Rutherglen full-time dad hits £122 jackpot at Glasgow casino
James Taylor Gray turned a £1 bonus chip into a life-changing sum while playing blackjack at Grosvenor Casino Glasgow Riverboat.
He landed the jackpot after both he and the dealer revealed an ace and a king of hearts—a rare combination that triggered the top prize.

Initially, James believed he had won just £500, the standard payout awarded to other players at the table.
He said: 'At first, I thought I'd won £500, which was what everyone else got because I hit the jackpot.
'Everyone was cheering, and I couldn't understand why.
"The person next to me told me I'd actually won the jackpot, and the rest is a blur.
"I was in complete shock. I can't really remember what I said apart from, 'You're kidding?''
The full-time dad plans to use the windfall to support his growing family, with his wife expecting their second child in July. He also hopes to book a family holiday and invest a large portion of the winnings for the future.

Mark McCluskey, general manager at Grosvenor Casino Glasgow Riverboat, said: 'What a win! The atmosphere was electric, with the entire casino cheering and celebrating.
"We are absolutely thrilled for James and congratulate him on both his winnings and the upcoming addition to his family.'
Blackjack, the game in which James won big, is a casino favourite that blends strategy and chance.
