On May 4, 2025, the Reese's Senior Bowl celebrated its 36th Hall of Fame class with a heartfelt induction ceremony at The Grand Hotel Golf Club & Spa in Point Clear, Alabama. This year's honoreesm Terron Armstead, Geno Atkins, Jon Gruden, Alex Mack, and Richard Sherman all joined the ranks of football legends, celebrating their impact on the NFL after shining at the Senior Bowl early in their careers.
Terron Armstead, a 2013 Senior Bowl alum, became a cornerstone offensive lineman for the New Orleans Saints & Miami Dolphins, earning three Pro Bowl nods. Geno Atkins, who played in the 2010 game, dominated as a Cincinnati Bengals defensive lineman with 75.5 career sacks and eight Pro Bowl selections. Jon Gruden, the 2019 Senior Bowl head coach, brought coaching prestige, having guided the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a Super Bowl victory in 2003. Alex Mack, a 2009 participant, anchored the Atlanta Falcons' offensive line, while Richard Sherman, from the 2011 game, redefined cornerback play with the Seattle Seahawks and the Legion of Boom bringing a Super Bowl to Seattle.
The festivities for the weekend also included the Fifth Annual Senior Bowl Charities Celebrity Golf Classic held on May 5 at Lakewood Golf Club. Over 20 foursomes, including the inductees, teed off to raise funds for local charities. This class, joining icons like Walter Payton, continues the Senior Bowl's legacy for a starting point for NFL greatness.

The Falcons must step up and take that crown from them, and they must utilize all their weapons and step up on defense. The final practice open to the media for OTAs highlighted the intense battle between rookie quarterback Tyler Shough and second-year quarterback Spencer Rattler. Spencer Rattler ended the day 6/8 passing with 3 touchdowns, while Shough finished 7/8 passing with one touchdown. Both players rotated working with the first and second teams. Advertisement The quarterback battle became public first during the open portion of the first week of OTAs when Shough and Rattler each had impressive showings. During 7-on-7 sessions, Rattler went a perfect 8/8 passing, while Shough followed up closely, going 7/8 with a deep 50+ yard bomb to Shaheed. The two young signal callers continued their impressive runs in 7-on-7 drills the following week. During the open portion of the Saints week two OTAs, Shough went 9/12 with 2 touchdowns and an interception. The rookie quarterback's touchdowns came excitingly, with both being 60+ yard deep passes. Rattler continues to be right on Shough's trail, however, going 10/12 passing. Shough finishes OTAs going 23/28 for 3 touchdowns and an interception while Rattler ends 24/28 passing with 3 touchdowns. Both players delivered impressive performances, continuing the tight battle for the starting quarterback. While head coach Kellen Moore said the team will maintain similar workouts during minicamp, the real battle will begin in training camp, when teams will be allowed contact drills. As training camp ramps up and bleeds into preseason, a starter will be named.
