EastEnders star blasts fan who claims he 'cheated' on his wife as he shares sun-soaked holiday snaps with new girlfriend

An EastEnders star has hit back at a troll who publicly accused him of cheating on his wife as he shared loved-up pictures with his new girlfriend. Earlier this year it was revealed how Davood Ghadami, who played Kush Kazemi in Albert Square, was dating Melanie Barker, 32. Both stars had met each other while working on the pantomime production of Aladdin in 2022/23. The pair were both married at the time, but were reported to have left their respective spouses for each other, after sharing 'sizzling on-stage chemistry'. Davood was forced to hit back at the claims, telling fans he had separated from his wife before his relationship with Melanie started. However, the actor has now blasted a troll after they accused him of being unfaithful to his ex-wife as he posted pictures from a recent sun-soaked holiday with Melanie. Davood captioned his Instagram post: 'Greece in June looks like this...' In the midst of positive replies, one follower commented: 'Unfollowed. Don't like people who cheat on their spouses and break up families.' Hitting back, Davood said: 'Bye then! I don't want people following me who know nothing.' In February, The Sun alleged that Davood and Melanie had fallen for each other during the Aladdin production, in which the soap star played Abananzar and the mother-of-three starred as Princess Jasmine. The publication reported the pair were frequently 'flirting backstage' and were thought to have stayed in touch after the production, held at the Waterside Theatre in Aylesbury, had ended in early 2023. While a source claimed that as their romance blossomed, both stars decided to leave their partners to move in together. Following the claims, Davood released a statement, telling fans: 'A newspaper chose to run a front page story about me yesterday. A surprise choice considering everything happening in our world. In February, The Sun alleged that Davood and Melanie had fallen for each other during the Aladdin production, in which the soap star played Abananzar and the mother-of-three starred as Princess Jasmine 'It's always been important for me to keep a degree of privacy regarding my personal life, but I feel I need to clarify a few things. 'My wife and I separated in 2023. In 2024, my relationship with Mel began and we remain together and happy. There is life after separation and divorce.' The soap star met his ex-wife Isobel at university more than 20 years ago, before they tied the knot in 2010. The couple went on to welcome two daughters together - Eve, 12, and nine-year-old Grace. Davood had previously gushed about his long-term love and her enduring support while he was competing in the 2017 series of Strictly Come Dancing with professional dancer Nadiya Bychkova. He told Woman magazine in 2018: 'My wife and I know each other inside out and have a genuine understanding about how the other ticks. 'We met 17 years ago at university so we've got a lot of shared history. I'm an incredibly lucky man. 'My life couldn't be the way it is without her support. She was amazing when I was in Strictly and kept everything going.'

EastEnders star slams fans who say he's cheating on his wife

Davood, 43, who played Kush Kazemi in the BBC soap, has shared a slew of loved-up snaps on social media with his girlfriend, Melanie Barker, 32, who he reportedly met while performing in panto three years ago. Many of the actor's fans adored the happy snaps in which the couple pose up a storm in Greece. However one of Davood's followers had seen quite enough after accusing the actor of infidelity. They responded: "Unfollowed. Don't like people who cheat on their spouses and break up families." Hitting back, Davood retorted: "Bye then! I don't want people following me who know nothing." ‌ ‌ The actor married his long-term girlfriend Isobel in 2010 and they have two daughters together. Back in 2018, Davood told Woman magazine: "My wife and I know each other inside out and have a genuine understanding about how the other ticks. We met 17 years ago at university so we've got a lot of shared history. "I'm an incredibly lucky man. My life couldn't be the way it is without her support. She was amazing when I was in Strictly and kept everything going." However, in 2022, the Strictly Come Dancing star met Melanie when they were both performing in Aladdin. A source told The Sun at the time: 'They are two very attractive people and it was clear they had sizzling onstage chemistry together. 'There was a lot of flirting backstage and I'm sure Aladdin wouldn't have been happy that Princess Jasmine was giggling with Abanazar behind his back. ‌ 'But the genie is now well and truly out of the bottle and they are a proper couple — living together, training together and posting photos on Instagram together. 'It's almost like a perfect fairytale ending — but for the previous partners they have left in their wake.' Davood and Melanie, who was married to Daniel Haslam, reportedly stayed in touch when the pantomime ended. At some point, love grew between them and they moved in together. ‌ They went Instagram official with their relationship earlier this year and have now shared their romantic sun-soaked holiday. However, Davood was also hit with cheating rumours when he appeared on Strictly. When he took part in the BBC show in 2017, he was partnered up with professional dancer, Nadiya Bychkova. The duo was plagued by rumours of the infamous Strictly 'curse' - with judge Bruno Tonioli even claiming their samba looked like a "race to the bedroom". However, Davood hit back at any suggestions of infidelity, saying that he and then wife, Isobel, knew the truth behind the dances on screen. "People will say things," he insisted, adding: "As long as you know the truth and the people you love know the truth - it shouldn't matter."
