The wait is over — the official trailer for Tamer Hosny's Restart is finally here
Restart is set to hit cinemas on May 29.
The film reunites Tamer Hosny and Hannah El Zahed, following their success in 2022's Bahebak.
Leading the cast, Hosny and El Zahed are joined by a strong ensemble, including Essam El Sakka, Bassem Samra, Mimi Gamal, Mohamed Tharwat, and Rania Mansour, with special guest appearances by Elham Shaheen, Mohamed Ragab, Shaimaa Seif, and Ahmed Hossam Mido.
Restart is written by Ayman Bahgat Qamar and directed by Sarah Wafik.

Tamer Hosny Teams Up with Mohamed Mounir for New Song "El Zoq El Aly": Watch Teaser
Yara Sameh Egyptian singer-actor Tamer Hosny and 'The King' Mohamed Mounir have collaborated on "El Zoq El Aly,". It is by the lyrics of Tamer Hussein, and composed by Mohamed Rahim. The song was also filmed as a music video, with a short teaser already making waves online. Tamer Hosny Delays Album "Lena Maad": Here's When It Arrives
Yara Sameh Egyptian singer-actor Tamer Hosny announced Wednesday that his upcoming studio album, "Lena Maad," has been delayed from July 10 to July 15. Due to reasons beyond our control and because of the internet issue in Egypt, I have just been informed by the companies responsible for releasing and distributing the album that it cannot be released tomorrow due to the internet not yet returning to its full and normal capacity, which will consequently prevent the artistic content from reaching all internet users in Egypt properly. As a result, the album release date has been postponed to Tuesday, July 15, instead of Thursday, July 10," he said in a statement on Instagram. Hosny released his last album 'Hormone ElSaada' in 2023. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Tamer Hosny (@tamerhosny) Hosny, born on August 16, 1977, began his career when renowned TV presenter Salma Al Shamaa gave him his lifetime opportunity to perform at the Cairo Opera House. During his performance, he worked alongside other rising talents including, Sherine Mohamed Abdel-Wahab; the performance was attended by renowned producer Nasr Mahrous. Ever since, Hosny worked closely with Mahrous and released his first album, which consequently achieved great success and opened the gates of stardom and fame, not only in singing but also in the entertainment industry. He made his acting debut in the 2004 film 'Halet Hob', co-starring Hany Salama, Hend Sabry, and others. Hosny is known for singing 'Kol Mara', 'Bent El Eh' and 'Aktar Haga', and for his roles in films such as 'Omar and Salma' and 'Captin Hema'.
