Australian man shot and killed at a villa on the tourist island of Bali
Authorities were searching Saturday for two Australian gunmen suspected of fatally shooting an Australian tourist and injuring another at a villa on the Indonesian resort island of Bali.
The shooting just after midnight on Friday at Villa Casa Santisya near Munggu Beach in the district of Badung killed Zivan Radmanovic, 32, from Melbourne. The second victim, who is 34 and also from Melbourne was beaten, said Badung Police chief Arif Batubara.
'We cannot yet determine the motive,' Batubara said, adding that an investigation is underway. The two Australians were rushed to hospitals in Denpasar, the provincial capital.
According to police, the villa had only three rooms occupied with a total of five guests when the shooting happened. The two victims' wives were also there and another foreign tourist, Batubara said.
Radmanovic was shot in a bathroom, where police found 17 bullet casings and two intact bullets.
At least three witnesses at the villa told investigators that two gunmen, one wearing orange jacket with a dark helmet and another wearing a dark green jacket, a black mask and a dark helmet, arrived on a scooter at the villa around midnight.
Radmanovic's wife, Gourdeas Jazmyn, 30, told police that she suddenly woke up when she heard her husband screaming. She cowered under a blanket when she heard multiple gunshots.
She later found her husband's body and the injured Australian, whose wife has also testified to seeing the attackers.
The Australian Consulate in Bali has been contacted by authorities and an autopsy for further investigation is still waiting permission from the family of the victim, Batubara said.

Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., told NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday that while authorities believe the suspect, 57-year-old Vance Luther Boelter, could still be in Minnesota, they're asking residents in South Dakota to be on the lookout. "They've also put an alert out in South Dakota," Klobuchar said, adding that the suspect is still believed to be in the Midwest. Boelter is accused of shooting and killing former Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, in their Brooklyn Park home early Saturday. State Sen. John Hoffman, also a Democrat, and his wife, Yvette, were shot and wounded in their Champlin home about nine miles away. Klobuchar also gave an update on Hoffman and his wife, saying that they are "hanging in there" after each suffering "multiple, multiple gun wounds." "His wife was out of surgery first, and she's actually texted some of our mutual friends, and he may face some additional surgeries," the senator said of the Hoffmans. "He is also in stable condition right now, from what I know." Klobuchar warned citizens not to approach Boelter as he should be considered dangerous. "But right now everyone is on edge here because we know that this man will kill at a second," she said. "We also know that he is clearly off balance, that from the manifesto on some of his writings, some of the things that he has said recently, that he's someone that no one should mess with except for law enforcement." A 57-year-old man who has been named as a suspect in the shooting of two Minnesota lawmakers worked at a private-security company that says he has been involved in 'security situations' around the world, including in the Middle East, Europe and Africa. The suspect remains at large, and a manhunt is underway across the Minneapolis area. John Hoffman, 60, and his wife were also shot at home and are recovering after undergoing surgery. Gov. Tim Walz described the shooting as 'an act of targeted political violence.' State authorities said they are looking for 57-year-old Vance Boelter, who remains at large with a manhunt underway across the Minneapolis area. According to the website for his company Praetorian Guard Security Services, Boelter is listed as director of security patrols, while his wife is listed as president and CEO. 'Dr. Vance Boelter has been involved with security situations in Eastern Europe, Africa, North America and the Middle East, including the West Bank, Southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip,' the site says. 'He brings a great security aspect forged by both many on the ground experiences combined with training by both private security firms and by people in the U.S. Military.' Another member of Praetorian's leadership team includes a security training manager who is described as a retired undercover officer. The company didn't immediately respond to a request for comment. Law enforcement officials said a dark SUV with police lights was parked at Hortman's home when they responded to the shooting, adding that a man dressed like a police officer was inside and opened fire on Brooklyn Park police officers before fleeing. Praetorian's website also says Boelter has worked for 'the world's largest food company based in Switzerland and the world's largest convenience retailer based in Japan.' That appears to align with a LinkedIn profile with Boelter's name and photo that includes prior jobs as a supervisor at Nestle and a 7-Eleven general manager. It doesn't mention Praetorian Guard or any prior military experience, but lists his current job as CEO of Red Lion Group in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Minnesota Star Tribune cited an online video from two years ago that appears to show Boelter preaching in Congo and telling a congregation, 'I met Jesus when I was 17 years old and I gave my life to him.' The LinkedIn page also says Boelter has a doctorate in leadership and a master of science in management from Cardinal Stritch University. Man killed in Hammersmith double shooting named and pictured for the first time
A man who died following a double shooting in Hammersmith has been named as Jordan Oliver Rodney from Northolt. Police were called to Claxton Grove at 11.19pm on Tuesday, June 11, following reports of gunfire. Officers arrived to find two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were taken to hospital. A post-mortem examination has since been carried out. The second victim, also in his 30s, has been discharged from hospital. Jahmel Joseph, 28, of Eaton Rise, Ealing, has been charged with murder, attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, possession of a prohibited weapon, and dangerous driving. He appeared in custody at Bromley Magistrates' Court on Saturday, July 14, and has been remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday, July 18. In a statement, Mr Rodney's family said: 'It is with unimaginable heartbreak that we confirm the tragic loss of our beloved Jordan Olivier Rodney, who was taken from us far too soon. 'Jordan was a man who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. 'He was warm, funny, and loving. 'Always quick with a smile or a joke that could brighten the dark day. 'His kindness, generosity, and humour left a lasting impression on friends and family alike. 'Our son, brother, uncle, and friend was so much more than the circumstances of his death. 'He brought joy to our lives every single day, and his absence leaves a hole that can never be filled. 'We will remember Jordie for the love he shared so freely, the laughter he inspired, and the way he made us all feel seen and valued. 'We ask for privacy as we grieve this devastating loss and whilst we work to come to terms with what has happened.
