El Ghawy: A Comeback Charged with Power
The second half of Ramadan is already packed with dramas that have taken over everyone's conversations. But one series that's standing out with its unique mix of emotions and intensity is El Ghawy. Since the trailer dropped, people had mixed feelings — would it be a hit or a miss? But now that the episodes are rolling, it's clear the winning side is gaining momentum. Ahmed Mekky's shift couldn't have come at a better time. While we all love El Kebir and the laughs he gave us, there's always been a sense that Mekky has more to offer, and with Shams, we're finally seeing that. He's bold, fearless, and never playing in the grey area. Opposite him is Aicha Ben Ahmed, who brings Fatma to life with a beautiful blend of innocence, spontaneity, and subtle romance. Her chemistry with Mekky is one to watch — and we're pretty sure it's only going to get stronger as the story unfolds. Five episodes in, and it's safe to say the plot is picking up fast. Under the direction of Mando El Adl, El Ghawy is shaping up to be a promising Ramadan watch.
