Despite Hakan Calhanoglu's failed transfer to Fenerbahce or Galatasaray, the Nerazzurri could sign another midfielder. Indeed, they've already acquired the services of Petar Sucic. However, Cristian Chivu wants to add more depth to his squad, with Inter set to compete for trophies on multiple fronts. Although Rabiot would offer experience and quality, the Serie A giants prefer someone more versatile.

Right Back moves from Serie A to Wolves in €12m transfer

Wolves Secure Jackson Tchatchoua Signing Jackson Tchatchoua has spoken of his ambition to 'conquer this dream' after completing his move to Wolves from Hellas Verona, marking a significant step in his rapidly rising career. Ambition Meets Opportunity The 23-year-old defender joins Wolves on a five-year contract, with the option of a further year, in a deal worth €12m (£10.4m). For a player who carved his reputation in Serie A, this transfer feels like both a natural progression and a bold leap into one of football's most demanding environments. Having featured 43 times last season for club and country, Tchatchoua was central to Verona's fight for survival in Italy's top flight, while also helping Cameroon secure qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations. His move to the Premier League arrives at a time when Wolves are seeking energy and versatility in wide areas — qualities he appears to embody. Pace and Versatility Tchatchoua has already made a name for himself as one of Serie A's quickest players, clocking a top speed of 36.3km/h. Add in two goals and three assists, and his attacking contribution matches his defensive discipline. Capable of operating both as a right wing-back and a full-back, he offers the kind of adaptability that modern football increasingly demands. 'I can play wing-back, I can play full-back. When the space is free, I really like it, and I can play both [positions]. I will play the position the coach puts me on the pitch – for the team and for the coach,' he said. First Impressions of Wolves Tchatchoua's early reflections on Molineux suggest he has already found a sense of belonging. 'My first impressions [of the club] are that we have everything here. It's not too big, it's not too small. It's very good. I spoke with some people from the club and everyone enjoys it. I feel a good atmosphere in this club. I'm very excited to play. It's one of my dreams, and I want to conquer this dream.' For Wolves, his arrival represents more than just an investment in potential; it is a statement of intent. The Premier League is an unforgiving stage, but with his pace, hunger and tactical awareness, Jackson Tchatchoua has the attributes to thrive.

Report – Inter Milan ‘Will 100% Sign A Defender & Midfielder' After Exiting Ademola Lookman Talks

Inter Milan have made a significant U-turn in their transfer policy after withdrawing from talks to sign Ademola Lookman. According to FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri are now prioritizing the signing of a new defender and midfielder. However, discussions with Atalanta have been at a standstill for almost a month now. Therefore, the San Siro giants have decided to walk away from the negotiating table and focus on other targets. (Photo by) One of Inter's main objectives is to strengthen Cristian Chivu's defensive options. Indeed, they've set their sights on Bayern Munich outcast Kim Min-jae. However, much depends on the future of Benjamin Pavard, who could soon pack his bags. In addition to the South Korean center-back, Inter could sign another midfielder. Despite capturing the services of Petar Sucic, the Serie A runners-up remain on the market for another midfield reinforcement. Atalanta's Ederson and Borussia Dortmund's Felix Nmecha have emerged as Inter's potential targets.
