Brother of Pat Tillman arrested after fiery crash into San Jose post office, USPS says
The fire happened just before 3 a.m. on the 6500 block of Crown Boulevard. According to the San Jose Fire Department, a vehicle crashed into the post office and caught fire.
The suspect arrested was identified as 44-year-old Richard Tillman, Pat's brother, according to U.S. Postal Inspector Matthew Norfleet.
About 50 firefighters were sent to the scene after a second alarm was called, and the fire was knocked down around 4:30 a.m., the fire department said.
Investigators said the post office appears to be a total loss.
"It certainly seems like a possibility that this fire was intentionally set," Norfleet said. "Why anybody would do that, like I said, is beyond explanation."
The USPS said PO box customers and notice-left mail who use the Almaden station will have to go to the Willow Glen Post Office at 1750 Meridian Avenue, which will be open Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Customers will need a photo ID for all mail pick-up.

Hiker survives after being mauled by brown bear in Alaska
A hiker was rescued after reportedly getting attacked by a brown bear along a trail in Alaska, according to the Anchorage Fire Department. On Tuesday at approximately 3 p.m., officials responded to 911 calls from a hiker "reporting they were mauled by a bear and needed help as soon as possible," the fire department said in a statement. The attack occurred about two miles up the Dome Trail in Anchorage, the local police department confirmed to ABC News. The female hiker -- who has not been identified by officials -- reported that she "could not get out" on her own "due to injuries sustained in the mauling," the fire department said. The woman provided directions to her location on the trail and remained on the phone with officials while they scanned the area to locate her, according to police. Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene, with drones deployed to help find the hiker, according to officials. Once she was located, she was rescued with a helicopter and transported to a local hospital with "what we believe to be non-life-threatening injuries," police said. MORE: 89-year-old man and dog killed in bear attacks in Florida: Officials Police told ABC News the hiker is in stable condition as of Wednesday and that, at this time, they "will not be sharing her name with the public." The brown bear ran off after the incident, the fire department noted in its statement. As of Tuesday night, Alaska Fish & Game was still trying to locate the bear. Officials said hikers in Anchorage are "encouraged to file trip plans with friends or family prior to trekking off into the great outdoors" and recommend people leave a copy of their trip plans underneath their vehicle's windshield. "Information regarding your planned route can be invaluable as we try to locate you in case of an emergency," the fire department said. With both black and brown bears living within the municipality of Anchorage, the local parks and recreation department provides tips to keep in mind while recreating in any park or trail in the area, including to remain in groups, make noise, carry bear spray, leash all dogs and to never run from a bear. "Stop, group up, talk to the bear and let it know you are human," Anchorage Parks and Recreation said on its website. According to the National Park Service, the majority of bear attacks occur not because the animal is hunting a human, but when it feels threatened or is protecting its young. The only exception is if the bear is "suffering from very severe starvation," the NPS said on its website.

Trump Abruptly Ends CNN Interview After Being Questioned About New Epstein Photos
President Donald Trump hung up on a CNN reporter during a phone call Tuesday that lasted a mere 30 seconds after the journalist questioned him about resurfaced images showing Jeffrey Epstein at Trump's 1993 wedding to his second wife, Marla Maples. While appearing Tuesday on 'Erin Burnett OutFront,' reporter Andrew Kaczynski shared details about the abrupt phone call with Trump that ended in name-calling. The call took place after CNN's 'KFile' found photos of Epstein and Trump that had not been widely reported on before. One photo showed the disgraced financier and sex offender attending Trump's Plaza Hotel wedding to Maples. In a separate image, Epstein was seen with Trump and his children at a Harley-Davidson Cafe that same year. CNN also released a video of Trump and Epstein chatting with each other at a Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York in February 1999. Kaczynski told host Burnett that the call, in which he asked Trump about the images, ended with the president slamming CNN as 'fake news' and hanging up after he refused to answer questions about his past connection to Epstein. 'We were not on the phone very long. I think our call was about 30 seconds or so,' Kaczynski told Burnett. 'But when I asked him about the wedding photo, he said, he sort of paused for a second and then said, 'You've got to be kidding me,' before calling CNN 'fake news' and then hanging up on me.' In a statement to CNN, Kaczynski said, White House communications director Steven Cheung said, 'These are nothing more than out-of-context frame grabs of innocuous videos and pictures of widely attended events to disgustingly infer something nefarious.' Cheung added: 'The fact is that the president kicked [Epstein] out of his club for being a 'creep.'' Kaczynski's heated yet ultra-brief conversation with Trump comes after the Department of Justice and FBI released a two-page memo earlier this month, claiming their Epstein investigation determined that there was no evidence Epstein was murdered or had a 'client list' of powerful figures he could potentially blackmail. Following the memo release, Trump faced scrutiny over his administration's handling of the Epstein files. Trump supporters and right-wing figures called on the president and his administration to release more information.
