Since nothing lasts forever and the cruel specter of time claims all things sacred, Disney's Hollywood Studio will shut the doors to Muppet*Vision 3D after Saturday.
After more than 30 years of "state-of-the-art" 3D effects and saluting all nations (but mostly America), Muppets maestro Jim Henson's last true masterwork will eventually be replaced with a Monsters, Inc. section of the park and plays its last show this weekend.
While the attraction never got the consistent attention of, say, a roller coaster or a landmark dark ride, it's still one of the best experiences Disney Parks ever crafted. It's a testament to Henson's genius that it never lost its zeal in the decades since its opening, and there really wasn't ever anything quite like it to watch in a theater.
Last year, I wrote that Muppet*Vision 3D is "a timeless piece of Disney history that should stand for as long as the theme park surrounding it stands, and closing it would feel completely antithetical to the way Disney treats its other classic attractions, with deep reverence and keen understanding of how awful it would be to snuff out that corner of irreplaceable Disney magic forever."
Well, Disney Parks clearly didn't read that or, y'know, care, because the attraction is headed to the big theme park in the sky after Saturday's final shows.
To help all of us cope with such a colossal loss, actor Andrew Barth Feldman crafted an absolutely brilliant tribute to the Muppets attraction that we know Kermit and the gang would be proud to watch.
Seriously, this is just wonderful. Feldman teaming up with Defunctland's Kevin Perjurer to send off Muppet*Vision 3D with a hysterical bang is just the best way any of this could go
We're going to miss Henson's great attraction like all get out, but we will fire this up whenever we need a smile... and the YouTube bootleg footage of the attraction itself, which you can watch below as many times as you'd like.
RIP Muppet*Vision 3D. We will miss you, your cannon fire, your cranky old men in the balcony, your penguin symphony and your floating cream pies. Sweetums forever.

It will be held April 18-19, with WrestleMania weekend events like SmackDown, the Hall of Fame Ceremony, NXT Stand and Deliver, and Raw After WrestleMania also taking place in the city. Wrestling's grandest event returns to Las Vegas after WrestleMania 41 took place there this year on April 19-20. This will be the second time in WWE history that WrestleMania will take place at the same venue in back-to-back years. The first instance was in 1988 and 1989 when WrestleMania IV and WrestleMania V was held at the Atlantic City Convention Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The announcement comes weeks after WWE decided to move the host city for the 2026 edition of the event. In February, The Rock revealed during an episode of SmackDown that WrestleMania 42 would take place at the Caesars Superdome April 11-12. However, that changed three months later. In a joint statement with TKO Group Holdings, Inc., owner of WWE, The Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation said WrestleMania 42 wouldn't take place in Louisiana, and instead the city would get the event in the future and New Orleans would get Money in the Bank 2026. No reason was given for why WWE changed plans. Why did WWE choose Las Vegas for WrestleMania 42? WWE did not specify why it opted to run it back in the same arena, but the idea of bringing WrestleMania back to Las Vegas was likely too enticing to pass up. Not long after the news about the location being moved, reported Las Vegas was the leading contender to host. While it wasn't an ideal decision for most fans since WrestleMania just took place there and the show has traditionally gone around the U.S., it made sense why the move was made. WrestleMania 42 was a major success for WWE with the largest gate for any event in its history and more than 124,000 fans for both nights. The event also broke merchandise, sponsorship and hospitality experiences records. WWE also was granted upwards of $4.24 million in tax credits for having the event in the city, according to Las Vegas Review-Journal. Plus, it can't be forgotten TKO Group Holdings Inc., owner of WWE, also owns UFC, which essentially lives in Las Vegas. Ownership's familiarity with the location and how to maximize profits from it is an easy move. The Las Vegas Strip was the ideal place to hold multiple events within close proximity of each other, rather than having to jump from different parts of the city. Mix in the fact the city is a top tourist destination, fans will definitely takeover, generating millions for Las Vegas. WrestleMania 41 was too big of a success to not try again. WrestleMania Las Vegas history With WrestleMania returning to Allegiant Stadium, it will be the third time the event takes place in Las Vegas. Besides WrestleMania 41 in 2025, the first time it happened in the city was in 1993 when WrestleMania 9 took place at Caesar's Palace. It was a notable event since it was the first time WWE held the event outdoors. For most the early years, WrestleMania was held in arenas, but it has taken place in stadiums since WrestleMania 23 in 2007 – with the exception of WrestleMania 36 due to COVID-19. This will mark the third WWE event Allegiant Stadium has hosted in its short history. SummerSlam 2021 took place at the indoor stadium and was the first professional wrestling event to happen there. The attendance of that event was 51,326. While it hasn't been confirmed, T-Mobile Arena is likely to host the shows part of the weekend. SmackDown, NXT Stand and Deliver and Raw After WrestleMania took place at the arena, and the Hall of Fame ceremony was at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas hotel. WrestleMania 41 was headlined as John Cena's final one as 2025 is his final year of in-ring competition. He beat Cody Rhodes in the main event to capture the Undisputed WWE Championship and become a record 17-time champion.

Amid Concerns About Inside The NBA's Future On ESPN, An Insider Dropped Claims About What The Network Is Planning

Credit: TNT The NBA on TNT is officially over, and with that comes the end of Inside the NBA's 36-year run on the network. Luckily, the show will return with its four main hosts, as ESPN struck a deal to air it, starting this fall. However, there have still been some concerns regarding this new era for the show. Some appear worried that the Disney-owned sports company will change up the show too much and take away its essence in the process. Amid that chatter, a source is dropping claims about what's being planned for the sports TV staple. Advertisement It goes without saying that Inside has a unique flow, one that's fueled by conversations headed up by its A+ personalities like Ernie Johnson and Charles Barkley. Of course, the series also makes use of excellent segments and provides the hosts with opportunities to participate in hilarious hijinks. (Barkley's even been pranked with a bucket of water on air.) As fans await the new season, an insider tells Front Office Sports that viewers shouldn't expect much to change: Some of the speculation's just nuts. ESPN has wanted Barkley and this show for 20 years. Now that they've got it, why would they change it? That source does pose an interesting question, considering Inside the NBA has been quite successful. Still, it's not uncommon for a massive organization to want to change up a TV program after acquiring it in order for it to better fit the brand. Sports journalist Bill Simmons was specifically concerned that ESPN would mess up Inside by tailoring the show to its sometimes commercial-heavy timeslots. Yet, if this insider is to be believed, the show will still air normally and the quartet of pundits will have an ample amount of time to shine. When the former TNT staple returns to the air this fall as part of the 2025 TV schedule, co-hosts Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, Shaquille O'Neal and Charles Barkley will reportedly still have a long postgame as they've always had. While they'll also still participate in pregame and halftime coverage as well, they'll also have live coverage for other major events. The reported plan is for the group to provide coverage for Christmas Day games, the NBA Finals, the Conference Finals, opening week and more, per FOS. All of that coverage may sound good for fans, but it might not gel with the hopes of at least one of the show's hosts. Charles Barkley, who rescinded his retirement from broadcasting in August 2024 before the ESPN deal was made, has been candid about waiting for more specifics about his work schedule. Barkley has been adamant about not wanting to work more frequently than he already is. While Barkley's TV career will continue for the time being, it's easy to get the feeling that execs are going to want to fill him in sooner rather than later. Advertisement So far, though, it would seem that the bigwigs at ESPN are seeking to maintain creative continuity, as they prepare for Inside the NBA's arrival. Company president Jimmy Pitaro spoke out and doubled down on the network's commitment to keeping the hosts together. As a longtime viewer of the program, I can understand the concerns that some of my fellow fans may have. But, until I see anything, I'm staying optimistic that this TV staple won't change too much. Let's hope Inside the NBA isn't negatively impacted by shifting networks as reported. And, if everything works out as hoped for, I'd imagine Charles Barkley won't mind going 'back to kissing ass.'

Miley Cyrus is leaving little to the imagination in her latest daring ensemble. The "Flowers" singer turned heads in a sheer dress dripping in crystals for the screening of her visual album, "Something Beautiful," at the Tribeca Film Festival. Cyrus, 32, wore a plunging naked dress embellished with crystals. A nude bodysuit was revealed underneath with ivory-colored fringes at the bottom. She completed her look with a matching fringe jacket. The red carpet ensemble was an SS25 Schiaparelli by Daniel Roseberry net dress. The pop star accessorized with a cream-colored matching clutch, designed with a unique gold face, and she wore matching pointed heels. Cyrus' hair was styled in Hollywood waves. "Seeing Something Beautiful on the big screen at @tribeca @beacontheatre surrounded by the screams of the audience, was so worth every bit of effort lovingly labored into this visual album," she wrote on Instagram. "Tonight was emotional, deep, fun & fabulous. All my favorite things, but YOU the crowd were my absolute favorite of all. I love you." Earlier this week, Cyrus stepped out in yet another bold outfit in New York City. She wore a sheer Ludovic de Saint Sernin black dress, which she accessorized with black underwear and no bra. The former Disney star also paired the look with black sunglasses and high heels and wore her blonde hair in an old-fashioned updo with curled bangs. She was photographed in the chic look as she signed vinyls for fans. The actress posted photos of her daring outfit on Instagram with the caption, "Posed with the beautiful people who showed up at 30 Rock for @roughtradenyc." Fans were quick to flood the comments section with compliments. "You're such [an] icon," one fan wrote, while another added, "Damn this dress" with a few fire emojis. A third fan wrote, "What a queen omg," while another wrote, "OKAY OKAY OKAY YOU ATE THIS LOOK UP MAAM." The visual album also includes a corresponding musical movie, which will be released in theaters everywhere June 27.
