Huge delays on Edinburgh Bypass as drivers urged to 'use caution'

Edinburgh drivers using the A720 on Sunday have been warned of delays.
Traffic could be seen building on the Edinburgh Bypass from around 1pm, with delays of up to 30 minutes. Motorists have been warned of a 'high volume' at the Gilmerton Junction westbound.
Lane restrictions are also in place between the Baberton and Dreghorn Junctions.

Traffic Scotland said: "The A720 westbound from Gilmerton Junction currently has high volumes of traffic and travel systems indicate 27 minutes delays.

"Road users are advised to use caution on approach."
On Twitter, they added: "Long queues on the A720 this afternoon, especially heading west.
