Clarkson's Farm Season 5: Release date speculation, cast and plot details – Everything we know so far

By Aman Shukla Published on August 16, 2025, 19:00 IST Last updated August 16, 2025, 15:35 IST Alright, Clarkson's Farm fans, let's talk about the show that's got everyone obsessed with Jeremy Clarkson's wild farming life at Diddly Squat. Season 4 just dropped, and the buzz for Season 5 is already off the charts. Here's the scoop on when it might hit, who's returning, and what kind of chaos we're in for—everything known so far, straight from the farm! Is Clarkson's Farm Season 5 Happening? You bet it is! Amazon Prime Video didn't waste time, confirming Season 5 before Season 4 even aired. Jeremy spilled the beans in style on November 5, 2024, with a video showing drones lighting up the sky to spell out a giant '5.' Talk about a flex! Filming's already rolling at Diddly Squat, with camera crews spotted capturing the usual madness. Fans are hyped, and honestly, who wouldn't be? Release Date Speculation for Clarkson's Farm Season 5 No official release date yet, but let's piece it together. The show's dropped seasons at different times: June 2021 for Season 1, February 2023 for Season 2, and May for both Seasons 3 and 4 (2024 and 2025). Filming's happening now, but editing, voiceovers, and all that polish take a while. Some folks on X are guessing May 2025, but that feels like a stretch with filming still underway. Summer 2026—maybe May or June—seems more likely. Keep an eye out for Amazon's official word, probably closer to the premiere. Who's Back for Clarkson's Farm Season 5? The Diddly Squat crew is what makes the show, and the main gang's expected to return: Jeremy Clarkson : The loudmouth ex- Top Gear star who's somehow a farmer now. His crazy ideas and hilarious rants are the show's heartbeat. Kaleb Cooper : The young farming whiz who keeps Jeremy in check with savage one-liners. He's basically the farm's MVP. Lisa Hogan : Jeremy's partner, holding it down at the farm shop with her wit and zero patience for nonsense. Charlie Ireland : The land agent who's always saving Jeremy from paperwork disasters. Gerald Cooper: The legend with the thick accent and deadpan humor. Every scene he's in is gold. Big question: will Harriet Cowan be back? The 24-year-old farmhand stole hearts in Season 4 while Kaleb was off doing his theater tour. Fans are begging for her return, but she's staying tight-lipped. Fingers crossed she's back for more! There might be new faces too, especially if Jeremy's got some wild new project up his sleeve. What's the Plot for Clarkson's Farm Season 5? Plot details are hush-hush, but expect the usual mix of laughs, drama, and farming fails. Season 4 had Jeremy juggling The Farmer's Dog pub while dealing with crop disasters and skyrocketing costs. Season 5 will probably keep the cameras on Diddly Squat, with fresh challenges. Word on X is that Jeremy's been hit hard by weather—2024 was too soggy, 2025 too dry, and a recent 'catastrophic' harvest could set the stage for some intense moments. A shiny new John Deere tractor was spotted at the farm shop, and fans are losing it. After Jeremy's fancy Lamborghini tractor tanked in Season 4 (sold at a £14,500 loss, ouch), this new ride hints at big plans. Will it save the day or just spark more chaos? The show might lean into Jeremy's growing passion for speaking up for farmers, too—he's been vocal about stuff like net zero policies. Plus, a heartbreaking update about livestock testing positive for TB could bring some tear-jerker scenes. Grab the tissues! Tea, cakes and funny signs greet Vance in quintessentially British countryside

LONDON — JD Vance got a very English welcome after he, his family and their large security detail rolled through the village of Charlbury this week, just not the kind the vice president would have hoped for. Bathed in sunshine, dozens of demonstrators drank tea, ate cake featuring a meme of the vice president's face and held up humorous placards Tuesday in the small community in the Cotswolds, as this part of the countryside is known. 'JD Vance Netflix password is 'password,'' said one handmade sign at a protest near where the Vances are vacationing some 100 miles west of the capital, London. A second sign declared that Vance 'claps when the plane lands,' referring to a practice mocked by some Britons who see it as very un-British overenthusiasm. Others held placards quoting Vance when he said he 'never liked' President Donald Trump. 'Cotswolds childless cat ladies say go home,' another read, referring to comments Vance made to former Fox News host Tucker Carlson in 2021 about senior Democrats in Congress that resurfaced during last year's presidential race. In the nearby town of Chipping Norton, some locals said they were unprepared for the level of security disruption as some of the already tight roads in the area were closed for Vance's motorcade. Design manager Geoff Holliday, 51, said Wednesday he was 'getting bored' with the closures, adding that he was longing for the motorcade to be slowed down by 'a disgruntled farmer and a combine harvester.' Nestled among the rolling hills that rise up from meadows of the upper River Thames, the Cotswolds' picture-postcard towns and villages have been popular with holidaymakers for centuries. More recently, the area has attracted a wealthier crowd. Chipping Norton and its surrounding area are known for the 'Chipping Norton set,' including former Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife, Samantha Cameron; Elizabeth Murdoch, media executive and daughter of Rupert Murdoch; and more recently, comedian and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. Former "Top Gear" presenter Jeremy Clarkson's 'Diddly Squat Farm' in Chadlington is also nearby, and he shared an image on Instagram which highlighted how his farm is under a no-fly zone over the Cotswolds. Appearing to reference filming for his 'Clarkson's Farm' Amazon show, he wrote: 'The JD Vance no fly zone. We are the pin. So on the downside, no drone shots today. On the upside, no annoying light aircraft.'

5 best dark thriller movies to stream on Netflix

I love the thriller genre, but have a particular soft spot for dark thrillers. These movies, which often incorporate horror elements, explore bleak situations, humanity at its most savage and disturbing violence. While none of the movies on this list could ever be considered 'light entertainment,' if you're looking for a thriller that will give you chills, have you wincing in shock at the hardship endured by their lead characters and are packed full of unexpected twists, these five are essential. Plus, all of them are available on the world's biggest streaming service, Netflix. From a twisting trip that explores the dangers of obsession to a period piece that proves not all miracles are what they appear, these are the five best dark thrillers on Netflix worth watching right now. One of Netflix's biggest international success stories, you may have heard of 'The Platform' before. It's a streaming original that deserves its level of reputation and recognition because it pairs together an intriguing sci-fi idea with a fascinating exploration of human nature, and for those just after a descent into some savage place, you'll find exactly what you're craving. 'The Platform' is set in a future prison that is comprised of a series of individual levels arranged in a seemingly never-ending tower block. Every day, a concrete platform of food is slowly lowered down the block, with the people at the top eating like royalty, and those down below left with only scraps. We focus on a man named Goreng (Iván Massagué) as he attempts to survive this dystopian jail. I should also give a fair warning that you'll want to skip the movie snacks for this one, because several scenes will turn your stomach. Watch "The Platform" on Netflix now Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. While plenty of dark thrillers contain horror elements, 'The Ritual' is not one for viewers who can't tolerate the odd jump scare. This supernatural folk thriller is seriously spooky, but it's also rich with well-developed, if not always likable, characters. Plus, the eerie setting of the Swedish wilderness adds suspense and dread to the proceedings. Six months after the death of their friend in a robbery gone wrong, four middle-aged men reunite to hike through the Scandinavian mountains in their friend's memory. Making the foolish decision to step off the beaten path and take a 'shortcut' through the forest, they quickly become lost and believe that someone, or something, is stalking them. Just be sure to select the right movie. There's another movie called 'The Ritual' released earlier this year, which is a complete skip. Watch "The Ritual" on Netflix now The mark of a good dark thriller is when it makes you feel genuinely uneasy, and 'Calibre' does that often. This small-scale but intense movie had me sitting bolt upright on my sofa, and racking my own brain in an attempt to figure out how the two lead characters were going to get out of the terrifying predicament they find themselves in. "Calibre" is completely bone-chilling, and I love it. Vaughn (Jack Lowden) and Marcus (Martin McCann) are two childhood best friends traveling to the remote Scottish Highlands for a weekend away. The duo plan to go hunting, but while roaming the forest for game, they make a terrible mistake, and the consequences of their actions spiral completely out of control. Yes, that's an extremely vague plot write-up, but I'm deliberately holding my cards close to the chest, because 'Calibre' is best enjoyed with as little known ahead of time (I would even recommend skipping the trailer). Watch "Calibre" on Netflix now 'The Perfection' is one of the most skin-crawling dark thrillers I've ever seen. And I mean that quite literally, there's a highly disturbing sequence where a character believes bugs are bursting out of her arm. And that's just the tip of the iceberg, in this warped trip that goes to several bleak and very gruesome places. It's not a thriller movie for the faint of heart. Charlotte Willmore (Allison Williams) is a gifted cellist who is forced to leave her prestigious music academy to care for her sick mother. Returning to the fold after her mother's death, Charlotte meets Lizzie (Logan Browning), another musical prodigy, who has effectively replaced her as the star pupil and personal favorite of Anton (Steven Weber), the school's head. What follows is a nightmare ordeal for both of them, but I won't spoil any more, as there are plenty of surprising twists to discover. Watch "The Perfection" on Netflix now One of Florence Pugh's most overlooked movies, 'The Wonder,' is a period thriller based on the 2019 novel of the same name by Emma Donoghue. At its core is a compelling mystery, and as it progresses, the darker side of faith comes to the surface as Pugh's character, an English nurse named Elizabeth, struggles to convince the residents of a small Irish town that what they believe to be a miracle might not be quite what it seems. Elizabeth is sent to the rural village to monitor a young girl (Kíla Lord Cassidy) who, it is claimed, hasn't eaten in four months. Far from malnourished, the girl appears to be in good health and claims she is surviving by consuming 'manna from Heaven.' Despite her family's insistence that this is a miracle from above, Elizabeth seeks to discover the truth of the situation. 'The Wonder' is a slow-burn dramatic thriller anchored by a predictably strong turn from Pugh. Watch "The Wonder" on Netflix now
