With the 2025 NFL draft behind us, ESPN has released their post-draft power rankings, and for the Indianapolis Colts, they would end up dropping a spot compared to where they were prior to the draft taking place.
After being No. 23 in ESPN's post-free agency power rankings, the Colts now sit at No. 24, having swapped spots with the New England Patriots, who jumped them.
Overall, my guess is that the drop down ESPN's power-ranking board is less about the Colts' draft class and more so about the overall uncertainty that still exists with this team due to the unknowns at quarterback.
In terms of the draft, it's hard not to like what the Colts were able to accomplish. They plugged their biggest need at tight end with Tyler Warren, who was considered by many to be the top prospect at that position in this year's draft.
In addition to that, JT Tuimoloau, DJ Giddens, and Tim Smith should all be able to step into rotational roles at their respective positions and give the Colts a boost. Also, not to be overlooked, but Jalen Travis in the mix at offensive tackle and providing that position with added depth, gives the Colts added flexibility to move Matt Goncalves to right guard.
But while all that can be true, the ceiling for the Colts--like any NFL team--is going to be determined by the play of the quarterback, and regardless of who the starter is come Week 1--Anthony Richardson or Daniel Jones--until proven otherwise on the football field, question marks will linger with this team.

'I love ya and keep it up.' Sandler came up during Patrick's interview with Henry because Patrick was hearing a hoodie for the soon-to-be-released 'Happy Gilmore 2.' Sandler had given Patrick the hoodie. 'Can you do me a favor?' Henry asked Patrick. 'If you ever see him again, tell him I'm a really big fan and would really love to meet him one day.' Patrick left Sandler a voice message — and Sandler responded. 'Dan you're a real one!' Henry later wrote on social media. Henry rushed for 2,027 yards with Tennessee in 2020, when he was an All-Pro and the AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year in the fifth of his eight seasons with the Titans. Henry nearly did it again as a 30-year-old in a resurgence with the Ravens last season, when he ran for 1,921 yards.
