Love Island viewers left disgusted after discovering Harry's 'weird fetish'
Love Island viewers have claimed that they've discovered Harry Cooksley 's 'fetish' as he cosied up with Shakira Khan during last night's show. The footballer, 30, is just days away from the final on the ITV2 dating show and in Monday night's instalment on the show, viewers watched as he took Shakira off for a chat in the dressing room.
The pair recently recoupled after the Graftie awards, with Harry choosing Shakira over on/off girlfriend Helena Ford. Unpacking the recoupling, Harry told her: "That was not easy. Not in terms of who I was going to pick, but just both of you [Shakira and Helena] being stood up there."
Shakira replied: "I can't believe we're back at day two, right back to where we started. Further back if that's even possible. This is no good." The pair both vowed that they would take 'baby steps' in going forward so that they could get used to the situation, and enjoyed a cuddle together. But as Harry leaned in for a kiss, Shakira turned to give him her cheek.
But Harry then brought up the fact that one of them stank, and Shakira replied: "It's me, I'm ponging." An excited Harry said: "Are you? What a shame, come closer." The moment did not go unnoticed by viewers and they flooded social media with their reactions as they began to discover Harry's secret thing for armpits. One viewer wrote: "Harry's armpit obsession needs to be studied," whilst another wrote: "I thought Emma was the weirdo for the armpit thing, but it turns out Harry is the armpit fetish freak."
A third said: "Harry's an actual weird man you know, wtf was that about another girls armpit you wanna smell?" whilst another declared: "Would be Harry that has an armpit fetish wouldn't it. Just makes sense."
One fan did not take too kindly to learning of Harry's fetish and said: "I really didn't not need to know about Harry's armpit/smell fetish thank you very much! Like that knowledge has not improved my life a single iota!"
Since the series has began, Harry has caught the eye of both Shakira and Helena, and his football club left fans outraged when they asked his pals back in the UK which woman he is better suited to. Farnham posted the results on TikTok and despite since deleting the clip, there was outrage at some of the replies from the footballers and coaches after it surfaced again.
One player said: "He wants either Beyonce, or he wants Bonnie Blue" before saying Helena "would be good in bed" and offering more grim guidance. Another spoke to the camera and said: "He thinks Shakira is girlfriend material, but really, really, really wants to have sex with Helena."
Even manager Paul Johnson waded in, saying: "Bin off Shakira, 100 per cent. She's a drip, nosey b***h." The comments kept on coming and a squad member went on: "Get rid of Shakira, she is as annoying as f**k" as another simply added: "I don't care, just get him back here and get him running."
The clip found its way onto X and was slammed by many online. One wrote on the social media platform: "First time seeing this & I'm horrified, but not surprised! I have a 25yr old son who wouldn't dream of speaking like this about women. Who dragged up these cretins?!"
Another said: "Hate it. disgusting. a sickness on society. where's antiseptic for my eyes?!" A third commented: "And people wonder why Harry acts like he does." On TikTok, someone else told the club they need to offer "serious education" for the "absolute buffoons". MirrorOnline have approached Farnham Town for comment.
But other fans on social media have declared their support for the couple, with one claiming: "IF THERE IS A VOTE IM VOTING HARRY AND SHAKIRA WITH NO SHAME #LoveIsland," admitted one user.
Another added: "Just watch! People will vote for Harry and Shakira," while a third said: "Yessss Harry beautiful speech, you're back in the game. Team Harry and Shakira"
Love Island 2025 airs every night at 9PM on ITV2 and ITVX.

Meghan Markle left 'in tears' over Prince William's brutal 'bullying' statement
Buckingham Palace issued a joint statement about 'bullying' that left Meghan in tears and Harry furious. It's safe to say that Prince Harry and Prince William haven't seen eye-to-eye recently. The estranged royal brothers have carved out their separate lives on opposite sides of the Atlantic since the Sussexes stepped down from royal life after they married. And in the Sussexes' controversial Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, the couple took aim at William. The series recalls a point that Harry claims left him furious and his wife in floods of tears. The issue came when Harry did not give his permission for a joint palace statement to be put out dismissing bullying claims, reports the Mirror. It comes as Harry and Meghan's latest attempt to "build bridges and move on" has backfired, according to a leading royal expert. Speaking over clips of the brothers playing in an old fire truck and newspaper headlines about the acrimony in their relationship in episode five, Harry said in the show: "I mean, the saddest part of it was this wedge created between me and my brother so that he's now on the institution's side. "And I get, part of that I get. I understand right? That's his inheritance, so to some extent it's already ingrained in him that part of his responsibility is the survivability and the continuation of this institution. "That day, a story came out that part of the reason why Meghan and I were leaving was because William had bullied us out. And once I got in the car after the meeting, I was told about a joint statement that had been put out in my name and my brother's name squashing the story about him bullying us out of the family. "I couldn't believe it. No one had asked me permission to put my name to a statement like that. And I rang M and I told her and she burst into floods of tears because within four hours they were happy to lie to protect my brother and yet for three years, they were never willing to tell the truth to protect us." It comes as King Charles and Harry's senior aides held a secret peace summit in London last month, said to be the first notable step in in a 'rapprochement process' where broken bonds can finally heal. The Mail on Sunday revealed that Meredith Maines, the Duke of Sussexes' chief communications officer, flew in from LA to meet Tobyn Andreae, the King's communications secretary, at the members-only Royal Over-Seas League club, which is located near Clarence House, the King's London residence. Prince Harry's UK PR team lead, Liam Maguire, was also present. A source told the publication: "There's a long road ahead, but a channel of communication is now open for the first time in year. There was no formal agenda, just casual drinks. There were things both sides wanted to talk about." While Prince William's team were reportedly not invited to the shock summit, experts have revealed the hidden role he will have likely played behind the scenes as the future of the monarchy. They claim that while William is far less inclined to reconcile with his estranged brother, whom he's reportedly not spoken to in years, the meeting would have never happened without his 'support and understanding'. "He has undoubtedly been furious at the way the Sussexes have behaved and undoubtedly regards Harry's behaviour as treason of a sort. They reportedly have not spoken in over two years.' And royal author Phil Dampier said: "The King is more anxious to patch things up than William, who I believe will never be close to his brother again." Harry is due to head back to the UK in September for the annual WellChild events, an opportunity which could see him reunite with his dad for the first time in 18 months. But William doesn't appear to have any plans to see his brother, despite the peace talks. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! (Image: Molly-Mae Hague Instagram) Tommy Fury wouldn't want his daughter going on Love Island when she is older. The 26-year-old boxer found love with Molly-Mae Hague on the 2019 series of the show and they went on to have daughter Bambi, now two, and the reality star admitted he isn't keen for his little girl to follow in his footsteps in either TV or sport. Asked how he'd feel if Bambi went on Love Island, he told the Telegraph magazine: "Oh, that's a good question. I don't even want to think about that... "I'd do my f***ing best [to stop her]! I don't know. I don't know! I'll support her through anything." And on the idea of her boxing, he said: "No. She's too pretty to be a boxer. I'm going to take the black eyes and the broken ribs and the broken hands, so she doesn't have to." Tommy and Molly-Mae split in August 2024 but later reunited and he's keen to have a large family. He said: "I'd love to give Bambi a sibling." Asked how many kids he wants, he said: "Forty. "Me and Molly have had private conversations. I don't think she's quite on track for 40... "Obviously, I'm not the one giving birth. But all I ever wanted to do from when I was a young boy, I just wanted to have a family and do my boxing and look after them. My family is everything. I don't care what happens in my life. I don't care if boxing goes. Because if it were to happen again, I've got my family." Tommy admitted it was love at first sight for him when Molly-Mae entered the Love Island villa as a bombshell. He said: "As soon as I saw her, it was game over. She's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life. Inside and out. She is the best thing that's ever happened to me. Article continues below "She probably thought, 'Who is this guy? What is he doing near me?' I think if I was going on a date with myself, I'd be a bit like that." Tommy only signed up for the show because he wanted a free holiday. He admitted of his motivation: "My fight had got cancelled. I could do with a holiday. I haven't got money to go. Don't forget - I'm not Bill Gates's son. I don't come from millions of pounds."

The 28-year-old also boasted that he has scrapped a documentary about his comeback after his two year hiatus for mental health woes. Lewis, speaking in the USA, insisted that online chat of him and Ed Sheeran being foes is utterly wrong - but instead they love larking around with jokes about their issues. "No contact whatsoever and nor do I want anything to do with me. " Lewis Capaldi opens up about Paige Turley split with rant on live radio about Love Island and her UK fame Lewis admitted that fans will have to wait some time before seeing the true depth of his personal woes which led to a two year hiatus. He filmed a proposed secondary doc about his plight, but admits there are issues. He said: "We tried to get a second one on the go, and then it fell through for some reasons, unbeknownst to me. "We were going to do a second one and we filmed it. It's all done, but yeah, it stalled slightly. "I don't want people to be like, oh, here comes the documentary guide. I don't want it to be like my thing where every time I come out I have to cover a day that's really either sad or triumphant or something. "I put a lot of work in, but for me I'm glad that we put the music out first and let the music speak way or two for everything, and then maybe down the line, if we can work something out, it might come out." Speaking to Z100 in New York, Lewis opened up on his friendship with Ed Sheeran. Lewis once made comments about the pair jamming in various studios worldwide, but fired off negative comments prompting a rivalry. "We squashed the beef. I went around to his recently and he's got a sauna and we swam in his little lake and then we watched a TV show together. Been in the bar. It's great. We had a Lovely, lovely, lovely old time. "Me and me and Mr. Sheeran. So yeah, beef squashed for now. I'm sure he'll do something else to piss me " Capaldi was teased by his songwriters and bandmates that the work was not good enough. Capaldi noted that his time away from the stage was tough. He said: "I missed it for sure. I didn't think I would realize how much I would miss it. I took two years off and then when we came back and did some warmup shows. "The first show up, I cried because I was so overwhelmed by how much it was just such a beautiful moment and yeah, I've missed it so much. So I'm dying to get back. "We're straight to rehearsals for our tours and all that stuff, so it's full on. We're back and it feels really good. The music is so secondary."
