He plays a pathologist, crime-solving doctor George, in The Sunshine Murders.
Set in Cyprus, the new series will be debuting on Channel 5 in September.
It stars Star Trek actress Marina Sirtis and ex-EastEnders star Nina Wadia.
Meanwhile, Peter recently addressed backlash from fans for his role in comedy film Jafaican.
He plays conman Gazza, who must master a Caribbean accent and culture to impersonate a notorious Jamaican gangster for a £3million payout.
Peter previously told The Sun: "When I read the script, I spent the whole time laughing.
'It was warm, with a deep, heartfelt message about what someone would do to care for the person that they love.
"It was also a beautiful tribute to Jamaica.
'But for me, working on Jafaican has been a dream come true.
'I know some people were a bit sceptical at first because we didn't know whether I could deliver what we had planned, but the reviews we've had have been phenomenal.
Emotional Peter Andre reveals strict rule for Princess and Junior
'I studied acting as a kid before going into music from 16, but I always knew I was going to come back to it.
"I always said to my dad, 'when I get to my 40s, I'm moving back into film, that's what I want to do'.'
However, fans were left cringing at Peter's attempt of doing a Jamaican accent.
One penned: "What is happening here lad?"
While another added: "LMFAO, this is the most original thing I've seen in a while."
A third chimed in: "This looks hilarious can't wait to see this."
Jafaican also stars Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas - known as bad boy Warren Fox.

Princess Andre shares sad reason she couldn't speak to dad Peter about mum Katie Price

Katie Price and Peter Andre's daughter Princess has revealed that she cried herself to sleep instead of speaking to her dad about her mum's issues Princess Andre has revealed the sad reason why she couldn't speak to her dad Peter Andre about her mum Katie Price following their bitter divorce. ‌ In her brand-new ITV series, The Princess Diaries, which airs on Sunday night on ITV, the influencer and model, 18, is set to open up about how her parents' estranged relationship has affected her through her childhood and teenage years. ‌ Earlier this summer, Princess announced the exciting news of the ITV show, which will offer a behind-the-scenes look into her life and burgeoning career as a model, focusing on her relationship with her family. It comes after her mum Katie, 47, revealed that Princess has moved out in another swipe at ex Peter. ‌ In the first episode of her reality TV series, Princess opened up about why she felt she could never speak to her dad, Peter, 52, about her mum following their bitter split and the fact they haven't spoken in years. During the episode, Princess speaks to her mum on the phone while she's away on holiday in Dubai. After the call, Princess admitted that she and her famous mum are more alike that people would think and revealed that they are now closer than ever - with her mum even baring all on FaceTime. ‌ "She had her boobs out," Princess laughed. "She's just casually out of the shower with her top off. Like, she just doesn't care. I never answer the phone to my mum when I'm around people. Because when she's on the phone, she's so unpredictable. "She just lives life. She actually doesn't care and I actually really, really, look up to that. I would love to have that mindset of 'I don't care', because deep down I always do care. I won't show any emotion but then I'll get to my bed and I'll cry and cry and cry. ‌ "On my own, I don't handle it very well but to other people I would seem to fine and so good." Princess went on to address not being able to talk to her dad Peter about her mum as she revealed that she has been in counselling. "I do have a counsellor and I do sometimes see her every now and again. But I don't feel like I can really ever talk so I just write everything down in my notes. I do wish that I could have had a more happier childhood," Princess admitted. The 18-year-old told the cameras that she had 'so much on her plate' when it came to navigating her childhood with two famous parents who didn't get along. The influencer went on: "I had so many things on my plate at such a young age. ‌ "I wish sometimes that it wasn't like that and I could have actually enjoyed it and not had things in the back of my mind so young. Obviously, I had amazing times in my childhood, I have so many amazing memories with my mum and my dad, but I also have lots of not-so-good memories of the time when my mum and Kieran split up." ‌ Katie and Kieran officially split in May 2018. While they were married from 2013 to 2021, they separated in 2018, with Katie accusing Kieran of cheating. The divorce proceedings were finalised three years later, in 2021 and the former couple share two children Jett and Bunny. "It happened when I was ten years old and he was in our lives for like five years. So, we got really close to him and obviously we loved him, but he did a lot of stuff and when they split up, everything kind of went downhill with my mum obviously being heartbroken. "She didn't deal with that in the best way. She went through a very, very, dark time which is understandable. But it was hard for me because I was around adult things that kids should never see. ‌ "And I think when we needed our mum there, she wasn't emotionally able to be there because she had so much of her own problems going on." Princess then confessed that she would bottle up her emotions in public but cry alone at home because she felt she was never able to open up to her dad about how she was feeling, because it was all down to her mum's actions and sadness. ‌ "I remember coming home from school, and I would literally just cry in bed at 11 years old. I would never go speak to my dad about it because the way I've grown up, I obviously know that my mum and my dad don't like each other, which is fair enough, they are not going to. "I could speak about my childhood and everything that happened and I would be absolutely fine, but then, once something sets me off, and when I actually deep everything, it makes me realise. Then it makes me think that maybe I'm still not over everything, and I'm still not healed from what has happened. ‌ "I wouldn't say I'm fully recovered from it, but mum is such a different person now. If you compare her now to how she was back then, she has genuinely really fixed herself. She has apologised to me and I never wanted an apology from her but I think it meant a lot that she kind of acknowledged it. "We're so close now and we do a lot of things together and we talk all the time. I love her. She's like my best friend." The Princess Diaries debuts on ITV2 at 9pm on Sunday.

Repair Shop host Jay Blades charged with two counts of rape and faces court next week a year after quitting hit BBC show

REPAIR Shop star Jay Blades has been charged with two counts of rape. Police confirmed the allegations against the 55-year-old dad of three from Shropshire. 4 4 Blades fronted the hit BBC show for seven years before stepping back last year. King Charles appeared alongside him on a special episode in 2022. West Mercia Police confirmed charges against the dad of three, with a magistrates' court date set for next Wednesday. A spokesperson said: 'Jason Blades, 55, of Claverley in Shropshire, has been charged with two counts of rape. "He is due to appear at Telford magistrates' court on 13 August 2025.' Blades was awarded an MBE in 2022 for services to craft while King Charles appeared on the Repair Shop the same year. The TV star is currently awaiting trial on a separate charge of controlling and coercive behaviour against estranged wife Lisa-Marie Zbozen, which he has denied. Blades was arrested in May 2024 - on the same day fitness instructor Lisa announced her decision to end their 18-month marriage. In September Blades was charged. His actions allegedly caused Lisa 'to fear, on at least two occasions, that violence will be used against her'. The presenter pleaded not guilty to the charge — which relates to the period between January 1, 2023 and September 12, 2024 — at a court hearing last October. He is due to attend Worcester crown court today for a pre-trial review regarding the charge. Blades, who married Lisa in an intimate ceremony in Barbados in November 2022, took a break from filming following his arrest. Sources said the decision was also linked to the death of his uncle Richard Braithwaite, 72, in North London in March. A neighbour has been charged with murder. Blades was also dropped from The Repair Shop's live show, Secrets From The Barn, and quietly removed from promotional material. His Repair Shop co-star, horologist Steve Fletcher, revealed in March he had visited Blades while on a break from the live tour. Steve shared a photograph of himself with Blades on Instagram with the caption: 'In a break from our 'Secrets From the Barn' Tour, I popped in to see Jay the other day for a cup of tea and a lovely chat. 'It was great to catch up. Hope to see him again soon.' The BBC later replaced Blades with Roman Kemp for the Christmas special of the popular series. Blades also resigned as chancellor of Buckinghamshire New University 'with immediate effect' following the initial charge. It said: 'We thank Jay for his loyal service to the university and will be making no further comment.' As well as fronting The Repair Shop since 2017, Blades also hosted BBC shows including Money For Nothing and Jay Blades' Home Fix. He also appeared as a contestant on the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special and fronted a special BBC documentary, Jay Blades: Learning to Read at 51. 4 4

Kevin Spacey launches bid to claw back Hollywood career by singing at Cyprus event

Kevin Spacey is to sing in a big band at a Cyprus resort in an ambitious bid to claw back his showbusiness career. The disgraced Hollywood outcast, 66, will perform for one night at the Parklane Luxury Collection Resort in Limassol, Cyprus. Tickets for his 'Songs & Stories' performance are priced from £220, with a £1,100 VIP package including a 30-minute meet-and-greet photo opportunity, bottle of champagne and fruit platter, according to The Sun. The Oscar-winner will be backed by a jazz band and will tell tales from his showbusiness career in between performing songs. Organisers said: 'With the elegance of Sinatra, the wit of Dean Martin, and a career that spans decades of unforgettable performances, Spacey brings a voice and presence that's simply unmatched. 'This is not just a concert. It's not just an evening of stories. 'It's the return of an entertainer in the grandest sense of the word—for one night only in Limassol's most prestigious venue.' The 90-minute event is taking place on November 15 with guests being told to wear 'cocktail attire'. Spacey previously portrayed crooner Bobby Darin in 2004 biopic Beyond The Sea, and sang on stage at Madison Square Garden with Billy Joel. The Daily Mail has contacted Spacey's representatives for comment. Spacey returned to the spotlight in May this year to collect a Lifetime Achievement Award at a gala in Cannes following claims the director is not welcome at the film festival. The controversial actor, who was cleared of sexual assault on four men two years ago, took the opportunity to slam 'blacklisting' in Hollywood. Spacey was honored at a gala hosted by the Better World Fund as he continued his return to the public eye after a lengthy UK trial in 2023 which cleared him of the allegations. He was 'recognised not only for his decades of artistic brilliance but also his enduring impact on cinema and the arts,' according to a statement. The gala is not an official part of the French film festival but the Carlton Hotel plays host to much of the activities during the prestigious event in Cannes. The Telegraph reported that the film festival had not extended an invitation to Spacey and organisers have denied any involvement with the actor.
