Rajasthan Chief Minister Announces Recruitment For Over 26,000 Government Posts
In a remarkable move, recruitment notifications for these posts were issued, offering a significant employment boost to thousands of aspirants across the state.
As part of this drive, major recruitment have been announced in the education sector, including 3,225 posts of professors in various subjects and 6,500 posts of senior teachers in the Secondary Education Department.
Additionally, 2,759 posts of Level-1 and Level-2 teachers have been announced in the Sanskrit Education Department, along with 5,000 Level-1 teacher posts in the Elementary Education Department.
The Home Department will recruit 1,015 Sub-Inspectors, including 896 SI (AP), 4 SI (AP) Sahariya, 25 SI (AP) Scheduled Area, 26 SI (IB), and 64 Platoon Commander (SI) posts.
Moreover, 84 posts of Platoon Commander have been advertised in the Home Defense Department. In the agriculture and animal husbandry sectors, advertisements have been issued for 1,100 posts of Agriculture Supervisor, 281 posts of Assistant Engineer (Agriculture), and 1,100 posts of Veterinary Officer.
The Forest Department will recruit for 785 posts including Forester, Forest Guard, and Surveyor positions. Additionally, 2,163 posts have been notified in the Energy Department, and 1,050 miscellaneous posts in the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED). The Ayurveda Department will also recruit 1,535 contractual Ayush Officers.
In an event held in Dadiya, Jaipur, during the 'Cooperation and Employment Festival', more than 8,000 youth received appointment letters in the presence of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. To date, the Rajasthan government has provided over 75,000 government jobs, and a recruitment calendar for more than 81,000 posts has already been released for the year 2025.
In another key administrative decision, the number of members in the Rajasthan Public Service Commission has been increased from 7 to 10, to further streamline the recruitment process. This massive recruitment initiative reflects the state government's strong commitment to youth empowerment, transparent governance, and efficient public service delivery, said officials.

He pointed out that India's economy is in the fourth position globally and, with its emergence as a key player in new and emerging technologies, green energy, and innovation, the security challenges before the nation would also multiply in the years to come. 'Security, Alertness, Coordination' In view of the evolving threats, the home minister called for better coordination among central and state agencies. He directed the formation of homogenous teams to develop, implement, and monitor security strategies effectively. He also stressed the importance of involving young police officers in each state to brainstorm and offer innovative solutions to national challenges. Referring to the three new criminal laws that recently came into force, the minister said the same seriousness with which Left-Wing Extremism (LWE) and situations in the Northeast and Jammu and Kashmir were tackled must be shown in ensuring the effective implementation of these laws and in the fight against narcotics. He asked Directors General of Police across states to focus on the next three years as a mission period for a 'Nasha Mukt Bharat' (Drugs-Free India) and emphasised the need for going after drug cartels, securing the extradition of narco-offenders, and adopt a top-to-bottom and bottom-to-top approach in anti-narcotics efforts. Push For Real-Time Data Sharing Mr Shah called for establishing a reliable ecosystem for real-time data sharing and directed all agencies to integrate databases like NATGRID (National Intelligence Grid), NIDAAN (National Integrated Database on Arrested Narco Offenders), iMoT (Integrated Monitoring of Terrorism) and CBI's fugitive database into their day-to-day operations. He instructed that these tools be made a core part of all police training programmes to ensure better tech-driven enforcement on the ground. Highlighting the role of police stations as the first point of intelligence gathering, he called for a platform to enable real-time information sharing up to the station level. Maritime Security Mr Shah also stressed the need for all-round development in LWE-affected areas and urged police forces to coordinate with state administrations to ensure the timely implementation of over 300 central and state schemes at the grassroots level. On maritime security, the home minister flagged concerns over infiltration and smuggling along India's long coastal borders and emphasised the capacity building of state police forces to secure smaller seaports and prevent illegal activity. 'Excellence And Competition' Calling the internal security situation dynamic due to India's complex geopolitical neighbourhood, the home minister said the motto of " Suraksha, Sajagta, Samanvay" (Security, Alertness, Coordination) must become the guiding principle of all agencies. He urged the police leadership to strive for excellence, protect the life, property and dignity of every citizen, and nurture healthy competition in addressing internal security challenges. Mr Shah said the next five to ten years would be critical for India's security and development, and underlined that the Modi government has already resolved numerous issues scattered across states. He ended his address with a call for habitual alertness and a security-first mindset, saying these must now become an integral part of India's policing framework.

We must stay more vigilant and tackle problems with heightened awareness.' Highlighting the importance of the Conference, Shah said, the deliberations at the event enable senior officers to guide young officers and familiarise them with challenges by showing them the path in finding solutions. 'Police forces of all states and central investigative agencies should move forward with the goal of becoming the best in the world,' he exhorted, while adding that to address the challenges coming before the nation, a reliable ecosystem for real-time data sharing must be established.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday said the country's internal security challenges would remain dynamic in view of India's geo-political neighbourhood. Delivering the concluding address at the eighth National Security Strategies Conference (NSSC) here, Shah also said that demonstrating strong political will, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again not only reaffirmed the policy of zero tolerance against terrorism, but also presented it before the world in a remarkable manner through Operation Sindoor. "Observing that the internal security challenges would remain dynamic in view of India's geo-political neighbourhood, Shah exhorted the state police forces and Central security agencies to adopt the motto of 'Suraksha, Sajagta and Samanvay' (security, alertness and coordination)," an official statement said. Stating that the Modi government has resolved numerous issues scattered across various states, Shah said, "India is one of the fastest emerging economies, and with that, the challenges before the country are also increasing. We must stay more vigilant and tackle problems with heightened awareness." He also called the NSSC significant in enabling senior officers to guide young officers, familiarise them with challenges, and show them the path to finding solutions. The home minister said the forces of all states and Central investigating agencies should move forward with the goal of becoming the best in the world. He also advocated the need for a top-to-bottom and bottom-to-top approach in initiating action against the big drug cartels, besides focusing on extradition of narco-offenders. The DGsP were directed to make it the prime agenda of the police for the next three years in the path towards 'Nasha Mukt Bharat', the statement said. Pointing out that the police station is the focal point of intelligence collection, he called upon the police leadership to evolve a credible platform for sharing real-time information up to the police station level. Emphasising the primary duty of the police to protect the life, property and dignity of citizens, the home minister directed each state police force and Central agency to strive towards excellence, and nurture a spirit of healthy competition to address the internal security challenges. Stressing upon the need for all-round development in the LWE affected areas, Shah urged the DGsP to coordinate with state administrations to ensure the implementation of more than 300 Central and state development schemes at the grassroots level. Underscoring the importance of securing smaller seaports along the country's maritime borders, Shah emphasised capacity building of state police to counter infiltration and smuggling activities. He also reviewed the counter-terror initiatives and directed to take stringent legal action against the repeat offenders. Earlier he paid homage to the martyrs on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas and saluted the efforts of the armed forces and BSF during Operation Sindoor.
