3 men accused of trying to rob someone at local bank arrested

The incident took place at Huntington Bank at 800 West Wenger Road just before 3 p.m.
Police said they got a call from someone who was reportedly forced to go to the bank and take out a 'large sum of cash.'

Upon arrival, officers saw three men who were allegedly waiting for the victim to come out of the bank with the cash.
The spokesperson said police arrested the three suspects, later identified as Dwayne Mundy, 26, Milione Ball-Murray, 20, and Anthjuan Osborne, 23.
Two of the three suspects had outstanding warrants.
Three guns were reportedly found in the suspects' car, according to the spokesperson.
None of the men went inside the bank during the incident.
The men have since been booked in the Montgomery County Jail on preliminary charges of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and having weapons while under disability.
This incident remains under investigation by the Englewood Police Department and additional charges are pending, the spokesperson said.

‘I miss my community': Acquitted of rape, former Cherokee County teacher wants his job back
Matthew Kealhofer, a former teacher at River Ridge High School in Woodstock, was found not guilty of raping his ex-wife and is seeking to return to his previous position. They knew about all this helpful evidence to Matthew and nobody talked about it.' Kealhofer expressed his desire to return to his role at River Ridge High School, saying, 'It is my ultimate goal to come back and to be the thriving member to society that I was prior to all this nonsense.' Washington couldn't reach Kealhofer's ex-wife for comment. The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office defended their investigation, saying, 'We stand by the actions of the lead detective, who conducted a thorough and professional investigation. We remain confident in the integrity of the investigative process. We also fully respect the decision made by the jury.' A spokesperson for the Cherokee County School District acknowledged the incident but did not comment on Kealhofer's potential future employment with the school. Former coach accused of filming nude minors with camera hidden in speaker, court docs say
A former area high school assistant coach is accused of filming nude minors with a hidden camera, according to our media partner WCPO-9 TV. Cordell, 48, of Wilmington, was indicted on four counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance, two counts of voyeurism and possessing criminal tools on Aug. 14, according to Clinton County Common Pleas Court records. WCPO-9 TV reported that Cordell is a former high school assistant softball coach and sports photographer. Court documents allege that the camera was hidden in a Bluetooth speaker and the recordings were taken between Jan. 1, 2023, to April 23, 2023. While investigating, Wilmington Police Detective Codey Juillerat requested help from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) 'due to the nature of the allegations and the specialized capabilities of their digital forensic unit,' Gibson said. Investigators executed a search warrant at Cordell's house and found evidence of voyeurism and concealed recordings of both adults and minors. Court documents indicate that the minors were 'in a state of nudity' in the recordings. 'Due to the extensive volume of digital evidence and the number of victims identified, the investigation was lengthy and thorough,' Gibson said. Cordell appeared in court on Monday and is being held on a $75,000 cash bond and a $25,000 recognizance bond, WCPO-9 reported. Child at daycare eats kratom, needs to be revived, police say
A former preschool employee in Mableton has been charged with child cruelty after a 2-year-old was found unresponsive and revived with Narcan. [DOWNLOAD: Free WSB-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] An arrest warrant has been issued for a former preschool employee who is charged with cruelty to children. According to the warrant, Kennesha Floy is accusing of leaving 7tabz on a shelf that a 2-year-old ingested. Police said the child was unresponsive before Narcan was administered by paramedics. The incident allegedly happened on Aug. 8. Investigators said Floyd admitted to leaving the tablets on a shelf at Bright Minds Learning and Childcare Center. According to the warrant, 7tabz contains 7-Hydroxymitragynine, with compounds from Kratom. Police said the tablets were left in a room with multiple children. Officials did not provide an update on the child's condition. Channel 2 Cobb County Bureau Chief Michele Newell stopped by the preschool and received a statement from the school, saying the health and safety of the children is of the utmost importance. 'A wrapper from a purchased energy tablet fell on the floor in a classroom and a child picked it up,' they said. 'The teacher in the class retrieved it right away, but the child had put a piece of the wrapper in their mouth. It has been determined that the product caused a severe reaction for the child.' The daycare's spokesperson said they are cooperating with law enforcement officials during the investigation. 'The product that appears to have caused the reaction was not purchased by the school and the school was not aware of the product being in the school,' they said. 'We have reviewed and updated our policies to prevent any similar incidents in the future. The staff member is no longer employed at Bright Minds.' A man who works across the street from the preschool said he was shocked to see police outside of the building. 'I saw a lot of law enforcement cars here on that day. They stayed here all day. I thought that was very unusual. This is one of the best daycares here in the city of Mableton for many years. This daycare has always supported the community a lot of kids go there,' Anthony Guillory said. The Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning told Channel 2 it is currently investigating allegations concerning the health and safety environment at the daycare. In a statement regarding the alleged incident DECAL said: 'The Department is looking closely into reports of indoor storage hazards, as well as concerns regarding a lack of adequate supervision and vigilant oversight at the facility. DECAL's foremost priority is the safety and well-being of Georgia's children. The Department will conduct a thorough review of the center's practices, policies, and physical environment to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident and to ensure all licensing requirements are being met. Pending the investigation, DECAL is working closely with all relevant parties to address the situation promptly and transparently. The Department will implement corrective actions as needed to ensure the safety and security of all children in care at Bright Minds Learning and Childcare Center. No further information will be provided at this time, as the investigation is ongoing. DECAL remains committed to upholding the highest standards of child care in the State of Georgia and will provide updates as appropriate upon the conclusion of the investigative process.
