CaratLane's ‘The Nudge' Inspires Real Proposals in India

CaratLane, India's leading omni-channel jewellery brand, has rolled out 'The Nudge', the second chapter in its proposal campaign, continuing its mission to redefine the act of commitment in Indian relationships.
Conceptualized by BBH India, the film spotlights a relatable emotional insight—men often delay proposing, and sometimes all it takes is a gentle nudge to take the plunge. 'The Nudge' captures a heartfelt, humorous, and refreshingly real moment of commitment, rooted in Indian sensibilities rather than Western stereotypes.
The campaign features CaratLane's expansive 400+ engagement ring collection, including the Gulnaara ring with a special 73-faceted cut that symbolizes thoughtful intent and clarity.
Saumen Bhaumik, CEO of CaratLane, shared:
'Proposals should come from the heart—on your own terms and time. 'The Nudge' reflects that authenticity and the beauty of choosing commitment when it truly matters.'
Parikshit Bhattacharya, CCO of BBH India, added:
'This story is real, funny, and messy—just like love. It's the nudge many men need to take that bold, beautiful step.'
The film will be promoted through TV, digital media, influencer collaborations, and in-store experiences, reinforcing CaratLane's belief that commitment is best sealed with a ring that reflects sincerity and emotion.

US-based Indian mom faces backlash for preparing a week's meal in advance: ‘New generation is turning out to be more misogynist'

A US-based Indian woman named Madhavi is making headlines online, not just for her clever kitchen hack, but also for the unexpected backlash she received after sharing it. Known for posting vegetarian recipes, gardening tips, and homemaking hacks on Instagram, Madhavi, who has over 25,000 followers on the platform, recently uploaded a video showing her prepping meals worth an entire week in just over an hour. From palak roti to dal fry and veg lasagna, the spread was impressive, aimed at busy folks like students, working professionals, and new moms, especially those in the United States where household help isn't as easy to come by. But instead of appreciation, Madhavi was slammed by many netizens. People called her 'lazy,' accused her of feeding her family 'stale' food, and questioned why she couldn't cook fresh meals daily. Others argued that her approach clashed with Ayurvedic principles – ignoring the fact that freezing and reheating food is a practical choice for many living abroad. Despite the trolls, support poured in too. Krish Ashok, author of Masala Lab and a popular Instagram creator, publicly backed Madhavi, helping amplify her video and call out the misogyny driving much of the hate. On Reddit, user @National_Holobird reshared her video and said: 'She's a US-based creator who makes videos of her meal prep. This recent video of hers got so much hate from privileged idiots who think fresh hot food is their birthright and have zero acknowledgement for the labour women (wife/mom/domestic help) that goes into it.' This meal prep creator got so much hate that she turned off comments ft @madhavis_little_nook byu/National_Holobird inInstaCelebsGossip Several others, too, joined in to defend Madhavi. One user wrote, 'Although she is cooking for her family, I believe she is working as well, but people want her to have a full-time 2nd shift for household chores.' Another pointed out, 'What's funny is most commenters are men who probably don't even know where the kitchen is. And some hateful women who are just waiting to be picked by these men.'

Allu Arjun To Play Four Roles In Atlee's AA22 x A6, Including Grandfather And Sons: Report

Allu Arjun will play four roles—grandfather, father, and two sons—in Atlee's AA22 x A6, also starring Deepika, Rashmika, Janhvi, and Mrunal. After the roaring success of Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun is poised to push cinematic boundaries once again—this time teaming up with blockbuster filmmaker Atlee for what promises to be an audacious, genre-defying epic. Tentatively titled AA22 x A6, the film is already generating a tidal wave of buzz in the Indian film industry and beyond. With an ensemble cast that includes Deepika Padukone, Rashmika Mandanna, Janhvi Kapoor, and Mrunal Thakur, this multilingual spectacle is shaping up to be a landmark event in Indian cinema. But what truly sets AA22 x A6 apart is Allu Arjun's unprecedented quadruple role. According to insider sources, the actor will portray an entire generational lineage—playing a grandfather, a father, and two sons. 'It's a first for him and a cinematic challenge few would dare attempt," a source told Bollywood Hungama. 'He's breathing life into an entire family tree." Originally envisioned as a double role, director Atlee was planning to cast separate actors for the elder characters. However, it was Allu Arjun who proposed taking on all four parts. 'Atlee was skeptical initially, but once they conducted look tests, he was convinced. It wasn't just working—it was elevating the film to another level. Viewers will get to witness four distinct shades of Allu Arjun in one film," the source added. Backing this grand-scale vision is production powerhouse Sun Pictures. Filming is expected to wrap up in the latter half of 2026, but what's more intriguing is the ambitious workflow the team has adopted. 'Post-production has already begun alongside shooting, allowing actors and technicians to track the output in real time," revealed the insider. 'This approach reflects the team's commitment to delivering a global cinematic experience. The release date will be unveiled with a visually loaded promo that's currently in the works." With shooting underway in Mumbai, AA22 x A6 is aiming for a worldwide theatrical release in late 2026 or early 2027, across multiple languages. Combining star power, storytelling ambition, and technological finesse, the film is all set to redefine the scale of pan-India—and pan-global—cinema. The cultural spectacle: Ambani wedding as a celebration of Indian heritage

The wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant wasn't just a union of two individuals, it was a celebration of India's soul. Spanning several days and traditions, the wedding paid tribute to India's rich cultural, artistic, and spiritual legacy. Every ritual, from mosalu to sangeet, grah shanti, peethi, and bhajans, was deeply rooted in time-honoured Ambani's dance performance at the 'Valley of Gods' event added a deeply personal touch, blending the artistic with the spiritual. Guests experienced not only ceremonies, but emotions, familial love, community bonding, and spiritual devotion-all stitched together through music, dance, and dcor. advertisementThe wedding day theme, 'An Ode to Banaras,' transported guests to the holy city's ghats and alleys, invoking its sacred energy. The 'Resplendently Indian' dress code showcased India's diverse textile and design heritage, making global dignitaries part of the cultural mosaic. Beyond opulence, it was the attention to emotional and cultural detail that stood out.
