Jersey beat Alderney in Muratti Vase semi-final
Jersey booked their place in May's Muratti Vase final after beating Alderney 2-0 in their semi-final at The Arsenal.
Jay Dos Santos and Kieran Lester went close early on before Dos Santos broke the deadlock with an excellent curling free-kick into the top corner after 37 minutes.
Newly-appointed Jersey boss Jack Cannon should have seen his side double their lead when Lester was denied from close range by a fine save a minute after the restart.
Jersey, who had many of their first-choice players in action for title-chasing club side Jersey Bulls, dominated much of the possession.
Jamie Mourant had a 77th-minute shot blocked for the visitors while Connor Maher went close five minutes later.
Alderney had a couple of late efforts but could not find an equaliser, and just as it looked as though they would record their closest result with the Caesareans since a 2-1 loss in 2017, they conceded a second.
Seaney McColgan finished well after some good control from Maher's pass in stoppage time for a goal on his Jersey debut.
The defeat means Alderney will have to wait another year to try to end their 105-year winless run - their only victory came in the 1920 final when they beat Guernsey 1-0.
Jersey will go on to face Guernsey for the Muratti Vase on Saturday, 17 May.
The match will be the first Muratti game to be held at Guernsey's new Victoria Park ground.

Jersey beat Isle of Man to keep World Cup hope alive
Jersey batter Trinity Smith helped keep the island's T20 Women's World Cup hopes alive as she hit 44 in a 49-run win over the Isle of Man in their European Division Two qualifier. After Jersey slumped to 54-5 off nine overs, Smith and skipper Chloe Greechan came together and put on 74 runs in 9.4 overs as Jersey ended on 140-6 in Rome. In reply, Isle of Man - who lost twice to Jersey in a warm-up tournament last month - could only make 91 all out in 17.1 overs as Analise Merritt took 4-22. The win keeps Jersey's hopes of a top-two finish in the six-team round-robin event alive and, with it, progress to the final round of European qualifying in August. They move up to second place in the group, ahead of Germany thanks to a better run rate after the Germans were beaten by hosts Italy. The Italians are now guaranteed to qualify, having won all four of their matches, but Germany have a game in hand on Jersey and will progress if they win both of their final two games, having beaten the islanders on Monday. Jersey face bottom side Sweden in their final fixture on Friday morning. Jersey pick squad for T20 World Cup qualifiers 'Tremendous' Jersey win six out of six in Cyprus Having lost the toss, Jersey started well with Merritt and Aimee Aikenhead putting on 36 for the first wicket. But Merritt was caught for 24 midway through the sixth over and Grace Wetherall was out for a duck with the very next ball. Aikenhead was sloppily run out an over later for 11 before Florence Tanguy was caught for four to leave Jersey on 45-4 as Alanya Thorpe took 3-25. Smith was lucky not to be caught soon after, before she and skipper Greechan came together for the sixth wicket. With Jersey's middle and lower order having struggled all tournament, the pressure was on the pair but they delivered to stabilise the innings as each picked their shots. Smith's knock came off 40 balls and included five fours while Greechan went on to hit 28 not out from 32 balls to guide Jersey to 140-6. In reply, the Manx batters could not deal with Jersey's superior bowling attack as they slumped to 28-4 off 5.1 overs. Wetherall and Tanguy each took two wickets as Clare Crowe's career-best knock of 25 off 32 balls was the only real Manx resistance. But when she was run out to take the score to 91-9, Jersey wasted little time in finishing the game off as Greechan took the remaining wicket with the next delivery.

Jersey Bulls make play-off final after penalty shootout
Euan van der Vliet saved three penalties as Jersey Bulls beat Fleet Town 3-0 in a shootout to reach the Combined Counties Premier South play-off final. The two sides finished level at 1-1 after 90 minutes at Springfield and will face with Redhill or Cobham in St Helier next week. The win means Jersey Bulls' hopes of promotion stay alive after they were denied the league title after being docked three points for fielding an ineligible player - seeing them drop from the top of the table. The islanders have gone further than last season when they were beaten at the semi-final stage of the play-offs by AFC Croydon Athletic having finished second in the league. Paul McKay, Kurtis Guthrie and Francis Lekimamati all scored from the spot as van der Vliet was unbeatable from 12 yards. The game should not have gone to penalties but the hosts failed to take their chances, especially during the first half as Lorne Bickley, Miguel Carvalho and Fraser Barlow all went close goalless period before the break. Bulls finally took the lead 13 minutes into the second period as Ross Stepney turned into his own net after good work by Fraser Barlow. But Fleet upped the pressure as Bulls tried to consolidate their lead and were rewarded when Tom Smith levelled in the 88th minute to send the fixture into a shootout. Jersey Bulls
