KUALA LUMPUR: LFE Corporation Bhd has secured four contracts worth a total of RM70.84 million for construction and material supply works in Cyberjaya and Ara Damansara. In filings with Bursa Malaysia, the construction and engineering company said its wholly-owned subsidiaries, LFE Engineering Sdn Bhd and LFE Innovative Sdn Bhd, accepted letters of award from Puncak Concept Sdn Bhd and SD Ara Damansara Development Sdn Bhd today. "The contracts are expected to contribute positively to the group's earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2025 and up to the expiry of the contracts," LFE said. The awards are considered recurrent related party transactions (RRPT) as LFE's executive chairman and substantial shareholder, Chuah Chong Ewe, is also a director and shareholder of Puncak Concept and SD Ara Damansara Development. RRPT refer to business deals between a company and companies linked to its directors or major shareholders, as part of its normal operations.
