This week, The Bold and the Beautiful fans have been treated to not one but two big look-ahead previews of what's coming up. Now that Memorial Day is behind us, it's time to focus on sweeps week and it looks like the B&B team saved the biggest drama for one of the biggest weeks in the TV calendar. Here's The Bold and the Beautiful preview for the week of May 26.

After last week saw Liam's (Scott Clifton) condition worsening, Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) catching a plane and Hope (Annika Noelle) getting a surprise proposal from Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor), well, it seemed like there was no way to top that.
Clifton has been giving the performance of a lifetime as he portrays Liam's slow decline as the result of a brain tumor and during the May 26 episode he implored Finn (Tanner Novlan) to help take care of his girls when the time comes. Liam is also hoping that Carter will be there to help, too.
Little does Liam know, while he's giving a heartfelt soliloquy to Finn, Carter is on one knee, asking Hope to marry him. She didn't have an answer for him, so it's anyone's guess how this is going to turn out.

The first look-ahead is the one that came at the end of the May 26 episode. In it, Liam hugs Beth and tells Finn that he doesn't know how he's going to say goodbye. Next we see Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) telling Hope and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) that "she" is a monster and she needs to be kept away from her family. The "she" in question, of course, is Luna (Lisa Yamada), who, in the following scene, can be seen telling Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) that Steffy will never accept her, so "why not just eliminate that threat?" To her credit, Sheila shuts that down quickly, but it doesn't look like Luna is convinced.
In the YouTube clip, Steffy and Finn share a moment together while Ridge tells the couple that Luna is one the hunt for Steffy. Finn looks upset. Next we see a different moment in the conversation between Luna and Sheila. Sheila tells Luna that Finn and Steffy have made a decision and she has to accept it, and Luna needs to "go." The clip ends as Luna is seen buying a gun and aiming it at a picture of Steffy.
Interestingly, this is the first time we've seen Luna in her murderous element. We saw her before in flashbacks, but this time we're seeing the moment when she hatches a plan to kill someone who's standing in the way of getting what she wants.
We have a feeling that things are about to take a very dark turn in the next week.

Three elderly men die in fire at Hamburg hospital, dozens injured
Three men were killed and dozens were injured in a fire at a hospital operated by the Catholic Church in the northern German city of Hamburg, officials said on Sunday. The men were aged 84, 85 and 87, police reported early on Sunday afternoon, putting the number of injured at 34, with one in critical condition. The fire broke out in the geriatric ward on the ground floor of the Marien Hospital overnight before spreading to the first floor. Parts of the hospital in the Hohenfelde district of the city were evacuated. Smoke from the blaze affected all four of the building's floors. Patients in adjacent buildings were also assessed for the effects. The cause of the fire was initially unclear, as was the extent of the damage. One ward had been completely burnt out, according to a dpa reporter at the scene. Rescue work was complete and the fire doused after around 20 minutes, a fire department spokesman said. Firefighters had rescued people through windows, he said. Around 160 rescue workers were deployed. The hospital, part of a group owned by the Catholic archdiocese of Hamburg, is one of the largest denominational hospitals in northern Germany. It has about 600 beds and treats approximately 93,000 patients each year. "I'm deeply concerned and very sad. I am with the deceased and injured in my thoughts and in my prayers," Archbishop Stefan Hesse said. He paid tribute to the rescue services for their work and called on Hamburg's parishes to remember all involved in their Sunday services. Hesse was due to visit the hospital on Sunday afternoon. Hamburg police are investigating the blaze along with the fire department. A hospital spokeswoman said the hospital's operating theatres had been unaffected.

California shooting leaves 1 officer dead, another wounded
A police officer was killed and another was wounded in a shooting Saturday night in Baldwin Park, California, in Los Angeles County. The shooting happened near 4200 Filhurst Avenue at around 7:15 p.m., Baldwin Park police chief Robert López said at a news briefing. Baldwin Park police officers were called to the area after reports that shots were fired. At some point after the officers arrived at the scene, the suspect opened fire. Hamburg hospital fire kills three as people call for help from windows
Three patients have been killed and dozens of other people were reportedly injured after a fire at a hospital in Germany. The blaze broke out in a room in the geriatric ward of the Marienkrankenhaus early on Sunday. It started on the ground floor and spread to the level above, with smoke affecting much of the four-storey building in the city of Hamburg. Firefighters were alerted soon after midnight. They said they found several patients calling for help from windows, and some people were rescued using ladders. Three adults died and more than 30 were injured in the fire, the German news agency dpa said. One of the injured is in a life-threatening condition, while 18 have serious injuries and 15 have minor injuries, the agency added.
