Lady Donaldson health report due to be completed next week
Lady Donaldson's lawyer informed judge Paul Ramsey that a psychiatrist's report would "hopefully" be obtained on Monday.The court was also told an application will be made to obtain records from Craigavon Area Hospital.The case is to reviewed again on 11 September, when neither accused is required to attend.
Sir Jeffrey, 62, is accused of 18 offences, including one count of rape.Lady Donaldson faces five charges relating to aiding and abetting.The offences were allegedly committed between 1985 and 2008.The trial was due to have taken place in March, but has been put back due to Lady Donaldson's health.

This is the horrifying moment a thug smashed in to a peacemaker who was trying to break up a fight, leaving him with a traumatic brain injury. Hugh Raymond Holmes, 35, got into a fight in Ferryhill, County Durham, which involved several men and women on the day he left jail for a separate offence. Following a large altercation involving several people, a local waded in to the argument and attempted to break up the brawl that had already injured several people. The 35-year-old appeared to cool off but then made his way to a car, got behind the wheel and drove in to the innocent neighbour, smashing him in to a parked van. The crash left the peacemaker with traumatic brain injuries and multiple fractured and broken bones. CCTV released by Durham Constabulary shows the shocking moment the local intervened and was brutally attacked in return. Footage shows a fight breaking out between two groups of men and women after one woman mistook another for pulling a face at her in the car as she drove by. The two groups set upon each other with Holmes being initially punched and hitting the floor before being repeatedly kicked. As the two groups of people continue to punch and kick each other, shouting in the residential street, a neighbour comes over and intervenes. He pulls some of those fighting off each other and stops one man from punching Holmes again. According to police the man did not 'hit anyone, he doesn't kick anyone, he doesn't punch anyone. All he does is get in the middle and split everybody up.' The police added that the 'concerned citizen' does not become 'aggressive or violent' at any point. Following the break-up of the fight, Holmes walks over to a parked black car and climbs in before speeding off up the street, turning around and speeding back down again. At high speed Holmes crashed the vehicle straight in to the back of a silver van, crushing the neighbour as one of the others involved in the fight jumps out of the way. Those around scream: 'Watch the car' before Holmes crashes, and continue to scream and shout in shock before rushing to the injured neighbour. Holmes was seen climbing out of the car, casting a quick glance over the scene before walking off in the opposite direction, leaving the neighbour lying on the road. The man suffered a traumatic brain injury, multiple facial fractures and a broken leg requiring surgical screws. He spent months in hospital and is still undergoing treatment. Body worn footage from the scene shows Holmes tell a police officer: 'I wish I was back in jail.' The police officer asks when he was last inside and he replies: 'This morning.' Holmes was arrested and charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm with intent, inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent, disqualified driving, driving with no insurance and refusing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis. Holmes, of Spennymoor, Durham, admitted all charges except causing grievous bodily which he was found guilty of by a jury at Durham Crown Court after 20 minutes of deliberations. He has now been jailed for 18 years and banned from driving for 15 years. The brute had previously been serving a 32 month sentence after crashing a stolen car he had been driving on a bridge of the A1(M) in Durham which left his female passenger seriously hurt. DC Lauren Howe, who led the investigation, said: 'Holmes is a despicable criminal who clearly hadn't learnt any lessons from his previous crime which he had just been released from prison for. 'He left the victim with critical injuries just before Christmas and they continue to have a huge impact on him and his family. 'However, thanks to the bravery of the victim and the whole community pulling together, we were able to gather overwhelming evidence to charge Holmes and put him back before the court. 'We hope putting Holmes back behind bars for a significant amount of time will bring some comfort to the victim who, in his own words, continues to stand tall.'

THIS is the shocking moment a Virgin Atlantic passenger hurled abuse at a hostess he threatened to "gang rape and set alight" Disturbing footage shows Salman Iftikhar, 37, tell stewardess Angie Walsh she would be attacked in her hotel after landing. 7 7 He spouted his vile rant after downing champagne on an eight-hour flight from London Heathrow to Lahore on February 7 2023. Iftikhar said Ms Walsh would be taken from her hotel room, gang raped and set on fire. Another passenger, who filmed the shocking scenes, can be heard saying "holy s--t". Iftikhar repeatedly accuses Ms Walsh of being a racist and says: "You called me a p-ki in front of everybody." The 37-year-old had been flying with his wife and three children, Isleworth Crown Court heard. Prosecuting, Abdul Kapadia, said: "During the defendant's first meal service, the defendant was seen helping himself to ice, leaning over the bar he was drinking at, and taking ice with his hands. "When told to stop, the defendant became irate, and started to film cabin crew with his phone, telling them: 'Do not tell me what to do you b***h. "When asked by the cabin crew to return to his seat, he then said: 'Don't tell me what to do you racist f***ing b***h. I know where you are from in Cardiff." Staff alerted the pilot and the seat belt signs were turned on, which only aggravated Iftikhar more. He continued to call Ms Walsh a "f***ing b***h" before his escalating behaviour sparked a possible flight diversion to Turkey. "He was slurring his words, with his voice raised. 7 7 7 "He shouted at the cabin crew: 'Do you know who I am?' "The defendant's wife went to the food bar and tried to talk to cabin crew, but the defendant pushed his wife away, and shouted at her not to talk to crew." He grabbed one flight attendant, called Tommy Merchant, and threatened him with a fight. 'YOU WILL BE DEAD' The out-of-control passenger then told cabin crew he would blow up the floor of their hotel. "The defendant knew the specific hotel, but also the hotel room numbers, and threatened the cabin crew with this," Mr Kapadia told the court. "He told Ms Walsh: 'You will be dead on the floor of your hotel'. "Iftikhar shouted at Ms Walsh and said: 'The white sheep sh**ging b***h will be dead. The floor of your hotel will be blown up and it will disappear. "He told Ms Walsh: 'You will be dragged by your hair from your room and gang raped and set on fire'." His violent rant unfolded in front of his wife and three young children - who were brought to tears. Iftikhar was arrested at his £900,000 detached home in Iver, Bucks, on March 16, 2024. 'IT HAS BROKEN ME' In an impact statement, Ms Walsh said she was forced to take off 14 months and the altercation "changed my life enormously". "I can't quite believe that one passenger has had this much of an impact on my, my job, my career and my life," she said. "I am a strong brave, happy stewardess, and loved my job. I am well known within the company. "But I had to take 14 months off work. "I have been flying with Virgin Atlantic for 37 years. I was working when all flights were grounded on 9/11, and I've even flown into a warzone. But this incident has broken me. "But I don't feel strong enough anymore. I was abused for eight hours and 15 mins. It has broken me. It was a very personal attack. "I was doing everything in my power to protect passengers and the crew from him. I felt exposed and vulnerable, especially as we were 39,000 feet in the air. There was nowhere for me to go. "There was one moment where I felt I could not cope. I went into the cockpit and had a meltdown. I said to the captain I don't know what to do. "Even the threat of diverting the plane to Turkey or Baku, Azerbaijan, had no effect. "I was traumatised by the threat of being gang raped. "Never in my entire career flying for 37 years have I not been sure what to do. "I have had the best career in the world for 37 years. But he has taken that away from me." Iftikhar, of Iver, Bucks, admitted making threats to kill and racially aggravated harassment, in relation to Ms Walsh. He was cleared of assault by beating and threats to kill in relation to Mr Merchant. Ben Walker-Nolan, defending, said Iftikhar was suffering from "amnesia blood loss" at the time. Mr Walker-Nolan added: "Although there were over 100 incidents over the course of eight hours, the most serious, including threats to kill, were limited. "The defendant has buried his head in the sand for a long period, and expressed regret. "He has a long standing drug and alcohol problem which he has not addressed for many years. "He is a successful businessman who employs a lot of people." THUG JAILED Iftikhar has six previous convictions arising from 15 offences, including common assault in 2004 and drink driving in 2008 and failing to stop and possession of cannabis in 2021. Judge Ms Recorder Annabel Darlow KC said: "Your threats to kill were made in the presence of children, specifically your three young children. "These were threats made with significant violence. "Your children had to be comforted by cabin crew staff while you made those threats. "Ms Walsh has given up a job which she has loved for 14 months, but thankfully has now returned to work. "This was a sustained incident which involved repeated racist abuse to Ms Walsh. "You have a lengthy and appalling record of misconduct. You have not addressed the underlying cause of this for many years, that is your drug and alcohol problem. "Given your lifestyle and your ability to earn money, your harm and risk has not moved. "This was an appalling incident which has caused long lasting and devastating consequences." Iftikhar cried in the dock as he was jailed for 15 months. His LinkedIn profile stated that he was the director and founder of recruitment firm Staffing Match. Virgin Atlantic was contacted for comment.

Lee Claydon, 45, is understood to have fallen from the upper tier balcony at the Wembley Stadium concert on Sunday. 3 3 Heartbroken father Clive Claydon, 75, told how his son had been 'super excited' about the gig, for which he bought tickets a year ago. 'He was a lifelong Oasis fan and he was so looking forward to going. Out of all the thousands of people there why's it got to be my son?" He said holding back tears. Speaking at his Bournemouth home, close to where Lee lived his partner and son Harry, Clive said he went to the concert with his brother Aaron and his niece and nephew. He remembered his son as a 'lovely, lovely bloke' who 'no one could say a bad thing about ever." He said: 'He was a hard worker, has been all his life. He loved his kids, he looked after them and his girlfriend. 'He is a real family man; they were supposed to be going on a big family holiday all together in two weeks' time.' 'I don't know how his girlfriend is going to cope; she is really going to struggle without him.' Clive last saw Lee last week and said his son had been talking about the Oasis concert for months. He said: 'I spoke to him at the weekend, and he was talking about it then. I just can't believe it I've had to go to the doctors for tablets today because I am so devastated.' Clive said he had been angered by online comments suggesting Lee may have taken his own life. He said: 'It's disgusting, he did not commit suicide. He had everything to live for. It was nothing to do with drugs, or being drunk either. 'He has never taken drugs in his life and he may have had a beer, who doesn't at a concert, but he certainly was not drunk. 'It was just a pure accident, a horrible accident.' He said the family were now rallying around Lee's partner and children saying: 'We are just doing what we can.
