A new-look Odafe Oweh steals the spotlight at Ravens OTAs A bulked-up Odafe Oweh is one of the more talked about storylines of Ravens OTAs.
The last time we saw Odafe Oweh on the football field, he was closing the book on a phenomenal 2024 season. He had tallied 39 tackles, ten sacks, and a forced fumble for the Baltimore Ravens during the 17 games of an AFC North-winning campaign.
He was impressive during the Wild Card Round, notching two tackles, a sack, and three additional QB hits vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers on 26 snaps. Unfortunately, he didn't play as well one week later.
He notched one tackle on 21 snaps vs. the Buffalo Bills during the Divisional Round, but most of Baltimore's roster didn't play up to their standards on that evening. Last January's loss to the Bills was deflating, but it was clear Oweh had taken another step. Four months later, he's back and seemingly looking to prove a point.
A bulked-up Odafe Oweh has shown up to Ravens OTAs.
OTAs aren't mandatory, but many of Baltimore's stars were in attendance for the second day of work. It's great to see everyone, as this feels like a team that has already bought into the goals of the coming season.
Odafe Oweh was hard to miss. He has added some mass. He's gone from the 245-pound frame we saw last January to 265 pounds, but he still feels just as explosive.
"(It will help in stopping) the run, and then, obviously, the top of my rush, not being able to be pushed off the point, digging out the rip. And then obviously [with] power as well." Thank the official team site for the quote. Those were the words of a reinvigorated Oweh, who still hasn't forgotten to use last year's disappointing loss as fuel.
"I didn't have the outing I wanted, so I thought a lot of that had to do with my weight and being able to be stout in certain positions. So, as soon as the season was done, I went to Miami, started eating, lifting, and then gaining weight, basically."
Opposing offensive lines, beware. Oweh is on a mission, and he's bringing a ticked-off Ravens team with him.

Adam Sandler promises Derrick Henry movie role if he breaks 2,000 yards

Adam Sandler promises Derrick Henry movie role if he breaks 2,000 yards Show Caption Hide Caption Barry Sanders on the importance of running backs in today's NFL Hall of Fame running back Barry Sanders believes we are seeing a resurgence in the RB position in today's league. Sports Seriously Coming off of his most productive rushing season since 2020, Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry just got an extra incentive to be even better in 2025. Actor and comedian Adam Sandler promised Henry a movie role and a nice dinner together if the five-time Pro Bowler can rush for over 2,000 yards next season. Sandler sent the promise in the form of a video to the Dan Patrick Show one day after Henry told Patrick that the "Happy Gilmore" star was his favorite actor. "If you ever see [Sandler] again, tell him I'm a really big fan, and I'd really love to meet him one day," Henry told Patrick on Thursday. BALTIMORE RAVENS: Why Chuck Pagano came out of retirement to return to Baltimore Patrick responded with the terms of the bet right after – a 2,000-yard season for a movie role in one of Sandler's next projects – but it wasn't until Friday that the actor backed him up and confirmed the deal. "Two-thousand yards plus this year gets you not only in the movie, but we have a nice dinner together," Sandler said in the video. Henry messaged Patrick after seeing Sandler's video to express his gratitude: "That was really cool!" He also made sure to thank the actor for the additional push ahead of the season. Henry has rushed for 2,000 yards once before, in the aforementioned 2020 season with the Tennessee Titans that earned him an Offensive Player of the Year award. In 16 games that season, Henry tallied 2,027 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns on 378 carries, all of which led the league. His 5.4 average yards per carry ranked third of all running backs with at least 150 attempts. Last year, Henry's first with Baltimore, the nine-year NFL veteran put up 1,921 yards on 325 carries (5.9 yards per carry, which led all running backs) and a league-leading 16 rushing touchdowns. If Henry dominates opposing defenses again in 2025, those defenders can put the blame on Sandler for giving the running back just one more reason to excel.

John Harbaugh addresses Lamar Jackson's absence from Week 2 of Ravens OTAs

John Harbaugh addresses Lamar Jackson's absence from Week 2 of Ravens OTAs John Harbaugh said The measure for any player is how they play and that Lamar Jackson is his guy when asked about Ravens star missing OTAs After making two appearances last week, Baltimore MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson has missed the second week of OTAs, which were held on June 3, June 5, and June 6. The Ravens have three more sessions scheduled before the mandatory minicamp this month, and head coach John Harbaugh has no concerns about his star quarterback's absence. Following Friday's session, Harbaugh was asked about Jackson's absence and gave a strong response. If big game results are what Harbaugh is focused on, then the Ravens will be fine when Jackson returns for mini-camp and late July training camp. Last season, Jackson was a finalist for the Associated Press NFL MVP and Offensive Player of the Year awards. Leading Baltimore to its second straight AFC North title, Jackson was first-team All-Pro and set career highs for passing yards (4,172), touchdown passes (41), quarterback rating (119.6), and completions (316). Jackson led the NFL in rushing yards by a quarterback (915) and became the first player in league history with at least 4,000 passing yards and 800 rushing yards. He also became the league's all-time rushing leader at quarterback with 6,173 yards, surpassing the previous record held by Michael Vick (6,109).

Buccaneers Ex QB Tom Brady Offers Hilarious Take On Feared Tacklers

For over 20 years. Tom Brady performed better than any other quarterback in NFL history for both the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Along the way, the all-time leader in all passing categories played against some of the best defensive players in league history. From all-time great corners, to linebackers, and some of the best edge rushers in the modern game, Brady has seen it all. Advertisement And now he's telling his story about who he feared the most. Speaking with Logan Paul on the Impaulsive podcast this week, Brady shared who he feared the most as a tackler with many coming from one particular team. "Ray Lewis was at the top," Brady said. "Ndamukong Suh, I didn't like getting hit by him. J.J. [Watt] wasn't very fun to get hit by. Haloti Ngata, you remember him? He was about 340 pounds for the Ravens. He was massive." It should not be a surprise that the Baltimore Ravens were honored heavily here. Brady and the Patriots went into multiple battles with the Ravens being led by Lewis and Ed Reed. Advertisement Ngata was an underrated part of those Baltimore teams as well. While Brady did not win all of them, he did get a few victories over those Ravens. And he had some bumps and bruises along the way with that as well. Brady became the GOAT over time, and even helped the Buccaneers win their second Super Bowl title. But he isn't too shy to share to hilarious stories about who he feared the most in the league.
