 - the Seahawks survive an upset bid from the Browns at Lumen Field with a 24-20 victory. Seattle had built a 17-7 lead in the first quarter, but found themselves trailing 20-17 late. Geno Smith orchestrated a game-winning drive with only 0:38 seconds left in the contest.
Pittsburgh Steelers
All-time record: Pittsburgh leads the series 11-10
Longest win streak: Pittsburgh won three-straight from February 2006 to September 2011. This miserable stretch included the Super Bowl XL travesty and two shutout road losses.
Most recent outcome: December 31st, 2023 - Seattle's playoff hopes were effectively ripped away from them as the Steelers escaped Lumen Field with a 30-23 road win. Pittsburgh racked up 202 rushing yards as the Seahawks could not slow their offense down.

NFL analyst Daniel Jeremiah gushes over Seahawks' potential in 2025

The Seattle Seahawks are an unknown commodity entering the 2025 season. A new starting quarterback, offensive coordinator, and massive personnel changes make them unpredictable. Thus far, the early returns at training camp and throughout the preseason have been incredibly promising. Buyer beware of putting too much stock into the preseason, but Klint Kubiak's offense looked incredible in the Week 2 exhibition beatdown of the Kansas City Chiefs. Quarterback Sam Darnold looks comfortable. The run-heavy approach has generated explosive runs. NFL analyst Daniel Jeremiah recently made an appearance on the popular Pat McAfee Show. Jeremiah gushed about the Seahawks' potential in 2025. "I really like what I've seen," Jeremiah responded to a question about the Seahawks. "Klint Kubiak and that system fits Sam Darnold perfectly. Sam looks confident and comfortable. They upgraded that offensive line. Grey Zabel has probably been the best rookie in the preseason. I love what they've [Seahawks] done [this offseason]. I'm high on them. I think they have a good shot to win that division." Kubiak and Darnold have been an excellent fit thus far. The Seahawks are trending in the appropriate direction, with Week 1 fast approaching. It's wonderful to hear a plugged-in analyst like Jeremiah gush over the Seahawks' 2025 potential.

Looking at top performances by Trojans in NFL preseason Week 2

This weekend marks Week 2 of the NFL preseason. As the regular season continues to get closer, teams are starting to play their regulars more. Meanwhile, guys on roster bubbles are still looking to prove that they belong in the league. Several former USC players in both of these categories made headlines over the weekend. Let's take a look at some of the top performances by Trojans in preseason Week 2. Caleb Williams In his first action of the preseason Sunday, Williams looked impressive. He completed six of his 10 pass attempts for 31 yards, including a 36-yard touchdown pass to Olamide Zaccheus. Brandon Pili After spending the past two seasons with the Miami Dolphins, Pili is now with the Seattle Seahawks. In Friday's preseason game, he made a huge play, bringing down Kansas City Chiefs running back Elijah Mitchell for a safety. Woody Marks After a rough preseason debut last week, Marks was better on Saturday, carrying the ball seven times for 40 yards. In a funny twist, Marks shared a backfield with former USC quarterback Kedon Slovis, who played for the Trojans from 2019-2021 before finishing his college career at Pitt and BYU. Isaiah Pola-Mao Peter Carroll's defense seems to be treating the Las Vegas Raiders safety well thus far. He recorded four tackles in Saturday's game against the San Francisco 49ers. Tahj Washington After an impressive performance last week, the Miami Dolphins wide receiver had another solid day against the Detroit Lions Saturday. He the game finished with four catches for 33 yards. This article originally appeared on Trojans Wire: Top performances by USC football standouts in NFL preseason Week 2
