Look: Davante Adams in his full Rams uniform for the first time
Davante Adams signed with the Los Angeles Rams earlier this offseason after being released by the New York Jets and he's done nothing but heap praise on his new team for the fresh start he's gotten back home in California. He's poised for a big year alongside Puka Nacua, especially with a quarterback like Matthew Stafford throwing him the ball.
Adams and his Rams teammates have been working through OTAs for a few weeks now and on Wednesday, he put on his full uniform for the first time. It was part of the Rams' media day shoot, giving fans a first look at Adams in his No. 17 jersey with Jordans on his feet and a smoke visor on his helmet.
Take a look at the veteran receiver in royal and yellow for the first time.
It won't be long before Adams is in pads and a practice jersey for training camp. Soon after that, he'll be taking the field on Sundays at SoFi Stadium for the Rams.
With Adams in the picture, it should be a big year for Los Angeles' offense after some sluggish performances last season.

The list of Notre Dame football's official visitors starting on June 13th, 2025
The list of Notre Dame football's official visitors starting on June 13th, 2025 This weekend is shaping up to be a big one for Notre Dame football, as it will be hosting multiple prospects for official visits. Some of them have already committed to the Irish, while others will make their decisions soon after their trips to South Bend. It's great to see that the 2026 class is so tight, and their dedication to getting some of the best players nationally stands out. Find out below who Notre Dame football is hosting this weekend on official visits, and how each of their recruitments are going. (Note: The official visitors is according to 247Sports along with the recruiting rankings.) Safety Joey O'Brien We noted earlier this week that O'Brien will indeed be on campus this weekend, and he's one of the most coveted recruits in the country. The 6-foot, 3-inch and 185-pound safety is the No. 65 overall recruit, and will be making his commitment on June 20th between Penn State, Oregon, Clemson and the Irish. Cornerback Khary Adams Another top prospect, Adams isn't getting the hype prior to the visit that he deserves. As the nation's No. 75 overall prospect, he's clearly one of the best nationally. The 6-foot, 2-inch and 175-pound corner has yet to make a commitment date, but it does look like Oregon, Michigan, South Carolina, Penn State and Notre Dame are the main players. Wide receiver Kaydon Finley One of the Irish's top remaining wide receiver targets, Finley is closing on a July 4th decision. As the country's No. 110 overall player, he would add to a solid group currently committed to Notre Dame. Adams at 6-foot and 200-pounds, is also considering Texas, Texas A&M, and Arizona State. Running back commit Jonaz Walton The first of many current commitments on this list, Walton joined Notre Dame's class last month. At 5-foot, 10-inches and 205-pounds, he's got great size at the running back position. Walton is ranked as the No. 125 overall player in the class. Offensive line commit Gregory Patrick Patrick joined the Irish class in mid-April, giving them yet another recruiting win in the state of Michigan. At 6-foot, 5-inches and 275-pounds, he's got the size and frame to be a great right tackle and also play on the left side if needed. Patrick is ranked as the No. 179 overall player. Linebacker commitment Thomas Davis Jr. While his father's alma mater Georgia is pressing for a flip, Davis looks like he's locked in to play for Notre Dame. That's great news as he's the No. 193 prospect and has NFL bloodlines. This visit will go a long way in sealing the deal with the talented linebacker. Offensive tackle Grayson McKeogh At 6-foot, 7-inches and 275-pounds, McKeogh has the look of an elite left tackle. He's not quite ranked as one as the No. 262 overall prospect, but that doesn't matter to Notre Dame. McKeogh is also considering Texas and Penn State, who will get official visits after this weekends trip to South Bend. Defensive line commit Tiki Hola Hola committed just over a month ago to Notre Dame, and he's making his return this weekend. The 6-foot, 2-inch and 285-pound lineman looks like he's going to start his career on the inside. Hola is ranked as the No. 328 overall prospect in the 2026 class. Running back DeZephen Walker Another visitor who doesn't have much hype surrounding him, but should is Walker. Notre Dame is battling Nebraska, Kansas State and Kansas for his commitment, but he's already visited the Wildcats and Jayhawks. The nation's No. 370 players will visit the Cornhuskers next weekend, and could be nearing a decision. Wide receiver Devin Fitzgerald The relationship between his father, Pittsburgh and Arizona Cardinal legend Larry, is one of the edges that Notre Dame has in Devin's recruitment. He's the bigger receiver that this class is missing at 6-foot, 2-inches and 195-pounds. The younger Fitzgerald is also considering Stanford, Clemson, UCLA, Arizona State and North Carolina, with a July 5th commitment date. Tight end Preston Fryzel Fryzel's recruitment is trending Notre Dame's way, he was recently predicted to land in South Bend. He'll do that this weekend, as the Ohio native won't travel far to see the Irish. He's the nation's No. 882 prospect, and is also looking at Iowa, Minnesota and Duke as other options. Quarterback commit Noah Grubbs This one is cheating a bit as Grubbs started his official on Thursday, but it's important regardless. There isn't any doubt that he is wavering, it's more that he's in town to try and help recruit along with getting to know his future teammate better. Grubbs is 6-foot, 4-inches and 205-pounds, ranked as the country's No. 174 player.

Michigan Panthers QBs drawing on Super Bowl experience ahead of UFL championship
Michigan Panthers QBs drawing on Super Bowl experience ahead of UFL championship Show Caption Hide Caption Ashton Jeanty talks all things Las Vegas Raiders and his hopes in the NFL Ashton Jeanty spoke with USA TODAY Sports about his upcoming rookie season with the Raiders and his partnership with Sharpie. Sports Seriously Michigan Panthers quarterbacks Bryce Perkins and Danny Etling are looking to lead Michigan to its first spring-league championship since the team was reborn as part of the 2022 USFL reboot. Both players are drawing upon their experience winning at the highest level as they look to take down the DC Defenders. Perkins and Etling both enjoyed multi-year NFL careers during which they were part of Super Bowl-winning teams. Etling's title came during his rookie season with the New England Patriots in 2018 while Perkins' came in his second season with the Los Angeles Rams in 2021. While neither Perkins nor Etling played in the respective Super Bowls their team won, each explained that being part of a championship winner has helped them in their quest for a UFL championship. "It allows you to understand what it takes to keep playing on after the regular season," Perkins told USA TODAY. "Keep playing in the playoffs." What Bryce Perkins learned from Rams Super Bowl The UFL playoffs are different in structure from the NFL's. Teams need to win two games in the UFL postseason to take home a championship while NFL squads need at least three victories to hoist the Lombardi Trophy. However, the UFL's schedule ensures that teams meeting in each conference championship are playing each other for a third time. That challenge is something Perkins learned a lot about with the Rams. Los Angeles played the San Francisco 49ers three times – twice in the regular season and in the NFC championship game – on their path to winning Super Bowl 56. The Rams lost both of their regular-season games to the 49ers before beating them in the playoffs. The Panthers did the same against the Birmingham Stallions during the 2025 UFL season, losing twice to their rival before earning a 44-29 win in the USFL Conference championship game. Perkins' experience with the Rams gave him confidence he could help the Panthers figure out a way to beat the Stallions. "(You) kind of understand how to play your opponent and how to really just keep executing on the things that you think you may notice," Perkins said of a third matchup. "Just a dedication in the execution level that it takes to go and perform as it gets late in the season." In Perkins' opinion, executing required the Panthers to win the one-on-one battles and be the aggressor. He felt they were able to achieve that in earning coach Mike Nolan his first win over the Stallions in his seventh try. "No matter who it was, it was going to be sweet, because it's a testament to how hard we work and the progression we've made throughout the year getting better and better," Perkins said of beating Birmingham in the USFL Conference championship. UFL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME: How to watch Panthers vs. Defenders What Danny Etling learned from Patriots Super Bowl Progression was a key theme Etling witnessed in his championship season with the Patriots. "My championship with the Patriots was all about peaking at the right time, getting the timely wins, learning about our team," Etling said. "We had all types of issues early on in the year." New England got off to a rocky 1-2 start to the 2018 season with road losses to the Jacksonville Jaguars and Detroit Lions. The Patriots came under fire for their shortcomings, with Etling noting the team's defense having a particularly troubling start to the season. However, Bill Belichick's unit enjoyed a strong midseason turnaround and managed to scrape together an 11-5 record. They ultimately performed well in the postseason and held the Rams to just three points in Super Bowl 53, tying the Miami Dolphins' record-low scoring output in Super Bowl 6. Witnessing that about-face gave Etling a conclusion he has carried with him throughout his professional career. "It doesn't really matter how you start the season," Etling said. "It's all about how you finish. It's all about the improvement you make throughout the year." Etling believes the Panthers have put those marginal improvements on display throughout the 2025 UFL season. In particular, they were clearly visible in each of the games leading up to their big win over the Stallions. Now, Michigan will try to continue to make minor tweaks as Perkins and Etling look to add another championship to their respective ledgers. "Just the little changes we make and the failures along the way throughout the season, they only make it better," Etling said, describing the Panthers' run to the UFL championship game. "It's all culminating to this Saturday, and making sure that you go out and execute and learn from those mistakes. That's been what our season's been about."

Sauce Gardner says new Jets coaches trying to get 'perfection' out of him is what he needs
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — Sauce Gardner is trying to cook up an even better version of himself this season for the New York Jets . And the star cornerback's new defensive coordinator is pushing him to get there. 'It's so many things that I feel like Sauce can do,' Steve Wilks said during the Jets' three-day minicamp this week. 'Again, the word 'consistent.' He's been a Pro Bowl player. How consistent can he be to take it to another level? And that's one of the things that I challenged him Day 1 when we had our conversation.'
