After expulsion from RJD, Tej Pratap Yadav ‘needs love, trust' from 'dear mummy papa' Lalu Yadav, Rabri Devi
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's elder son Tej Pratap Yadav broke silence after his 'irresponsible behaviour' led to the expulsion from the party on May 25 for six years. He has sought love and trust from his parents, while calling them his 'whole world'.
'My dear mom and dad. My whole world is just you two. You and any order given by you are greater than God. If you are there then I have everything. I just need your trust and love and nothing else,' Tej Pratap Yadav stated on X.
Tej Pratap, without naming anyone, seemed to criticise certain RJD members by comparing them to 'Jaichand", a historical symbol of betrayal.
'Papa, if you were not there then this party would not have been there and neither would greedy people like Jaichand who do politics with me. Just mummy papa, may you both always be healthy and happy,' Yadav added.
The disciplinary action was prompted by a controversial Facebook post in which he claimed to have been in a 12-year romantic relationship with a woman named Anushka Yadav. The post went viral and sparked widespread discussion, with many questioning why Tej Pratap chose to marry in 2018 if he was already in a relationship.
He had tied the knot with Aishwarya Rai, the daughter of senior politician Chandrika Rai, that year. However, the marriage ended within months, and a divorce case is currently ongoing.
Lalu declared his son's expulsion from the party and a severance of personal relationships, stating, 'Ignoring moral values in personal life weakens our collective struggle for social justice. He will no longer have any role in the party or the family.'
'He is capable of seeing the good and bad and merits and demerits of his personal life. All those who maintain relations with him should do so at their discretion. I have always been an advocate of maintaining a sense of honour in public life. The obedient members of the family have adopted and followed this principle in public life. Thank you,' Lalu added.
Tej Pratap initially refuted posting the message and claimed that his social media accounts were hacked, saying, 'My platforms have been hacked, and my pictures are being wrongly edited to harass and defame me and my family,' requesting his followers not to believe rumours.

Pak agent gave Rs 15,000 to Thane man as gift
RAVI VARMA (27), the Thane resident arrested last week by the Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) for allegedly providing sensitive information to a Pakistan Intelligence Operative (PIO), had put his company's name and phone number on his social media profile, making him an easy target of enemy spies, officials said. Varma, who was honey-trapped by the PIO posing as a college student from Punjab, worked for a defence firm contracted by the Indian Navy. Initially, the PIO contacted him on messenger through fake accounts but he blocked them. The Pakistani agent then contacted him directly on WhatsApp as his mobile number too was mentioned on his profile, an official said, adding that those working in sensitive sectors should not mention personal details on their social media accounts as PIOs actively seek such information online. Giving details of how he was honey-trapped, the official said initially the PIO posed as a girl, identifying herself as 'Preety', a student of Panjab University, and contacted him on Facebook messenger. She said she had a college project related to construction of a ship and needed his help. He blocked her. She then contacted him from another account identifying herself as 'Ashpreet'. She requested him to help her or she would fail. Eventually, she called him on WhatsApp and, over a period of time, he allegedly sent her photographs of maps of ships that he drew after visiting restricted areas in Mumbai port. He also chatted with one of her 'professors' whom he addressed as 'Sir'. 'She also gave him around Rs 15,000 to purchase things for his sister's children. In fact, his sister had a fight with the woman, asking her to leave her brother. However, by then he was smitten by her and had passed on enough sensitive details,' the official said. The official said the private defence company in Navi Mumbai for which he worked, the terms and conditions specifically mentions that employees are not meant to share sensitive information they have access to because of the nature of their job. The accused was produced before the Thane court on Monday and his custody extended.

AIMIM keen to contest Bihar assembly elections with 'INDIA' bloc
PATNA: Asaduddin Owaisi's AIMIM, often criticised by the Congress and RJD as the 'B-team' of the BJP, is now making active efforts to join hands with the INDIA bloc for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections, scheduled for October-November this year. AIMIM's Bihar chief and MLA Akhtarul Iman told reporters on Tuesday that his party had reached out to RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav through some MLAs with a proposal to contest the elections together, especially in the Muslim-dominated Seemanchal region. He said AIMIM is firmly against the BJP and now it's up to Tejashwi to respond to the alliance proposal. 'Our MLAs told me that the offer has not been rejected so far,' Iman said. During his last visit to Bihar, Owaisi had accused the RJD of engineering defections in his party but expressed confidence that AIMIM would win at least 24 seats in the upcoming election. The party plans to contest 50 seats across the state. Akhtarul Iman said AIMIM is keen to fight the polls in alliance with RJD and Congress but warned that if talks fail, the blame for any vote split should not fall on his party. 'No single party can defeat communal forces. A united fight against BJP is needed,' he added. In the 2020 assembly polls, AIMIM surprised many by winning five seats in Seemanchal. However, four of its MLAs later defected to the RJD. Back then, AIMIM had contested as part of the Grand Democratic Secular Front alongside Upendra Kushwaha's RLSP and Mayawati's BSP. While AIMIM won five seats, the BSP bagged one, whose MLA, Zama Khan, later joined JD(U) and became a minister. Sources in RJD say that AIMIM's request to join the INDIA bloc has met with stiff opposition from the Left parties. However, both RJD and Congress are in favour of including AIMIM, given its influence in Seemanchal. While the RJD-Congress is said to have offered the AIMIM 8–10 seats, the Hyderabad-based party is pushing for 24 seats in the region, which includes Kishanganj, Araria, Katihar, and Purnea.
