m-FINANCE Collaborates With CBCX To Provide Traders With Enhanced Market Access

DETROIT, MICHIGAN - April 2, 2025 ( NEWMEDIAWIRE) - In this global market where news and developments happen at breakneck speed, brokers need access to ultra-fast execution with minimal latency to maintain a trading edge. After all, even a few seconds can mean the difference between making and losing money.
That's particularly true in forex trading, where exchange rates fluctuate based on a plethora of factors, from economic data to global news. Change can happen quickly, requiring traders to be immediately ready to enter and exit positions.
m-FINANCE Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of mF International Limited (NASDAQ: MFI) (MFI) and a provider of forex and bullion trading solutions in Asia, is enhancing its offering, keeping such needs of traders in mind, with its new partnership with CBCX Markets Ltd., a multi-asset liquidity provider from London (CBCX).
The Need For Speed
The partnership is intended to provide brokers with enhanced market access with tighter spreads and deeper liquidity, which m-FINANCE believes will enhance trading conditions. Through the collaboration, m-FINANCE expects its brokerage clients to be able to improve execution and trading strategies. Both companies will be focused on providing their customers with cutting-edge liquidity solutions. m-FINANCE anticipates that, with optimized execution, brokers will have access to deeper liquidity pools, which can boost efficiency and reduce 'slippage', while minimizing costs. Slippage occurs when the price of an executed trade is different from the expected price.
'With over 20 years of experience in the forex and bullion markets, we understand the critical importance of market-leading liquidity in driving execution speed, pricing efficiency, and superior trading performance,' said Chi Weng (Dick) Tam, the executive director and CEO of m-FINANCE. 'We believe that CBCX has built a strong reputation for delivering institutional-grade liquidity. Through CBCX, brokers can connect to top-tier banks, non-banks and Equinix's ECN liquidity providers with minimal delays or lag times, resulting in faster execution. We look forward to working closely with their team to provide our clients with unique trading opportunities.'
m-FINANCE's Prowess On Display
m-FINANCE anticipates its brokerage clients will have ultra-fast execution with minimal latency, as it will provide its customers access to its proprietary feature that it believes will allow brokers to secure a fixed spread of profit when hedging orders and at the same time maintain full STP connectivity. STP, or straight-through processing, is an automated electronic workflow that allows for a seamless processing of transactions.
The partnership with CBCX marks another step in the company's ongoing efforts to deliver innovation to its trading clients.

AI Search Engine Perplexity Gains Traction vs. Google

Perplexity keeps breaking records, clocking 780 million searches in Maya 20% jump from Aprilas CEO Aravind Srinivas told Bloomberg Tech Summit attendees that people are tired of legacy browsers like Chrome. If Perplexity can keep this momentum, Srinivas believes it could hit 1 billion weekly queries soon, thanks to everything happening in its search bar, new-tab page and sidecar interface that drives extra engagement. Warning! GuruFocus has detected 3 Warning Sign with PYPL. The startup, backed by Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) and Jeff Bezos, is also gearing up to launch Comet within three to five weeks. Comet is Perplexitys new agentic search service that does things for youlike record your virtual meetings, transcribe them and let you search what was said. Srinivas admitted building those features has been harder than anticipated, but he says reliability and speed have improved, and everyones working super hard to get the browser out in your hands. Perplexity just added a way to buy products directly in chat via PayPal (NASDAQ:PYPL) or Venmo, hinting at future revenue beyond ads. That matters because Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) still owns about 90% of search trafficand even though Bing sits in second with around 4%, Perplexitys off-the-charts growth and $14 billion valuation (up from $9 billion in December) show investors are betting that a browser-native, AI-first experience could steal user time and queries. Investors should keep an eye on whether Perplexity can sustain these gains once Comet goes live; this summers traffic pick-up and early feedback on Comet will be key gauges. Before you invest in an annuity, you may want to know how much your monthly payments could be with this retirement it comes to retirement planning, everyone has their own goals in mind, but one thing nearly everyone wants is predictable income. And, at a time when the stock market seems to swing on every headline and savings account interest still doesn't keep pace with inflation, a fixed monthly paycheck in retirement can be a need, not a want — and that's exactly what annuities aim to deliver. Annuities, and immediate fixed annuities, in particular, work by converting a lump sum of money into guaranteed monthly payments. But while the concept is simple, the payouts can vary, sometimes dramatically, based on factors like your age, gender, annuity type and how much you invest. So, if you're thinking about buying an annuity, understanding these payment differences is key to figuring out whether this retirement product is a good fit for your goals. How much can you expect an annuity to pay each month, though? Below, we break down exactly how much you can expect to receive each month from an annuity at various investment amounts and ages. Whether you're planning ahead or already near retirement, these figures can help you set expectations and make smarter choices with your money. Learn more about the annuity options available to you here. How much would an annuity pay me monthly? Annuity payouts depend on a few core factors: How much money you put in, how old you are when payments start and your life expectancy (which differs slightly between men and women). To illustrate, here's a breakdown of what you can expect for a single-life immediate fixed annuity in different purchase amounts (based on the age at the time of purchase): Annuity payments that start at age 60 Annuity payments that start at age 65 $50,000 annuity Male: $322/month Female: $309/month $100,000 annuity Male: $651/month Female: $627/month $200,000 annuity Male: $1,294/month Female: $1,240/month $250,000 annuity Male: $1,675/month Female: $1,550/month $300,000 annuity Male: $1,942/month Female: $1,861/month $400,000 annuity Male: $2,590/month Female: $2,482/month $500,000 annuity Male: $3,269/month Female: $3,151/month $750,000 annuity Male: $4,857/month Female: $4,655/month $1 million annuity Male: $6,477/month Female: $6,201/month Annuity payments that start at age 70 $25,000 annuity Male: $142.58/month Female: $125.26/month $50,000 annuity Male: $364/month Female: $344/month $100,000 annuity Male: $732/month Female: $697/month $200,000 annuity Male: $1,461/month Female: $1,381/month $250,000 annuity Male: $1,826/month Female: $1,726/month $300,000 annuity Male: $2,192/month Female: $2,072/month $400,000 annuity Male: $2,923/month Female: $2,763/month $500,000 annuity Male: $3,671/month Female: $3,498/month $750,000 annuity Male: $5,483/month Female: $5,183/month $1 million annuity Male: $7,312/month Female: $6,905/month Annuity payments that start at age 75 $25,000 annuity Male: $180.58/month Female: $157.58/month $50,000 annuity Male: $425/month Female: $395/month $100,000 annuity Male: $859/month Female: $800/month $200,000 annuity Male: $1,707/month Female: $1,586/month $250,000 annuity Male: $2,134/month Female: $2,006/month $300,000 annuity Male: $2,561/month Female: $2,379/month $400,000 annuity Male: $3,415/month Female: $3,173/month $500,000 annuity Male: $4,304/month Female: $4,014/month $750,000 annuity Male: $6,404/month Female: $5,952/month These estimates are based on a single-life immediate fixed annuity, which begins paying out right after purchase and continues for the rest of your life. Generally, the older you are when you buy the annuity, the larger your monthly payments will be, mainly because the insurer anticipates making payments for a shorter period. It's also worth noting that current interest rates can influence how much income you'll receive each month. And keep in mind that men usually receive higher monthly payouts than women because women tend to live longer. That longer life expectancy means the same annuity amount has to be spread out over more years for a woman, resulting in smaller monthly payments. And, other factors, like choosing a joint-life annuity, which provides income to your spouse after your death, or adding inflation protection, can also impact the monthly payout. Prepare for retirement by adding an annuity to your portfolio today. When is an annuity worth it? An annuity isn't right for everyone, but it can be a powerful tool under the right circumstances, especially for people who worry about outliving their savings. Here's when an annuity may be worth considering: You need guaranteed income. If Social Security and your 401(k) won't fully cover your retirement expenses, an annuity can help fill the gap with steady monthly income. If Social Security and your 401(k) won't fully cover your retirement expenses, an annuity can help fill the gap with steady monthly income. You want peace of mind. Annuities offer predictability. For those tired of watching their investments bounce up and down, knowing exactly how much money is coming in every month can provide peace of mind. Annuities offer predictability. For those tired of watching their investments bounce up and down, knowing exactly how much money is coming in every month can provide peace of mind. You're healthy and expect a long retirement. The longer you live, the more value you get from an annuity. Someone who buys one at 65 and lives into their 90s could easily come out ahead compared to someone who tries to manage a lump sum themselves. That said, annuities do come with trade-offs. Once you hand over your lump sum of money, you typically can't access it anymore. So, these retirement products are generally better suited for people who have other liquid assets or income sources to rely on in emergencies. You'll also want to shop around. Payouts can vary slightly between insurance providers, and not all annuities offer the same features. Some include inflation adjustments or death benefits, which can affect your monthly payment amount. The bottom line Annuities can offer peace of mind and guaranteed income, but only if the math makes sense for your retirement plan. As you can see from the figures above, monthly payments range from about $125 to over $6,400 depending on how much you invest and how old you are when you start receiving checks. If you're considering an annuity, start by asking yourself what kind of income you'll need in retirement and whether locking up a lump sum today will give you the financial security you're looking for later. With the right strategy, though, an annuity could become a valuable part of your retirement plan.

Why Lululemon Athletica Stock Crashed Today

Lululemon Athletica stock beat on earnings last night -- barely. Guidance is the bigger worry, with Lululemon forecasting much lower Q2 earnings than Wall Street expected. Trump's tariffs turmoil appears to be to blame. 10 stocks we like better than Lululemon Athletica Inc. › Lululemon Athletica (NASDAQ: LULU) stock got torn up on Friday, tumbling 20.2% through 11:55 a.m. ET despite beating earnings (barely) last night. Heading into the company's Q1 2025, analysts expected Lululemon to post $2.59 per share in profit on $2.37 billion in quarterly sales. Lululemon nailed the revenue target, and beat by the proverbial penny, with $2.60 per share earned. Sales grew 7% year over year, but same-store sales were up only 1%. Gross profit margins grew, but operating margins sank -- down 110 basis points to 18.5%. Still, on the bottom line, Lulu managed to grow its earnings by about 2%, to the aforementioned $2.60 per share. Earnings growth did lag sales growth significantly, however, because of the slimmer profit margin. Yet even so, CFO Meghan Frank emphasized the fact that sales did grow faster, and said she was "pleased with the start to our second quarter" as well. But should she be? Turning to guidance, Lululemon says Q2 sales will grow 7% or 8% to as high as perhaps $2.56 billion, with earnings between $2.85 per share and $2.90. Problem is, up on Wall Street, they wanted to hear Lulu promise $3.32 per share -- and that's clearly not going to happen. Worse, full-year guidance sees sales growth slowing to as little as 5% to 7% ($11.15 billion to $11.3 billion), and earnings are supposed to range from $14.58 to $14.78 per share. Analysts blame President Trump's tariffs policy for the weakening sales outlook. But whoever's to blame, the results aren't encouraging. Valued at about 18 times current-year forecast earnings, Lululemon stock costs too much for mid-single-digit growth. For the time being, I'm afraid it's probably a "sell."
