Wael Kfoury, Shana Abboud welcome their first baby girl, here's her name
According to ONE TV, the star Wael Kfoury and Shana Abboud welcomed their first child together on Aug. 16.
Some media reports allegedly said that the baby girl was called "Clovy," a name which means the pretty one.
A video circulated on social media a few months ago, showing Wael with his wife, Shana, as she placed her hand on her swollen belly at a social event, in what appeared to be an indirect announcement of their pregnancy and marriage after long-running rumors about their relationship.

Unconfirmed reports emerged on social media earlier claiming that Wael Kfoury secretly got married to Shana Aboud a year ago and that she was pregnant with their first child. However, un til their first public appearance, no one was able to confirm the news.
Reports indicate that the romantic relationship between Shana and Wael began after his separation from his ex-wife, Angela Bechara, specifically during the quarantine period in 2020, with whom he had two daughters.

Why are people boycotting popular Arab TikTok influencers?
Published August 21st, 2025 - 05:56 GMT ALBAWABA - A new, controversial campaign has recently flooded the Arab side of social media, with users calling for the boycott of "useless" influencers in Dubai who have gained millions of followers and views over the years. The targeted campaigns titled "Boycott the influencers" and "Unfollow Dubai Squad" urged Arab social media users to unfollow some content creators with claims that they are misleading the public with their luxurious lifestyles, stemming issues like unrealistic expectations. Some stated that many Arab influencers are making netizens "dumber" due to the nature of their content, describing it as non-educational and lacking in substance. — سلفستر|ثريد (@Fabizothehdon) August 20, 2025 On the contrary, several others touched on different topics, including allegations of exploiting followers to gain fame and profit, promoting boycotted products that support the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza, and staying silent about the war. The famous Arab influencers being targeted in the campaign include Asala Maleh, Narin's Beauty, Sherin Amara, Osama Marwah, Sara Al-Wara, Ghaith Marwan, Noor Stars, Shahad, and many more. While the impact of the campaign cannot be measured at the time of reporting, smaller content creators have complained about being affected by the boycott. They have taken to their official social media accounts to showcase the decline in followers, adding that they have nothing to do with the targeted influencers. © 2000 - 2025 Al Bawaba (
