DANAT Bahrain Showcases Pearl Heritage at ATM 2025 Dubai
The Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones (DANAT) proudly participated in the Arabian Travel Market 2025, held over four days at the Dubai World Trade Centre under the theme 'Transforming Travel Through Connections.'
As part of its exhibit, DANAT highlighted Bahrain's rich heritage and deep-rooted history in natural pearls and oyster diving. Live demonstrations of traditional pearl oyster opening captivated visitors from diverse nationalities, offering them an authentic glimpse into the kingdom's cultural legacy and its long-standing association with the pearling craft-a profession that remains an integral part of Bahrain's national identity.
Commenting on the institute's participation, DANAT CEO Ms. Noora Jamsheer stated, 'We are proud to represent the Kingdom of Bahrain and its rich heritage at one of the region's and world's most prominent travel and tourism exhibitions. This platform has allowed us to showcase Bahrain's authentic legacy in natural pearls, jewelry, and oysters to a global audience.'
She added, 'Through such engagements, we aim to position Bahrain as a unique heritage tourism destination. DANAT bolsters cooperation with India gemology institute
The Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones (DANAT) welcomed a high-level delegation from the Gemological Institute of India (GII), as part of a strategic visit aimed at enhancing cooperation and exchanging expertise in the field of gemology. The visiting delegation included Dr. A. V. R. Reddy, CEO of GII, and Mr. S. N. Desai, Member of the Board of Trustees. The visit commenced with a presentation by DANAT CEO Noura Jamsheer, who outlined the Institute's mission to uphold and promote the Kingdom of Bahrain's longstanding legacy as a global hub for pearls, gemstones, and jewelry.
