Capitol police investigate double homicide that left two women dead in Jackson
Mississippi Department of Public Safety Spokesperson Bailey Martin said officers responded to a shooting at approximately 3:19 a.m. Sunday on Wilmington Street near University Boulevard.
Martin said when officers arrived at the scene, they found two individuals "suffering from apparent gunshot wounds and were pronounced deceased on the scene."
Hinds County interim coroner Jeramiah Howard said Telisa Holder, 34, and Racquel Freeman, 32, were the victims killed in the shooting.

At the time of the incident, no arrests were made. The Clarion Ledger reached out to Martin on Monday, July 7, for an update on suspect information but was told no further comment would be made in this open investigation.
In less than a week, four people have been reportedly shot and killed in Jackson. In addition to Holder and Freeman's death, 23-year-old Gabriel King and 45-year-old Adrione Triggs died on July 4 in separate shootings in the city.

King and Triggs' cases are being investigated by the Jackson Police Department.

1 dead in bar shooting near Alton: Sheriff

Milwaukee police seeking help in search for critically missing 15-year-old girl
The Milwaukee police department is seeking the public's assistance in locating a critically missing 15-year-old, Angelina Wychesit. Wychesit was last in contact with her family the morning of July 13. She was last believed to be in the area of the 7400 block of W. Fernwood Circle, in Milwaukee. Wychesit is described as a Native American female, 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighing around 90 pounds, with dark hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing only a black shirt and socks.
