Vicki takes action to keep EastEnders abuser Joel out of jail after assault
Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) makes it her mission to protect Joel Marshall (Max Murray) after his commits another sex offence in EastEnders next week.
As viewers of the BBC One soap have seen, Joel is deeply troubled, and is the reason his family were forced to flee from Australia.
After upskirting a school mate, his dad Ross (Alex Walkinshaw) coughed up a whopping $50,000 to keep the girl's silence, but her family also demanded that they leave the country.
Since settling in Walford, it seems that his behaviour hasn't changed. Not only has he introduced naïve Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) to pornography, but he also decided to record sexual content of his own.
Growing closer to Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James), he secretly filmed them having sex – a video which a horrified Ross later discovered on his son's phone.
In upcoming scenes, his behaviour worsens, despite demands from both Ross and Vicki for him to change his ways.
Having spent the day with Tommy, the lads board an underground train and Joel decides to entwine him further into a web of misbehaviour. He pulls out his phone, and instructs Tommy to start recording.
Stumbling through the carriage, he pretends to fall on a fellow passenger named Isla, who he goes onto touch inappropriately.
Tommy is stunned by what he sees, as a terrified Isla rushes to report him to the police that are present in the tube station. Joel is apprehended and hauled in for questioning – just as Ross and Vicki witness what is happening.
Down at the cop shop, Ross demands answers from the teen, as Vicki corners Isla and tries to comfort her.
Vicki is supportive of the girl's decision to report Joel, and hopes that it will be the kick he needs to stop his alarming behaviour patterns. She then passes on her number in case she needs anything further from the family.
Later that night, she comes up with a cunning plan, inspired by Ross' actions Down Under.

She offers Isla a sum of cash in exchange for her silence and withdrawal of the complaint, promising to make sure that Joel doesn't land himself in anymore hot water. More Trending
Tommy's mum Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) has her own concerns about Joel's influence over her son, but it soon becomes clear that Vicki is the one who she should be worried about.
When Joel makes attempts at reconciling with his mate, Tommy is left shaken by an ultimatum from Vicki.
She warns that unless he keeps his mouth shut, she will implicate him in the crime.

New struggle for Vanessa in Emmerdale as Tracy shuts her down
There's absolute turmoil for the sisters in Emmerdale with one being accused of murder and the other one dropping her in it. Tracy Shankley (Amy Walsh) was dealt the hugely devastating blow of learning that the body pulled from the lake was her ex Nate Robinson's (Jurell Carter). An even more distressing twist for her was to learn that he'd been dead the whole time she thought he'd gone AWOL and instead of reporting him missing, she'd bad mouthed him and maxed out his credit card. She and Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) then pointed the finger of suspicion at Cain (Jeff Hordley) when they revealed to the police that he'd beaten up Nate the day he died, but quick to deflect from his new uncle-in-law, John (Oliver Farnworth) dumped Nate's phone in Tracy's house and allowed the detectives to find it. A panicked Tracy gave the police an alibi, which was a complete lie and implicated Vanessa by saying she'd been with her the whole day of Nate's disappearance. But it unravelled quickly when Vanessa confessed the truth to protect her own skin – that they were nowhere near each other that day. EastEnders' Elaine makes a reckless move that will cost her and Linda dearly
Elaine Peacock's (Harriet Thorpe) world is in turmoil in EastEnders next week, which results in her making a reckless move that could cost her and daughter Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) dearly. Queen Vic co-owner Elaine left fans of the BBC soap stunned when she cheated on her husband George Knight (Colin Salmon) in shock scenes earlier this week. Elaine fell into the arms of a man named Stephen as her jealousy of George's connection to his ex-wife Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) reached boiling point after he helped her out with The Albert relaunch. On Thursday, George was reeling after finding out about Elaine's betrayal, and with the future of their marriage up in the air, Elaine starts behaving erratically next week. Things start to get messy as she enjoys some drinks with Kim Fox (Tameka Empson), Mo Harris (Laila Morse), Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan-Levy), Denise Fox (Diane Parish), Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) and Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter), and Elaine shocks Linda by declaring the prosecco is on the house all night. When Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) pops in for a drink, he notices how much Linda is struggling having to do the lion's share of the work at the Vic amid her mum's turmoil and steps in to help behind the bar. Later, a tipsy Elaine offers to book Priya a singles cruise, telling her that she can pay her back later. Linda is then horrified when she sees how her mum has taken £5k out of the business account to pay for it – but when she confronts Elaine, she shuts her down. The following morning, Elaine is viciously hungover and refuses to engage with Linda, who is still reeling at her decision to book Priya on the cruise. Emmerdale killer John breathes a sigh of relief - but a twist follows
Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) caught John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) out in tonight's episode of Emmerdale. The couple recently returned from their honeymoon following a chaotic wedding ceremony. From Aaron's perspective, it was dramatic because his ex Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) returned. For John, he was on edge due to multiple opportunities arising that threatened to expose his murderous secrets. Aaron and John managed to tie the knot though but when they got back from their relaxing time away, they learnt of some worrying news. John had to put on his poker face again when he got told that Nate Robinson's (Jurell Carter) body had been found in the lake. Due to Nate being Aaron's family, John has opted for the approach of trying to support the Dingle clan as they grieve. In tonight's episode, John's focus shifted to something completely unrelated to Nate. As he looked through the post, he spotted a letter addressed to Aaron, from the prison. John immediately knew that it was from Robert and hid it in his pocket. Later, he went to open the envelope, but got caught by Aaron. Aaron read through the letter but put it in the bin shortly after. We know that his relationship with John means a great deal to him, as it helped him realise he can love someone else other than Robert. As Aaron reassured John, there was relief. Whenever we see John's insecurities highlighted, he usually does something to ensure he no longer feels that way. The difference here was that John wasn't able to do anything due to being spotted by Aaron, so he was simply a man fearing his partner would be tempted by their ex.
