Alleged 'Scream' Gangbang Teacher Faces Stiff Sentence If Convicted on Charges
The Indiana former teacher who allegedly participated in a gangbang with several underage kids wearing "Scream" masks is facing a smorgasbord of new charges that could land her in prison for many decades if she's convicted.
In court documents, Morgan County prosecutors say they've added charges related to five more alleged victims ... bringing the total number to six who have accused Brittany Fortinberry of a slew of sex crimes.
Prosecutors tell us they're planning to hit Fortinberry with 24 additional felonies, putting the grand total at 29, including five Level 1 child molestation counts. On Thursday, the county prosecutor, Steven P. Sonnega, told TMZ ... Fortinberry will be advised of the new charges and potential penalties at a court hearing on April 3.
In addition to child molestation, Fortinberry is facing charges of sexual misconduct with a minor, dissemination of matter harmful to minors, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Sonnega says just on the Level 1 child molestation charges alone ... if convicted, Fortinberry could face 20 to 40 years in prison on each count ... and if the judge orders the sentences served consecutively, those five counts could easily keep her behind bars for the rest of her life!
Then there are 24 other counts with Level 4, 5 and 6 offenses. Potential sentences for Level 4, 5 and 6 crimes are two-to-12 years, one-to-six years, and up to two and a half years, respectively.
Sonnega says there are many legal factors that come into play while considering Fortinberry's sentence if she is ultimately convicted, but it's certainly possible a conviction could keep her in prison for the rest of her days.
As we reported, Fortinberry allegedly sexually abused multiple children by asking them to gangbang her while wearing masks from the "Scream" movies.
The judge in the case has ordered her to stay away from the alleged victims -- which shouldn't be too much trouble since she's currently locked up in jail.
We reached out to Fortinberry's attorney ... he declined to comment.

Actor Scott Wolf's wife seemingly detained by cops live on Instagram amid split
The estranged wife of actor Scott Wolf was seemingly detained by law enforcement during an Instagram livestream, during which she can be heard scolding officers and alleging she was abused. The clip, which appeared on Kelley Wolf's social media profile early Friday, starts out with a black screen with only audio, and it remains that way until nearly the end, when she can be standing alongside a pair of police officers. It comes just three days after she revealed that she and her 'Party of Five' star husband were headed for divorce after 21 years. 'Oh my God. Don't,' a voice, seemingly Kelley's, can be heard saying in the clip. 'Oh my God, this is not happening.' The mother of the three goes on tell responding officers she'd leave with them on her own, but her offer is still followed by what sounds like handcuffs clicking closed. 'This is shameful, gentlemen,' she tells them. 'Look at this, look at this woman, this is shameful. Be ashamed, be ashamed of yourselves, gentlemen.' One of the officers then informs Kelley that she's 'not going to jail,' but rather to get 'some help.' He notes that she had 'made some comments to your dad and comments to people that are concerning,' and that they 'want to make sure you're okay.' 'I didn't mean to,' Kelley said, asking the police if she should turn off her camera. 'I think Scott Wolf is abusing me, and now you are abusing me more.' Shortly after posting the video, Kelley shared an image to her Instagram feed covered in chunks of text, including one that reads: 'This is horrible. I have been taken against my will. Please check on my kids.' Another said: 'Also… I am happy!! Happier than I have ever been.' The trial of Sean "Diddy" Combs has contained a number of mentions of top celebrities, but now one celebrity has crashed the trial itself. And he wore an all-white outfit when he did it. The celebrity is Kanye West, who surprised onlookers when he showed up at the music mogul's human trafficking trial in New York on June 13. However, West only stayed at the trial for a short time, TMZ reported. Page Six reported that he left 50 minutes after he arrived. He made quite an entrance, the site reported, shaking hands out front, and then interacting with Combs' son Christian Combs. A TikTok video captured West's arrival at the courthouse. A member of Combs' legal team also greeted West, TMZ reported. Even before his appearance, there was rumbling that West might show up. CNN reported on June 12 that West was thinking of making an appearance to show support for the embattled rapper. West currently goes by the name Ye. According to CNN, West is close to the rapper's son and they've been making music together. Diddy is on trial for very serious offenses, although his defense team denies them. The federal indictment accuses Combs of having engaged in or attempting to engage in sex trafficking, obstructing justice, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, and bribery, the indictment says. The trial has featured emotional testimony from his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura, among others. The rapper's legal team has argued in court that he engaged in some bad behavior but that it doesn't meet the legal test for human trafficking charges.
