Several of the top contestants ended up releasing tracks that immediately became bestselling hits following the show's conclusion. Some years, only the winner manages to make any impact on the Billboard charts — and there have been times when even that doesn't happen. Season 23 was so chock-full of talent that even the singer who came in third place has managed to reach No. 1 on a chart in the United States. Breanna Nix finished in third this season, ending up behind runner-up John Foster and ultimate winner Jamal Roberts. While she didn't take the crown, Nix does reach a number of Billboard rankings with her solo single "Higher," which has become a strong seller and demonstrates that — even without a win — there may be a market for her voice following the conclusion of the show. "Higher" debuts at No. 1 on the Christian Digital Song Sales chart this week. It marks Nix's first leader on a Billboard tally. The tune replaces "Hard Fought Hallelujah" by Brandon Lake, which has turned out to be not just a winner on the Christian charts, but also a crossover success — one that has placed on Billboard's rock rankings and risen high on the Hot 100 as well. Nix's tune sold well enough to reach not just the Christian Digital Song Sales chart, but also the all-genre Digital Song Sales ranking. On that roster, it opens at No. 4, thanks to a little under 4,700 pure purchases (per Luminate). Sales powered "Higher" onto one of Billboard's consumption-based rankings as well. The tune lands at No. 40 on the Hot Christian Songs ranking, which lists the most popular tracks in that style by blending pure purchases, streaming activity, and radio airplay. Since she's a brand new artist with minimal promotional might, it seems that sales are largely to thank for "Higher" becoming a top 40 hit on the Christian-only tally.

‘The Legend Of Zelda' Movie May Land A Perfectly Cast Princess, Per Report

(Photo by Emma McIntyre/WireImage) It remains to be seen where Wes Ball's upcoming Legend of Zelda movie is a good idea at baseline, but now a casting search appears to be spooling up for its major roles, including the titular princess. A new report from inside DanielRPK reveals that a specific actress is being eyed for the role, one that social media fans were theory-casting even before this news broke. That would be Euphoria's Hunter Schafer. As soon as the movie was announced, side-by-side comparisons started emerging about how perfectly she would fit into the role. Now, the film may have taken that to heart and may be pursuing the star. Schafer first rose to prominence in Euphoria, the controversial HBO teen drama that is finally filming its third season after a lengthy break, Schafer included. Since then, she's appeared in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, Yorgos Lanthimos' Kinds of Kindness and the horror film Cuckoo. She's about to star in the upcoming Blade Runner 2099 series and has 5-6 other projects on the way. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess It is not yet clear which game story is being adapted for The Legend of Zelda movie, one that many were surprised was going to be live-action at all, given what Nintendo did with the massively profitable Super Mario Bros. movie. It feels like a big risk, but much of this will come down to casting. It's easy to see Schaefer as a good Zelda, but the key role will be Link, a character who barely, if ever, speaks in the games, and it's going to be very interesting to see how that aspect is handled. Here's what Zelda superfan and the film's director Wes Ball said about the project to Totalfilm back in March of 2024: "I have this awesome idea," Ball said. "I've been thinking about it for a long freakin' time, of how cool a Zelda movie would be... I want to fulfill people's greatest desires. I know it's important, this [Zelda] franchise, to people and I want it to be a serious movie. A real movie that can give people an escape." So, this seems to be pitched as high fantasy rather than the more cartoony versions of the game we've seen. And that makes a lot of sense for live-action. For many Disney adults, Disney World, specifically Magic Kingdom, is the epitome of a fairytale come to life. So it's no wonder that so many, including myself, dreamed about what it would be like to have the love of their life propose to them at their favorite place on earth. As someone who used to be a Photopass photographer at the Magic Kingdom and, more recently, as someone who got engaged in the Magic Kingdom, I have all sorts of tricks and tips I WISHED I could've bestowed on all the poor unfortunate souls who could've made their proposals even better. However, something about Orlando's heat and humidity is significantly worse than anywhere in South Florida. We ended up having to leave the park right after he proposed because I wasn't feeling well, and the heat was getting to me despite the copious amounts of water I was drinking. To avoid any of these issues, I would suggest doing the following: Propose first thing in the morning when you get to the park. Take a break at the hotel when temperatures are at their highest and propose when you come back refreshed and ready. Sunsets at the parks are always gorgeous and look great in photos. Bring a change of clothing if your partner is the kind of person who likes to stay at the park from open to close. Finally, don't forget to pack the following: Sunscreen Sun protection, like baseball caps Portable fans Cooling towels Water bottles Photo ops Photopass photographers are stationed all over the Walt Disney World Parks. Many are stationed in front of the castle, but you can find photographers in front of the Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Belle's castle. For $99, guests can also sign up for a private, 20-minute session called Capture Your Moment, where photopass photographers will follow you around the park and conduct your own personal photoshoot. So, instead, my darling fiancé proposed to me with a $20 ring featuring a heart-shaped moonstone in the center, which he purchased on Amazon. It was the only ring I wore throughout the engagement, and I was so proud to show it off whenever I told a cast member we were engaged. Additionally, I was able to wander throughout the park and ride the attractions without worrying that I might lose my very expensive engagement ring. Don't just propose in front of the castle Personalize your engagement! A castle proposal isn't the end-all be-all of Disney proposals. Tailor your engagement to what your fiancée likes about Disney. You can propose just about anywhere! You can even propose during a hot air balloon ride at Disney Springs, but make sure to have a backup plan in case it's shut down. And they lived happily ever after... Be sure that this is the kind of proposal your partner wants! There are always people around the parks, and proposals, especially the ones that take place on Main Street U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom, which is the street that leads to the famous castle, tend to draw an audience. But, as long as you've done your homework and made sure this is what your partner wants, your Beloved is sure to adore the proposal no matter what.
