Amanda Kloots makes red carpet debut with sports star beau... 5 years after husband's agonizing Covid death
Amanda Kloots debuted her new romance with her sports star beau nearly five years after her husband Nick Cordero 's death.
The television personality, 43, made her new relationship red carpet official as she attended An Unforgettable Evening with retired tennis player Justin Gimelstob, 48.
The pair appeared to be attached at the hip at the star-studded event in support of breast cancer research at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
And at one point, the former Broadway dancer and Radio City Rockette put on a very public display of affection as she leaned over for a smooch from her newfound love.
Previously, Kloots was married to Cordero, a Broadway star, for three years until his tragic death from COVID-19 in July 2020.
For the glamorous gala with her hunky beau, she slipped into a baby blue, satin dress featuring a chic, high neckline and capped sleeves.
Gimelstob, who retired from professional tennis in 2007, coordinated his look to match as he also sported a pale blue button-down shirt paired with his navy suit and muted purple tie.
Kloots paired her elegant gown with silver, peep-toe heels and a white, rectangular clutch.
She left her long, blonde hair down with soft waves from a fresh blowout and highlighted her natural beauty with a glowy, fresh makeup look.
At the event, Kloots spoke about her new romance and admitted that its still 'very new.'
'It's been absolutely lovely,' she said in an interview with People, before noting that they are still 'courting.'
'I hope to never leave that stage,' Gimelstob added. 'I was admiring her, well before she gave me a shot.'
Then, the pair revealed that they met at a Formula 1 race in Las Vegas but did not go on their first date until a year and a half later after mutual friends set them up.
'It kind of happened very naturally, which is great,' Kloots told the outlet.
The couple gushed about each other with Kloots calling him a 'wonderful man' and adding that she adores 'how he takes care of me.'
They also spoke about how they bonded over being single parents.
Gimelstob is a father to 11-year-old son Brandon while Kloots welcomed her son Elvis, now five, with her late husband in 2019.
Last year, Kloots said her late husband encouraged her to find love again through readings with mediums.
Chatting with the outlet, she said that Cordero 'definitely' gave her 'his blessing' for her to start dating four years after his passing at age 41 due to COVID-19 complications.

'He always says it's coming,' she said.
'That's one of the running themes from readings that I've had, that it's coming. I know you're lonely. It's coming. I don't know. We'll see.'
At the time, she revealed she had been dating 'for almost three years.'
As she embarks on a new romance, she revealed earlier this year that she is still keeping the love she shared with her late husband close to her.
In February, she said she created 'something beautiful' with his ashes and made a diamond ring, which she'll wear 'every day.'

Mia Sara, 57, starred with Tom Cruise then was in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, see her now in rare snaps
Mia Sara was a huge movie star in the 1980s. The exotic-looking actress made her big-screen debut opposite Tom Cruise in the fantasy unicorn-seeking adventure Legend in 1985. Then one year later - at the age of 18 - this siren landed a major role in an iconic high school comedy, 1986's Ferris Bueller's Day Off, starring Matthew Broderick. The 57-year-old Hollywood stalwart has continued to work but has rarely been seen. On Monday evening the formerly dark-haired star hit her first red carpet in many years for the premiere of her new movie. She was at The Life Of Chuck screening at Hollywood Legion Theater in Los Angeles with Star Wars veteran Mark Hamill. Born Mia Sarapochiello in Brooklyn, New York, she landed her big break aged 16 with the 1985 fantasy film Legend starring her as a princess and Cruise as a man from the woods. The movie was anchored by Hollywood heavyweights - not just Tom but also director Ridley Scott - and yet turned out to be a flop at the box office. However, one year later, Mia became recognizable all over the country as Sloane Peterson, the girlfriend of mischievous high school senior Ferris Bueller (Matthew Broderick). Ferris gets his famous day off by pretending to be sick, and manages to get Sloane to join him by feeding the school the fake story that her grandmother has died. Upon its release, Ferris Bueller's Day Off became a thunderous box office success and remains one of the best-loved high school comedies to emerge from Hollywood. Shortly after the movie came out, Mia showered praise on both Cruise and Matthew Broderick, whom she noted 'had much more experience' than she did. 'Tom was dedicated and I learned a lot of good work habits from him. And I respected Matt because I had seen him on Broadway. He was one of my favorites,' she told UPI. In the 1990s she featured in such movies as the Melanie Griffith drama A Stranger Among Us - directed by Sidney Lumet of 12 Angry Men fame - as well as the smash hit Jean-Claude Van Damme action movie Timecop. She continued acting on TV Programs like CSI: NY and movies like Dorothy & The Witches of Oz until 2013, when she took a hiatus that ultimately lasted longer than a decade. As early as 2010, she had remarked that she was 'mostly retired' as she had become a 'mother with a really noisy, difficult house to maintain!' The New York native also noted: 'I'm a poet, so for the last couple of years that's what I've been focusing on,' in an interview with Total Film. Mia now has a daughter named Amelia, 20, by her second and current husband Brian Henson, who is the son of The Muppets creator Jim Henson. She also has a 28-year-old son called Dashiell by her first husband Jason Connery, whose father was none other than James Bond legend Sean Connery. After many years away from the movies, she is back with The Life Of Chuck. Mia features amid a star-studded cast including Tom Hiddleston, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Hamill, Jacob Tremblay, Karen Gillan and Nick Offerman. The movie earned a warm response from the critics when it premiered in September at the Toronto International Film Festival, and will be out in theaters soon.

George Clooney, 64, reveals what wife Amal thinks of his 'horrible midlife crisis' dark hair for Broadway play
George Clooney made his Broadway debut in March playing legendary journalist Edward R. Murrow in Good Night, And Good Luck. The Hollywood icon had to dye his gray hair a dark brown color for the part, which has been met with mixed reactions. Now the 64-year-old A-lister has told Seth Meyers on his late night show what his wife Amal Clooney thinks of the look. The lawyer has said the hair dye job is 'funny,' but George admitted, 'She'll be glad when it's gone.' He joked: 'The last show is Sunday, we do a matinee, and by the time we go to the Tony's that night, it'll be gone.' And the star then said, 'I may have a shaved head, I may look like Yul Brynner,' though Meyers said that might be good luck, since Brynner won Best Featured Actor in a Musical in 1952 for The King And I. He also said he was wearing a hat to the interview because his hair was a mess. 'I'm wearing a hat to hide my bad hair. It's bad. It's still dark on top, but it's gray on the bottom,' Clooney said. Meyers explained that, 'it looks great on stage, but off stage it looks like you're trying to get away with something.' Clooney joked, 'It's horrible. It looks like you're going through some sort of midlife crisis. I'm 64, midlife is a little stretch.' Clooney portrays legendary journalist Edward R. Murrow in Good Night, and Good Luck, which he also wrote with his creative partner Grant Heslov, based on the 2005 film of the same name that he starred in, directed and co-wrote with Heslov. The play opened to strong reviews and earned five Tony Award nominations, including one for Best Actor for Clooney, who is facing a lawsuit over his Casamigos tequila brand. The production has also been just as much a commercial hit as it's been a critical smash, becoming the first Broadway play in history to gross $4 million in one week. George also said he had an embarrassing defeat he suffered in the softball league to an upstart team of wizards from a Harry Potter play's cast. When asked about his time on the Broadway softball league, the actor admitted his team is not so great, with their latest loss to none other than Harry Potter And The Cursed Child. 'I'm batting .500 right now. But you listen, I have to be honest. We have a softball team, the Good Night, and Good Luck softball team. And we are 0-3,' he said. 'We have not won. We've been rained out the last three weeks,' Clooney added, as Meyers joked, 'So, you started 0-3 and then, the weather got on your side.' The Oscar-winning actor and director added, 'And our last very close loss was to Harry Potter. Yeah, we lost to, you know, children.' He joked, 'I'd like to think they were using some sort of magic,' as Meyers joked that he can, 'protest any loss to the Potter kids.' Clooney will next be seen on the big screen in Jay Kelly, from writer–director Noah Baumbach, alongside Adam Sandler and Laura Dern, in theaters November 14.
