Plastic surgeons reveal what could be behind ICE Barbie Kristi Noem's changing face
But the 53-year-old Homeland Security secretary was criticized over her looks in a recent South Park episode that showed her face melting off her body, in a jab at her alleged plastic surgeries.
Now, two surgeons have revealed to DailyMail.com whether they believe there is any truth to the claims.
After reviewing photos of the 'ICE Barbie' over the years, both said she had likely invested in subtle tweaks using Botox to banish wrinkles and filler to plump her cheeks and lips.
But much of her 'glow-up,' said the doctors, who have not seen Noem in person, was due to a change of style, which had veered from conservative to glamorous, deploying large, fake eyelashes, long wavy hair and heavier makeup.
Both surgeons said they did not think she had gone under the knife for any more extreme procedures, such as a facelift or nose job.
Dr Adam Rubinstein, a plastic surgeon in Florida, told this website: 'Kristi Noem is an attractive woman, both before and after any change to her appearance.
'What we are looking at in these pictures really is more of a glamorous makeover than a surgical makeover.'
Dr Jimmy Sung, a plastic surgeon at Tribeca Aesthetics, told this website: 'If you think about it, these are the aesthetics that Trump likes... now known as the Mar-a-Lago look, where everything is just a bit exaggerated.'
The plastic surgeons based their comments on photos and videos of the politician but did not examine her in person.
Noem has never confirmed using Botox or fillers, and representatives for the politician did not respond to DailyMail.com's request for comment. But in March 2024 she did reveal she had received undisclosed cosmetic procedures on her teeth.
In an advertisement for Smile Texas, a dental clinic, the former South Dakota governor said she needed work from the clinic to 'fix my teeth' after suffering a biking accident.
She said: 'I'm the governor of South Dakota and [I] had the opportunity to come to Smile Texas to fix my teeth, which has been absolutely amazing.
'I want when people look at me to hear the words that I say and not be distracted by something that I'm wearing or how I look or even my appearance.
'I want them to focus on my thoughts and ideas and what we can do to really make this country better.'
Stating that Noem had likely used filler, Dr Rubinstein said: 'Her cheeks are looking a little puffy compared to how she was before, and that is something that would normally be achieved with fillers.
'Her lips too, these wouldn't naturally get larger over time.'
Dr Sung added: 'What really stands out to me is the cheek.
'That has either been achieved with a lot of filler into her face, or something called an injectable implant. I think that is possible because in videos her face often doesn't move that much.'
An injectable cheek implant is a substance that is injected into the cheek to add volume.
It is typically intended to be permanent or long-lasting, using a substance that remains stable and does not degrade over time. In contrast, fillers last only six to 18 months and gradually dissolve.
Estimating how much filler she may have used, Dr Sung said: 'There's got to be 10 to 15 syringes in her face at any one time at least.'
On average, patients receive about one to three syringes of filler every session, surgeons say.
Other surgeons have previously suggested that Noem may have received a neck lift or mini facelift, where the skin around the cheeks and jawline is tightened.
Dr Michael Niccole, a plastic surgeon at CosmetiCare Plastic Surgery Center in California, told celebrity news website Nicki Swift in March this year: 'She looks significantly refreshed and lifted, the skin on her neck appears tighter, her facial contours more defined, and her skin tone and texture are dramatically improved.
'It's likely she's undergone a neck lift and a mini facelift, possibly along with skin rejuvenation treatments like microneedling or a light erbium laser.'
But the plastic surgeons who spoke to DailyMail.com said this was unlikely because they could only see tightening in her jawline, which they said would be unusual for someone undergoing more invasive procedures.
Dr Sung said her defined jawline was likely the result of fillers or threads, temporary sutures inserted under the skin to lift and tighten sagging skin.
He added: 'This is clear to me because, with these procedures, you would typically tighten skin in other areas, like the neck, but that clearly isn't the case here.'
The surgeons pointed to an apparent reduction in wrinkles on her forehead and around her mouth over time to suggest that she was likely using Botox or having filler injected into these areas.
Aside from cosmetic procedures, after Trump won the presidency, Noem has reinvented her hair from a layered straight cut to long, voluminous waves.
Her makeup was previously subdued, and her clothing was simple.
But now, since transforming into her 'ICE Barbie persona', she has more dramatic makeup and less conservative clothing.
Dr Sung said her appearance was now not dissimilar to other MAGA stars such as Kimberly Guilfoyle and Lara Trump.
In the South Park episode, Noem is shown shooting several dogs as Botox melted off her face, in a reference to her admission that she once shot her dog.
In another scene, the secretary's good looks disappear as she takes a bath, before a glam squad appeared to put her public face back on.
It eventually concludes with Noem and ICE agents raiding heaven as her face melted and fell to the floor. She is also shown asking President Donald Trump whether he is trying to replace her, saying: 'Think I can't handle myself because I'm a lady with good looks that drive men wild?'
Noem has since slammed the new South Park episode, saying on the Glenn Beck podcast that the show was 'lazy'.
She said: 'I didn't get to see it; I was going over budget numbers. I just think it never ends, it's lazy to constantly make fun of women for how they look.
'Always the liberals and extremists do that, if they wanted to criticize my job, go ahead and do that, but clearly, they can't. They just pick something petty like that.'

Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato's former costar Alyson Stoner recalls horrifying rape by 'well-adored colleague'
Alyson Stoner opened up about a harrowing story detailing how they were once allegedly sexually assaulted by a colleague. The actor — who uses they/them pronouns — claimed they 'blacked out' when they were attacked after a wellness event by a man who was allegedly 'well-adored in the community.' Stoner, now 32, shared the shocking allegation in their new memoir: Semi-Well-Adjusted Despite Literally Anything, which was released Tuesday. 'The world blurred as my mind completely disconnected from my body,' Stoner, who starred alongside Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato in the Camp Rock film franchise, wrote in their memoir, per Us Weekly. 'The last image I saw was a poster on the wall of a ravenous feline leaping for its prey. Then I blacked out and he raped me.' During that time, Stoner had taken a hiatus from acting and was transitioning away from content creation. The former child star had started working towards becoming a full-time mental health professional and advocate for current child actors and influencers. The Disney alum said the alleged sexual assault occurred after she ran into the colleague at an unnamed wellness event. The two allegedly ended up alone together after Stoner accepted the colleague's invitation to learn more about his products. Stoner did not reveal their alleged attacker's name in their memoir before detailing how he allegedly treated them like 'an inanimate object.' 'He opened the door to a room on the first floor of an apartment building,' they wrote before remembering the thought that crossed their mind at the time. 'Is this his lab or his residence? It was common for entrepreneurs and creatives to have live-work spaces, but this looked nothing like the setup from the photos he showed me.' Stoner claimed that the man's place had 'no chairs to sit on' and they ended up sitting on the floor. They recalled feeling 'uncomfortable' that they noticed the man's 'eyes focused on my crotch.' 'His eyes burned a hole in my body as he calculated his next move. Suddenly, his hand reached to grab my crotch, and I swatted him away.' Stoner remembered how they were crying when the man, who was bigger than them, allegedly overpowered and trapped them in a small corner of his room. 'Still on the floor, he wrestled me toward the back corner of the room as I fought back tears. With one arm, he lifted my whole body onto his bed, which was tucked into a recessed nook with three walls enclosing it.' When the alleged assailant tried to 'remove' their clothes, Stoner said their 'legs fused together and I didn't move.' 'I briefly exited my body to go into analytical survivor mode: Stay present and list your options. You know what might happen. How can you get out of this alive? Your phone is out of reach. If you scream, he might muffle you. 'If you run for the door, he's massive and will beat you there and maybe make it more painful,' they added. Stoner recalled feeling themselves becoming 'more and more trapped and unable to function.' However, the Disney alum said they fought through the 'dread' and was able to get their attacker to stop. 'Like a child trying to fool his parents, he stopped communicating and pretended to fall asleep instantly, though his body was visibly charged with energy. I tried to match his nonchalance and deescalate the situation.' But Stoner claimed the man continued to assault them anyway. 'There was no reasoning or physically fighting my way out. My defenses waned as his hands pulled my pants to my knees, flipping me to the side where I could momentarily see his bare body in my periphery. 'He separated my legs like I was an inanimate object.' In their memoir, Stoner also opened up about their experience in Hollywood — just shortly after they shared a story about how they were fired from a kids' show after first coming out as queer. In a 2018 Teen Vogue interview, they claimed it was 'definitely discrimination' when they were let go from a show they opted out of naming. 'I did end up getting fired from a children's show beccause they felt that I was unsafe, now that they knew I was queer to be around kids,' they said on the I'm Literally Screaming podcast in June 2023.

Influencer who was part of a death hoax at 14 challenges OnlyFans sensation Sophie Rain to $60 million boxing match
Controversial influencer Lil Tay has challenged OnlyFans star Sophie Rain to a $60 million boxing match a week after she made her debut on the adult content platform. Lil Tay, 18, shared a fiery post targeting the 20-year-old Bop House founder and OnlyFans top earner on Tuesday. 'Sophie Rain, $60 million is what I have for you to fight me in a boxing match,' Lil Tay, who became an internet sensation when she was just nine years old, said in the clip shared with her 5.8 million Instagram followers. 'You're about that money, right? Well this is more money than you've ever made off that crusty, dusty, boomer a** life. So put on the gloves and fight me.' Lil Tay went on to say this prospective fight would be a chance for Rain to meet her 'idol in the ring.' 'And don't pretend you're above it all just because you're scared I'm gonna beat the brakes off of you,' she rambled on. 'I'm ready for you. I've been training, I've been doing spicy boxing training sessions, workouts .' She added she was going to tell her manager and lawyers to draft up a contract about getting her and Rain in the ring. View this post on Instagram A post shared by LIL TAY (@liltay) Lil Tay captioned the post, stating that Rain has '24 hours to reply.' Rain does not appear to have responded to the proposition yet. The self-proclaimed 'youngest flexer of the century' issued this message to Rain after Tay tore the internet to shreds by launching an OnlyFans on her 18th birthday. Within the first three hours of her adult content page being active, she earned more than $1 million from subscribers. Many of her fans were unsettled by this development, as she has been in the spotlight since she was a little girl. Lil Tay was infamously involved in a death hoax scandal when she was just 14 years old. Around June 2018, Lil Tay took an abrupt social media hiatus that lasted about five years. In August 2023, Lil Tay, whose real name is Claire Hope, and her brother Jason, then 21 years old, were declared 'dead' in an out-of-the-blue Instagram statement. But a month later, the cash-flaunting child rapper re-emerged and claimed her 'abusive' father was behind the sinister scheme. 'My abusive racist misogynistic woman beating father faked my death,' she bluntly asserted at the time. While it is unconfirmed what truly transpired, Lil Tay's rocky relationship with her parents - especially her father, Christopher Hope - had been a major chapter of the young woman's career. Recently, Lil Tay has found herself at the center of attention once again - this time for her OnlyFans pursuits. On the day she turned 18, she claimed the content was taken at exactly 12:01am, calling it 'freshly 18' content and adding in her bio: 'Please don't tell my mom.' But before the clock struck 12 on her birthday, she had already started buzz with her plans, advertising that she was launching the account online. It is likely she specially targeted Rain in her Tuesday boxing match proposal because she and members of the Bop House - which is a house full OnlyFans creators - had allegedly been claiming Lil Tay was trying to join. Lil Tay has vocally disputed these claims, even showing off a screenshot of the Bop House TikTok page actually reaching out to her to 'audition.' Adding another layer to the matter, Rain - who rapidly climbed to fame for earning $43 million on the platform in one year - has recently left the Bop House amid an alleged feud with another member, Camilla Araujo, 23, who announced she was also leaving the house about a week after. As Rain departed the Bop House, rumors emerged that she may be quitting OnlyFans altogether. In a video she shared on TikTok on July 22, she wrote 'Day 1 of me being retired' and showed herself sitting in a grassy field. She also said she purchased a farm with her staggering OnlyFans earnings. But after Lil Tay launched her account and received a jaw-dropping among of overnight success, Rain seemingly posted a TikTok directed at the OnlyFans newcomer. 'Me coming out of retirement after hearing someone is claiming to make more than me,' Rain wrote in a TikTok shared on Monday.
