
Parade, ceremony for Summer School Students in Sa'ada District
Sa'ada - SABA:
The Executive Committee and General Mobilization Department in Sa'ada District, in coordination with the schools of Old Sa'ada Subdistrict, organized a closing ceremony and scout parade to mark the conclusion of summer activities and courses.
The parade, attended by Deputy Governor Mohammed Al-Ba'dani and several local authority officials, showcased the students' physical fitness, high morale, and the benefits they gained from the summer courses.
During the event, Deputy Educational Sector Official in the governorate and member of the Summer Schools Subcommittee in Sa'dah, Abdullah Al-Jallal, praised the success of the summer courses and the knowledge and cultural content they offered across various fields.
He commended the efforts of teachers and organizers for their role in educating and spiritually nurturing the students based on Qur'anic principles—emphasizing the lasting impact of such a foundation in real life.
Speeches by teachers and students reflected the depth of benefit gained from the programs and highlighted the importance of summer schools in shaping future generations.

KSrelief extends contract for Masam Project
The Saudi aid agency KSrelief has extended by one year its contract for the Masam Project to clear mines in Yemen. Saudi personnel and international experts are implementing the project and working with Yemeni teams trained to remove all types of mines planted in the country. 'These mines, deployed in various forms and camouflaged in locations targeting unarmed civilians, have caused permanent injuries, lifelong disabilities and numerous casualties among women, children and the elderly, and other acts that pose a threat to security and life.' He noted that the project has removed 495,855 mines and various shells to date.

Capital Secretariat… Conclusion of summer activities at central correctional facility
Sana'a - Saba: The General Administration of the Central Correctional Facility in the Capital Secretariat organized on Saturday an event marking the conclusion of summer activities and courses for inmates in 1446 AH. The event was attended by the Deputy Secretary of the Capital for the Education Sector, Mohammed Al-Banous. Scholar Hamoud Sharafuddin, a member of the Scholars' Association, praised the efforts of those overseeing the summer courses at the facility, highlighting their significant role in the success of these programs designed for inmate graduates. He emphasized the importance of these courses in enhancing their Quranic knowledge. Sharafuddin pointed out the significance of summer programs in nurturing minds and bodies while protecting them from misguided ideologies. He commended the fruitful lessons and activities the inmates received, which will reflect positively on their knowledge and behavior as a valuable educational outcome. He affirmed that these courses and the great initiatives of the summer centers for Quran memorization increase awareness among inmates, praising the large turnout of participants from the Central Correctional Facility in the Capital Secretariat. For his part, Brigadier Yahya Salah, Director of the Central Correctional Facility, commended the inmates' engagement in the summer programs. He urged all inmates to continue their rehabilitation, stay connected to God's guidance, and participate in Quran recitation circles, given their positive impact on behavior and enlightenment.
