Jennifer Aniston Debuts New ‘Curve Cut' Hairstyle

The reigning monarch of 'the Rachel' haircut (and the founder and face of it, NBD), Jennifer Aniston, is making a case for a brand new, re-imagined version of the style. Enter: The one where she got the 'curve cut.' In a recent Instagram video post, Jen revealed a brand new product drop from her very own haircare brand, LolaVie. 'Our Dry Shampoo just dropped 🩶… and IT'S SO GOOD! I hope you love too! 🥰 @lolavie,' she wrote to caption her post. That said, it wasn't the dry shampoo that had us catching flies (read: our jaws were on the floor), but her freshly chopped hairstyle. The longer, yet still very much layered style is giving Friends season 6. Style-wise, said layers curve inward, making for the infamous curve cut (also known as the 'C cut'), which was first imagined in 2023. This is a hybrid style that combines the best elements of various looks. Think: the layers of a more refined, tamed wolf cut, but with the feathery aspect of the iconic 'Rachel.' Aka, lots of '90s flippy ends. And the best part? It's so versatile! The curve cut can be tailored to different hair lengths and textures, from bobs to longer styles. Plus, it requires minimal styling thanks to its layers that naturally frame the face. So, if you're seeking a re-upped, low-maintenance haircut for summer 2025, why not follow in Jen's footsteps with this very look?! After all, she is a certified trendsetter, and she's even given you the perfect products to use to style the look.

Blocked ‘Bang, Bang, Bang!' Blessings: Marlon Wayans Alleges NBC Rejected ‘The Wayans Bros.' Because John Witherspoon's Pops Was ‘Too Ghetto'

Marlon Wayans recently alleged that if it were up to NBC, The Wayans Bros. never would've had one of the most iconic characters, John Witherspoon's Pops. The gag is… network execs wanted someone like Danny Glover instead. Source: Ethan Miller/Earl Gibson III / Getty Imagine the beloved sitcom without its biggest scene-stealer! On the latest episode of Baby, This Is Keke Palmer , Marlon shared that NBC allegedly tried to yeet Mr. 'Yitadee' himself, John Witherspoon. 'We didn't make it to NBC. We did a table reading, and they thought [Witherspoon's character] was too ghetto. And they wanted us to have a different father…like a Danny Glover type, and we was like, 'No,'' Wayans recalled. NBC had a lot of power in the era of hit shows like ER and Friends , the Him actor and his big brother Shawn weren't new to this. The silly siblings had their own track record of success as movie stars and network TV veterans of a historic comedy show. In Living Color was such a breakout hit that it created the Super Bowl Halftime Show as we know it and solidified Fox's status as the fourth major broadcast network. The same dynasty behind stars like Jim Carrey and Jamie Foxx knows comedic gold when they see it. 'It's the flavor of the show. We was like, 'It's John Witherspoon or it's not.' … We ain't going to do the show. And they was like, 'Well, negro, you're not doing the show,'' he continued. A legend like Danny Glover was tempting, but Wayans and his team refused to fumble the Friday star's unmatched energy for respectability politics. Fortunately, the WB understood the assignment. 'We was like 'Wait, hold on, Danny Glover, you say?' But then, the WB was starting, and it was like, 'I think that's a great combination.' So, everything is God. One man's trash is another man's treasure, and it's not about the doors that close; it's the ones that open up,' Wayans said. The show went forward as planned, starring Witherspoon as the Pops we know and love. The series premiered on the WB in January 1995, with its fifth and final season ending in May 1999. Witherspoon passed away from a heart attack in 2019 at 77 years old. Wayans went on to discuss dealing with grief, starring in the next Jordan Peele film, his Wild Child tour, and the upcoming return of the horror spoof franchise with Scary Movie 6 . A wedding ceremony in the English countryside took an unexpected turn when a nervous groom said something his bride will never forget. In a clip on TikTok, husband and wife Andrew, 51, and Rebecca Fildes, 43, stood before friends and family in Ampthill, Bedfordshire, exchanging vows on what should have been a picture-perfect day. But things briefly veered off-script when the groom accidentally blurted out his ex-girlfriend's name—just as he was about to marry the love of his life. Andrew, holding Rebecca's hands in his, responded, "I take you, Sarah..." The bride, guests and even Andrew himself burst into laughter as the moment played out. Thankfully, Rebecca understood and didn't hold it against him. "His ex-girlfriend's name is Sarah, [and] so is one of my middle names," she told Newsweek. "I understood he was nervous and slipped up." Rebecca and Andrew—who she affectionately calls "Andi"—met in their hometown village shop in Harlington. Their friendship grew online before it blossomed into romance. The two are a classic case of opposites attracting. "I'm a lot more outgoing and sociable," Rebecca said. "Andi is more introverted and sensible." Thankfully, Rebecca wasn't upset—just amused. "He didn't even realize he'd left 'Rebecca' out," she said. "I told him and he said, 'I'm so sorry, I was so nervous that I'd do something wrong.' We laughed about it." Simply captioned: "Oh dear," Rebecca posted the clip on TikTok (@scalesfeathersandfur), which has amassed over 34,000 views. Dozens of users reacted in the comments, jumping to Andrew's defense. "To be fair I think he just got HER names in the wrong order due to anxiety. He looks besotted with her. Congratulations," one user wrote. But some weren't as understanding, claiming they would "walk out" if it had happened to them. Many others referenced the iconic Friends episode where Ross says Rachel's name at the altar. "Ross and Rachael ... I mean Emily moment," one user laughed. The couple tied the knot on October 21, 2023, and the ceremony was otherwise smooth, aside from the unexpected name-drop. Nearly two years into marriage, the couple are enjoying their life together. "We are still very much happily married and live each others company," she said.
