Harissa Adlyn: All my co-stars smell good!

Yahoo01-08-2025
1 Aug - Harissa Adlyn couldn't help but laugh at the chaos that she has created over her sharing a story about filming with someone with a body odour.
The 22-year-old actress, who was asked about the issue recently, said that she received calls from many of her previous co-stars asking her if she was talking about them.
"They even said that they are sorry if it was them," she said. "But I didn't mention any names. So, it could be anybody."
Harissa also apologised to Daniel Fong and Nabil Aqil, two of her former co-stars who were affected by the issue as well.
"They were okay about it. We even laughed about it because the whole thing is just funny. But I do feel sorry for actors who have worked with me like Redza Rosli and Niezam Zaidi. They all smell great," she said.
Harissa said that she didn't intend to embarrass anybody, and that the reason she told the story previously was so that everybody will take good care of their hygiene.
"I hope people will see it in a positive way, no matter what sector you are in. Make sure to take care of your hygiene," she added.

Danielle Spencer, Dee From What's Happening!!, Dead at 60

Danielle Spencer, the actress who played Raj's sarcastic little sister Deadra 'Dee' Thomas on What's Happening!!, died Monday. She was 60 years old. The news was posted by her former What's Happening!! co-star Haywood Nelson on Instagram Tuesday. More from TVLine Ray Brooks, Mr Benn Narrator and EastEnders Vet, Dead at 86 Jon Miyahara, Superstore's Silent Scene Stealer, Dead at 83 The Walking Dead's Kelley Mack Dead at 33 'Dr. Dee, our brilliant, loving, positive, pragmatic warrior, without fail, has finally found her release from the clutches of this world and a body,' he wrote. 'We celebrate Danielle Spencer and her contributions as we regret to inform her departure and transition from a long battle with cancer. 'We have lost a daughter, sister, family member, What's Happening cast member, veterinarian animal rights proponent and healer, and cancer heroine. Our Shero. Danielle is loved. She will be missed in this form and forever embraced.' Spencer played Dee, the precocious and meddling younger sister on What's Happening!!, for three seasons beginning in 1976. Loosely based on the 1975 film Cooley High, the series started out as a summer replacement on ABC. After it ended, a spinoff of the show titled What's Happening Now!! was ordered, running from 1985 to 1988. Spencer reprised her role, recurring as a college-aged Dee for 16 episodes. In 1996, she pivoted from acting and became a veterinarian, and though she considered herself to be semi-retired from the business, she still occasionally acted. Her other TV credits include The Brady Bunch Hour and Days of Our Lives. She also played a vet in the 1997 James L. Brooks movie As Good As It Gets. Forget the Steam Deck, this 12.5-inch handheld can play games at 4K 100FPS

TL;DR A modder has created a handheld gaming PC with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU. The handheld's display is 12.5 inches with a 4K resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. It's capable of running God of War (2016) in 4K resolution at 100FPS. Handheld gaming PCs are getting more powerful all the time. However, they still can't replace the level of performance you get from a full-on gaming laptop. Or can they? One modder has taken that idea and put it to the test. A Bilibili creator who goes by Qingchen DIY has built a giant 12.5-inch handheld gaming PC (h/t El Chapuzas Informatico). But it's not the size that's impressive, it's the fact that the modder fitted it with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU. Along with that high-end GPU, there's also a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900HX CPU. The system is also equipped with a 12.5-inch IPS touch display with a 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels), 64GB of DDR5 RAM, and 2TB of storage. It's safe to say that the power behind this device easily surpasses the top names in the market, like Valve's Steam Deck and ASUS' ROG Ally X. You could even say this system is more of a laptop that was simply converted into a handheld. But what can this beast of a handheld actually do? In the video, the modder shows the device running Cyberpunk 2077 in 4K resolution at 60FPS. That's not bad considering that other handhelds tend to struggle running the title at just 1080p, with upscaling technologies helping out. What's even more impressive is that at one point, the modder shows the device running God of War (2016) in 4K at above 100FPS. As you can imagine, this is likely a pretty power-hungry device. It appears this device relies on an external power source. However, it does also have a built-in 50Wh battery. While it would be fun to give this system a try, we'll probably stick with our Steam Deck. A 12.5-inch handheld would be a bit unwieldy for most hands. Follow

There's A New ‘KPop Demon Hunters' Song You Haven't Heard

Golden by HUNTR/X from the Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters just hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, a first for any KPop group. Some have said that this doesn't 'count' because the group is fictional, but there are obviously very real voices behind those characters. And one of them just released a new KPop Demon Hunters song. Kind of. Rei Ami is an American singer, rapper and voice actress originally from South Korea, and she is the singing voice of the HUNTR/X rapper Zoey in the film, as each character had both a speaking voice actor (in Zoey's case, Ji-young Yoo) and a singing voice for their tracks. On social media, Rei Ami responded to a request from a fan about an apparently teased diss track from Zoey targeting the Saja Boys, wondering if she could do a full version. And she did. The track, which doesn't have an official name, was written by Rei Ami, Reibes and Hunters. The beat is BMTJ via YouTube. She says it was compiled via Instagram and Tik Tok Live over the course of two days. Here it is: The track is about 1:20, which is obviously shorter than most of the other songs from HUNTR/X and the rest on the official soundtrack, but despite its low-key production, easily sounds like something that could have shown up in the film. KPop Demon Hunters continues to break record after record, arguably its biggest being yesterday, topping the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time for a Kpop group with the track Golden. But besides that? While there are rumblings behind the scenes about what Netflix has planned next for KPop Demon Hunters, like a trilogy of films and maybe even a live-action remake and a stage show, nothing official has been announced yet (Update: They've just announced a sing-along theater event). The movie is such a huge hit it is probably hard to process and figure out next steps, given that they've clearly given birth to an enormous franchise suddenly out of nowhere. But I expect we're about to hear the next stage of HUNTR/X and the Demon Hunters soon enough. Follow me on Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.
