Would you watch your shows on a TinyTV?
See all Stories Posted Jun 26, 2025 at 5:55 PM UTC Would you watch your shows on a TinyTV?
I backed the TinyTV 2 on Kickstarter back in 2022, and it's a delight! When you change the 'channel' with its tiny remote or working dials, it'll realistically flick to the middle of your next video just as if you were watching it live. (It syncs timestamps!) Yeah, it's $60... but a gift or treat, perhaps? They also sell the transparent one.

Micron Unleashes Gen 5 and Gen 6 SSDs in Bid to Dominate AI Data Center Storage
Micron Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:MU) is one of the best cheap growth stocks to buy according to analysts. In August 2025, Micron made two aggressive moves in the data center storage arms race. On August 5, the company unveiled the 6600 ION SSD, a PCIe Gen 5 drive offering an eye-watering 122 terabytes of capacity in a single U.2 form factor. Micron stated that this drive is designed for hyperscale and enterprise data centers, with efficiency metrics like 1 watt per 4.9TB and up to 88 petabytes per rack. A 245TB version is already slated for 2026, reinforcing Micron's push to replace mechanical hard drives entirely in this segment. Just days before that, Micron introduced the 9650 SSD, which it billed as the world's first PCIe Gen 6 drive. Targeted at AI-heavy data center workloads, the 9650 boasts sequential read speeds of 28GB/s, writes at 14GB/s, and up to 5.5 million IOPS, the kind of performance figures that dwarf anything currently on the market. It's not meant for consumer use and won't fit in typical PCs, but its presence sets a new ceiling for enterprise-grade storage performance. Copyright: believeinme33 / 123RF Stock Photo Both product launches were clearly aimed at strengthening Micron's position in the AI infrastructure supply chain, though the company hasn't made explicit comments tying the products to specific customers or demand signals. The announcements came at a time when hyperscalers are rapidly upgrading backend architecture to keep pace with training and inference loads driven by large language models and other compute-heavy AI use cases. Micron Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:MU) is based in Boise, Idaho. It's is a global leader in innovative memory and storage solutions. The company manufactures DRAM, NAND, and NOR flash memory products used across a wide range of industries, including data centers, mobile devices, automotive systems, and industrial applications. While we acknowledge the potential of MU as an investment, we believe certain AI stocks offer greater upside potential and carry less downside risk. LG 32″ Smart TV Deal Feels Like Black Friday in August, You Could Grab a Few for the Cost of One
No college dorm room is complete without a TV, of course. The trick is finding that Goldilocks zone before you make your purchase — the really big-screen sets won't fit into a dorm room setup, and a screen that's too small is going to end up holding dirty laundry, unused and unloved. The LG 32″ Class HD LR60 Smart TV is in that 'just right' size category, and the price is definitely right at Walmart right now at just $124. It's kind of amazing how far $124 goes now when it comes to scoring a TV. LG's HDR10 Pro technology takes the already excellent HDR10 processing standard and optimizes it to create a more vibrant image with improved color and brightness. The LR60 Smart TV's processor is powered by AI, so while it delivers a sharp picture that refreshes rapidly for watching or gaming, it also intelligently adjusts the picture in real time based on the lighting of the room. See at Walmart You might not expect a pile of perks coming from a $124 TV, but the LG 32″ Class HD LR60 Smart TV has a few very cool tricks up its sleeve. The LG Channels app gives you access to over 300 free channels of content, so you could tack money saved from streaming subscriptions onto the savings you get from this Walmart deal. And if you do opt to sign up for streaming services, the webOS at the heart of the LR60 is amazingly intuitive and easy to use so you do less searching and more streaming. The LR60 Smart TV is a great addition to any home or room with other smart devices, with built-in support for ThinQ, Google Assistant, Alexa, Matter, and Apple HomeKit, and it's Bluetooth enabled for connectivity with compatible smartphones, tablets, laptops, and more. The LG 32″ Class HD LR60 Smart TV can be used with or without the included stand. It's a hair over 10 pounds, so it's easily wall-mounted to save more space, but even with the stand it has a small footprint, since it's only 7 inches deep and 29 inches wide. The front of the TV is all screen with only a very slim border, with 720p resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. This Walmart deal on the LG 32″ Class HD LR60 Smart TV makes it an obvious dorm room purchase just in time for fall semester, but it's also an ideal TV for a spare bedroom, gaming room, or anywhere you want to add another entertainment source without denting your budget. It's just $124 right now at Walmart. See at Walmart

Trump Says He'll Host Kennedy Center Honors for Stallone, Kiss
President Donald Trump announced he would host the Kennedy Center Honors, which will go to actor Sylvester Stallone, rock band Kiss and singer Gloria Gaynor among others during the first year of his chairmanship of Washington, DC's main performing arts center. The president also vowed to 'fully renovate' the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, including replacing seats and fixing infrastructure, using $257 million from his signature tax and spending bill to make it 'a crown jewel of American arts and culture.'
